An absolute must for anyone who remembers the B-36 aircraft
My name is Michael L. Oaks, of Grants Pass, Oregon. If you were ever associated in any way, with the B-36 aircraft as I was, this book is a "must have" for your library. It tells the story of the greatest "Cold War" aircraft made. It covers all of the various models of the B-36 to even the variations developed from it such as the C-199 Cargo type etc. The book is in 8 1/2x 11 landscape, glossy format, with lots of photo's of everything from crashes, tail markings (in color). In fact, its 50 pages cover just about every detail about this magnificant aircraft, from the flight deck, to the various manned stations through-out the "Peacemaker". It gives a brief history of the various Bomb wings, as well as the serial numbers of all of the B-36's. A must for the aircraft enthusiast. My own personal experience with the B-36 was as an engine mechanic from 1951 through 1954. Great book! Great store! and have a Great day!

An informative book for reference.
This book is a very good source of information if you are building a model of this aircraft and want to have it look like the actual aircraft. It also tells a brief history of this aircraft and the other programs that this aircraft was involved in, as well as what it was designed to do. The book also briefly talks about the three other aircraft that this aircraft inspired, but were never built past the prototype stage.

A Great Textbook
This is a great book! The method at which the material is presented rivals that of medical textbooks. The graphics and illustration are great! Go UC Irvine! Spcial Events Parking Rocks!

A good investment for any microbiology student.
The information presented in this book was very helpful in my understanding of virology. The text was very easily followed and subjects presented in a straightforward manner. Basic Virology is a must have!

Building the Foundation for a Successful Marriage
My friend who was wed in Las Vegas after a two-week whirlwind courtship recommended this book to me before I was married. Needless to say her marriage did not last, but she knew this book could help my future husband and I discuss the things that she and her husband did not. Make sure you get your partner to read at least parts of the book if not the whole thing so they have a better understand how serious the discussion needs to be, because their perspective is really critical.

This book isn't just for Catholics. It applies to all faiths and even has a chapter on interfaith marriages and the discourse that need to take place to help buffer some of the obstacles to come.

This book reads very quickly and is filled with insight. It is a must for any couple to be married, especially if you do not plan on any other marriage preparation.

Great Book - It really prepares you
This book gets you ready for marriage and helps your marriage. I'd recommend this book for anyone getting ready to marry or is married.

The Bible of Griswold collecting
Being a collector, dealer and trader with my own online cast iron business..., this the what most collectors call the Bible of Griswold or the BLUE book. It is well laid out with great pictures. The author, Dave Smith, is friendly and easy to approach with questions and is very knowledgeable. It is the first book I go to.

Consider it the Bible of Cast Iron
Finding the author online and then finding his book. What a great book for the first time collector, the continuing collector or the expert. Precise information presented in and easy to read format. Great pictures and lots of neat little notes. A sample of the pricing of any and all. Includes a short history of most of the companies that have made cast iron cookware, and other items in cast iron.

Excellent
Lots of creative ideas. The photos are wonderful.Haven't tried the recipes yet. I'm more interested in the ideas and the way they've suggested giving foods as gifts. Their ideas for presentation are delightful. These can be used for your own food items as well. It's kind of an heirloom book...timeless ideas for giving tasteful gifts. I love it!

I will deffentily buy this one to use over and over again.
The colored photos really help with the projects. I started marking my favorite pages, but then quit since I liked nearly all of them.

This book will help me to really personalize some small gifts for teachers ect.

I have already E-mailed the title to two friends so that they my also know about this little treasure I found.

Christmas Gifts of Good Taste
This is probably one of the best in the "Memories in the Making" Series. I would definitely recommend this book!

Give handmade offerings from your kitchen.
This book is another clever and appealing-to-the-eye book from the people at Leisure Arts. What better way to share a bit of yourself at the holiday time than to create something special from your kitchen to give to a special neighbor, co-worker, or friend. The gifts range from interesting canned goods such as Peppermint Marmalade to prebaked items such as Noel Cakes With Orange Sauce