A wealth of knowledge - A Must Buy!!
The authors do a superb job explaining the applications of wireless solutions for all readers - those very technical and those who are not. The information is concisely written and is not dry and boring. In addition, the case studies that were presented flowed very well with the material. This is the first book I've seen that disects each step of the architecture design process - the charts were a great visual guide.

Learn wireless architecture from the pros
One of the best books I've read on wireless technology. This book provides not only a blueprint for building a web architecture, but also illustrates how to integrate wireless design into your enteprise. It's like two books in one! Each section covers a unique case study for wireless. It's a rare chance to learn from the big 5 pros.
It's a great book for a beginner or someone with years of experience.

a complete guide to wireless applications
There are plenty of books out there on the shelves about wireless technology. When I first took this book into my hands - that's what I expected. Needless to say: I was positively surprised about Cap Gemini Ernst& Young's different approach to wireless technology. They not just covered technical aspects (just like everyone else), but even more importantly, how all this translates into the daily business environment. This book will stay on my desk as a source of continuous reference and will not collect dust in my book shelf.

A Very Good Book, Dumbed Down
This is a very good book. The author is obviously indebted to Johanna Spyri's Heidi, but in a good way. This book can be read aloud to children as young as 5, but young teenagers will also enjoy it. Be aware, though, that St. John's original text is out of print. What Moody and Scripture Union currently publish is an "updated" version--good if your child struggles with reading; but if your child is literate, get a used copy!

I Can't Recommend it enough!
When I was 9 years old I read this book. I didn't remember much about the story, but when I saw it in a book store all the warm feelings came flooding back, and I bought it to read to my daughters.

They have so enjoyed it! Our oldest is 8, and our youngest is 5, and we've had a difficult time getting the 5-year-old to sit through "chapter books". But she was enthralled from the start, especially because of the cat and the kittens!

It's a gentle story that depicts the love of Jesus in a simple way, without forcing it. It's just part of life, exactly as it's supposed to be.

A beautiful story that I'm sure my daughters will carry with them, too!

A Must Read!
I first read this book when I was in 3rd grade. It has always been my all time favorite book. I have now been an teacher for 14 years and it is has remained the only book I will always read to my class. It deals well with issues of pride, friendship, sacrifice, truth and growing up and draws the readers in from the very first chapter. My students always elect this as their favorite read aloud of the year - and I read a lot of classics to them! Try to read the original text. I always prefer these to the abridged versions. There is also a well done movie available! READ THIS BOOK and you will be greatly moved and impacted!

Amazing Book
I see this book as a must read. its incredibly written, and takes the reader on the main charecters roller-coaster of emotions. the writter has a great sense of rythem in his writting style and uses it well by keeping it fresh for the reader. It is not a happy story, its not a heart renching story either... this book absorbed me, and took me along with the main charecters, Hal's, emotions and thought process.. sometimes intense, and sometimes bubbling with subtle humor, its a great story. ive brought myself to read more than once.

Review: Dance on my grave/by Aidan Chambers
This book is, as you know, a story about life and death. Hal is the one who is telling us about the hole story: about how he met Barry, what they did in the 7 weeks they spended together before Barry died and the most important, THE PROMISE: The one who lives longer than the other most dance on his friend's grave. Then Barry dies, right after a fight, about a girl. And Hal loses the control over himself but had to keep his promise... This is a great book, that you all schould read if you get a chance.

A great young adult book to read
I first read this book when I was a freshman in high school. It couldn't have come along at a better time on my life...and I"m rereading it again and finding new stuff all the time. The hardest part of the book is getting used to the different words and phrases that someone young in America might not be used to. But that shouldn't trip the reader up terribly to enjoy the central theme of the story. Chambers writes about a boy who comes to love another boy. What is interesting is how he understands the underlying newness that Hal feels towards Barry, and how Hal deals with his feelings towards Barry. The book never takes a high road on the subject of being gay, but tells it matter of factly, the story about a boy falling in love with another boy. Readers will know they are not alone in how they feel. I read this from an isolated high school in rural Iowa and this book certainly helped me get through some rough times. I'd recommend it to young and old.

How can one man keep going?
Great Book. It certainly helps one to understand if someone who has suffered can learn to forgive and still believe in God. Very moving, hard to put down, great scripture relations.

Inspirational work of art from Evangelist J.L. Young
This book was very good. I felt that I was going throught his problems with him. As a friend of the Young family, I could relate to some of the things that Evangelist Young wrote about. I now live in Michigan and I plan to put his books on the shelves at my Church. This book is very much worth reading, and I recommend it for people of religion or non-religion backgrounds. Thank you Evangelist J.L. Young for the book and keep up the good work. God Bless You,

The Book
This was a book that kept your interest, and made you think about the way we treat others and the way others treat us. I believe that only through God, Mr Young was able to endure, and forgive in the face of such an ordeal. I would recommend this book to anyone who may be going through similar problems..

Trouble . . .
Jessica has finally found the man of her dreams: Mike McAllery. But he lives in the same apartment building as her brother, and Steven can't stand him! Elizabeth is having so much trouble dealing with Celine Boreduex, her snooty roommate, that she fails to see that Tom Watts has taken a liking to her. Meanwhile, Celine is spreading vicious rumers about Liz, and only Liz's new friend Nina knows the truth. The Sigmas are after Winston to get them dates with the girls in his dorm. And to make things worse, Todd is facing some serious ILLEGAL charges. To find out what happens, read the rest of the book.

It's okay
This is one of the good books in this series. It's more realistic then the latest ones. Enid is acting like a total snob, and I can't believe the way she is treating Liz just because she got into the "cool and popular sorioty" (I'm in College and there is no such thing as an "in crowd".) I was so glad when Enid got what was coming to her it really starts with the next book. Todd gets what's coming to him too. Speaking of Todd, he is a jerk, it was obvious from the way he just slept with Lauren that he would have slept with anyone as long as he loses his virginity. Jessica made really big mistake she sleeps with Mike MCAllery, whom she hardly knows and according to his rep. he could have had anything. Other than that the book is good, the scenes between Celine and Liz are hilarous. Tom and Liz have more chemistry then she and Todd ever had and I'm glad they end up together. And Liz ended up happy and Todd and Enid ended up depressed like Liz once was.

Great book
In this book, Jessica Wakefield and her boyfriend Michael McAllery get closer. Jessica ahs sex for the first time, with Mike. He wants her to move in with him, but her brother wants the exact opposite. Elizabeth Wakefield loves Tom Watts, and Tom feels the same about her. But are they really ready to love again? Plus they do a speacil story on the atletics department. Todd Wilkins, Elizabeth's ex-boyfriend is involved in the story. He has a new girlfriend, and extreme popularity. Can that all go down with one scandal? Anyway, Jessica and Mike get closer. This is a great book!

Incredible!
Jessica Wakefield was almost raped by her former boyfriend, James Montgomery. In this book she deals with it, and finds the effort to speak up. Her ex-husband, Michael McAllery has some kind things to say to her. Elizabeth Wakefield supports her also. Meanwhile, Lila and Bruce fall in love, and Alexandra falls in love on the campus hotline. Maia Stillwater gets the courage to speak up. It sends James down. This book deals with rape and sexual assault greatly. This book is excellent!

Great Book!!!!
This is one of my favorite Sweet Valley University books. It deals with serious issues, and I reccomend it to anyone. Jessica Wakefield, who was assulted by her former boyfriend, James Montgomery, is wondering what she should do about it. Maia, who was raped by James, is afraid to speak up. Jessica was afraid, at first, but eventually spoke up. Also, she has a trial with James in court. Elizabeth totally supports her, as do Steven and Billie. Also, her former husband, Michael McAllery says a few kind words to her. Anyway, Jessica deals with the fact that James almost raped her, and hopes that people will believe her. Meanwhile, Alexandra Rollins fidns love on the campus hotline, little does she know who he really is. Lila and Bruce fall madly in love and are rescued. Anyway, back to the Jessica/James trial. It was so beautiful! The way Jessica felt confident was so wonderful! And when Maia testified, I was so proud of her. Also, the march was awesome! The way it built up Jessica's confidence was great. The trial was awesome, too. This book deals a lot with date rape and sexual assualt. Jessica and Maia helped save a lot of people. Also, Mike McAllery is so sweet to Jessica. Anyway, this book is a must have!

Take Back the Night #10--a review
I think the first 11 SVU books are the best ever-written. this particular book follows Jess/James' trial, and has a relieving, courageous (Maia) outcome. It deals with the outcome of rape-assault, and I think the book emphasizes the importance of speaking out! I think the male reactions in the book are pretty realistic...and Jessica's fear, the whole thing is just so REAL! I also like the march on-campus, I know a lot of colleges are doing those nowadays.

A brilliant play
Required to read Henry for my AP English Language class, I came into the play with a bias. I honestly felt that it would be a boring political play. I was utterly wrong! A huge fan of Shakespeare, I found Henry V to be a formidable match for the Bard's more critically acclaimed plays, such as Hamlet and Macbeth. Henry has it all! Shakespeare's attitude toward Henry the King is certainly one of admiration. By communicating the fact that an effective monarch must have a complete understanding of the common subjects (Pistol and Bardolph and Quickly), Shakespeare sets up Henry to be the ideal Christian king. The controlled language of Henry's speeches, particularly his response to the Dauphin's idiotic insult, also glorifies Henry. I certainly recommend this play to anyone, fan of Shakespeare or not.

Profoundly Brilliant!
Written by Shakespeare for Queen Elizabeth I amidst a time of Irish rebellion, Henry V more than adequately serves its intended purpose of galvanizing nationalistic fervor. It proved itself to be an unwavering and unfaltering impetus of patriotism in Shakespeare's day, during WWII, and still today it continues to resonate and reverberate this provocatively telling tale of the most gloriously revered monarch in English history.

Henry V's stirring orations prior to the victorious battles of Harfleur("Once more unto the breach") and Agincourt("We few, we happy few, we band of brothers") astonish and inspire me every time I read them. Simply amazing. Having read Henry IV Parts I&II beforehand, I was surprised Shakespeare failed to live up to his word in the Epilogue of Part II in which he promised to "continue the story, with Sir John in it." The continuing follies of the conniving Bardolph, Nym, & Pistol and their ignominious thieving prove to be somewhat of a depricating underplot which nevertheless proves to act as a succinct metaphor for King Harry's "taking" of France.

Powerful and vibrant, the character of Henry V evokes passion and unadulterated admiration through his incredible valor & strength of conviction in a time of utter despondency. It is this conviction and passion which transcends time, and moreover, the very pages that Shakespeare's words are written upon. I find it impossible to overstate the absolute and impregnable puissance of Henry V, a play which I undoubtedly rate as the obligatory cream of the crop of Shakespeare's Histories. I recommend reading Henry IV I&II prior to Henry V as well as viewing Kenneth Branagh's masterpiece film subsequent to reading the equally moving work.

We Few, We Happy Few
On D-Day British officers read Henry's famous words to their men as they approached the beach. When Churchill needed material for his famous "Few" speech, his thoughts turned to the pages of Henry V. From "once more into the breach" to "we happy few, we band of brothers" this play resonates with Shakespeare's paen to England's warrior king. Oh, you'll be a bit confused at the start if you haven't read Henry IV parts 1 and 2, but this is primarily the story of Henry V's victory at Agincourt. Whether the play glorifies war or just Henry you will have to decide. There is much food for thought here for the perceptive reader. But then Shakespeare is always provocative.

Over the Wall by John H. Ritter
"Over the Wall" by John H. Ritter was one of the greatest books I have ever read. It is about a boy named Tyler who has many conflicts with his family and his baseball team that he plays for. He has a mom and dad that he lives with in California, but the book takes place in New York where he visits his cousin Louie. He joins a baseball team there. Tyler has a very short temper which gets him in trouble quite a lot. At the end of the book he cleans up and tries out for the league All-Stars. Will he make them? Read the book to find out.

Ritter hits one Over the Wall
John Ritter's second novel is an intricate web of baseball, war, and coming of age. Ritter's 14 year old hero, Tyler, almost lets anger destroy his sport. Through his development of self-control, he is able to come to terms with his family and with his country's involvement in the Viet Nam War. The story is seamlessly woven together with humor and insight into the development of adolescents. There are positive adult role models who help Tyler along the way, and even when Tyler does not realize it, the reader will. By the end we care about this young man and appreciate his reflection and growth. In this way, Tyler, too, becomes a role model for the many young readers who will be engaged by this novel. Older readers will appreciate the historical connections and younger readers will enjoy the fast paced story line. This is a great book for a read-aloud and contains enough discussion of the Viet Nam War era to make it a must for an interdisciplinary classroom.

I am eagerly anticipating Ritter's third book and welcome him to the ranks of exceptional writers for young adults.

A Sixth Grade Reader from California
The opening lines of Chapter One in your novel, "People say time heals all wounds. . . .Time won't heal anything," can apply to many people's lives, as well as the history of mankind. In putting these lines into the story at an early point, you allow the reader to read their own life into the book, and therefore, understand the emotions of the characters better and more clearly.

I have also noticed the way the fathers in both of your novels, CHOOSING UP SIDES and OVER THE WALL seem to keep their families on their toes in some way or another. In CHOOSING UP SIDES, the father dominated the family by enforcing strict rules with old- fashioned punishments. Luke had to be very careful around him, so he was never quite comfortable. In OVER THE WALL, Tyler felt like his dad was making him "an outsider in his own home." He and his mother had to "talk easy," and "not do anything that might upset Dad." In fact, in both stories, Luke and Tyler seemed to have to hold in their true thoughts and feelings so as not to upset their fathers. Because the cause of this discomfort was different in CHOOSING UP SIDES, the resolution in OVER THE WALL will most likely also be different.

I can't wait to finish reading OVER THE WALL!

My Review on The Great Brain Academy
The Great Brain at the Academy is a book told from John Fitzgerald the author of the book about his brother Tom, the great brain, and his time at the Catholic Academy. Tom is a smart boy so he countines his education in the 7th grade a year earlier than the other boys his age. At the Academy Tom has to deal with the horible Father Rodriguez the superetient at the school. Tom learns from him that the school is almost no fun and he must use his great brain to give the other boys some reason of coming to the school besides by the force other their parents. Tom runs a candy store, finds a card shark, and swindles many kids as he does in all the books of the Gret Brain Series. This is a very good book loaded with pranks and Great Brain fun.

THIS BOOK MOLDED MY FUTURE
It's funny, heartwarming and really involving. All these feelings I felt when I read it when I was 9 yrs. old. It's so amazing how one can be so enterprising and witty at such a young age! Tom definitely had an impact on me then and always will! I grew up wishing to be like him...and I think I got my wish. EVERYONE: Grab this book, in fact, the whole GREAT BRAIN series as soon as you can. The little ones will love you for this great gift! On a personal note: I lost all my GREAT BRAIN books to kids who borrowed from me and never returned. Now that I'm 22 I'm very happy to get a second chance to collect THE GREAT BRAIN SERIES! Victoria Miranda

This one may be my favorite
John Dennis Fitzgerald intended to chronicle his youth in Utah for adults, not children. His publisher thought otherwise and the result are these gems. I don't even call them children's lit gems because I find them just as enjoyable as an adult. Before I go on, you should know that Fitzgerald wrote one book about his youth that is for adults, called "Papa Married a Mormon". It is one of the most amazing books on the American west that I have ever read. Sadly, it is out of print, and you may, like me, have to pay an exorbitant sum to get a copy. Trust me, save up and do it. Now back to this book. Every single Great Brain book in the series is pure gold, and the entire set can be had cheaply, so I say buy them all at once. I "put my money where my mouth is" as Tom the Great Brain would say, and bought the lot.

Wonderful!
Loved it! Fans of the TV show will definitely enjoy this novel. At some points it kind of grossed me out, but I couldn't stop reading because I enjoyed at the same time. Highly recommend.

If you love Angel then you have got to read this
There is a killer stalking the streets of Los Angeles, one sucks the essence from his victims leaving an empty husk. The only thing the victims have in common is the manner of their deaths and their link to the Internet. An Internet savvy demon is the last thing that Angel thought he would have to deal with - but you never say never in his line of work. As he tries to track the killer he is unaware that he is not the only one hunting the killer. A cult is on the trail too, but they plan to bind the demon. Now Angel is in the way - and they don't like that.

There are some authors for series like Angel and Buffy that make you feel like they are sitting inside their world. You get that feeling from John Passarella - it really feels like he has spent time with Buffy and Angel and really gotten inside their heads. The storyline of this novel is both gripping and seamless. It could have just as easily been an episode off the series. I agree with other reviewers here that Passarella compares really well to Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder and I can only hope that he writes more in the series.

Excellent...
Elliot Grundy has made a deal with a demon. In return for everything he desires Elliot will help the demon to complete a ritual that will allow it to be reborn. Using Internet chatrooms, the pair are luring unsuspecting men and women into meeting with the demon, disguised as the victim’s ideal date. However, little does the demon know that an ancient cult seeks to posses and control it for their own purposes…

When Doyle’s visions lead Angel to the scene of a murder, he discovers that a man has been attacked by a demon that leaves behind nothing of the victim except for their skin. It soon emerges that this is not the first attack and that both men and women from all over L.A. are being targeted. The victims seem to have nothing in common, and the description of the attacker differs in every case. Angel has no idea who or what this demon may be.

“Avatar” was a fast-paced, enjoyable read. John Passarella manages to capture the characters exactly as they are in the TV show and ultimately produces an original, entertaining novel that maintains your interest throughout. There is no pause in the action and “Avatar” is one of the best of the Angel or Buffy books I have read so far. I recommend this book to all Angel fans.
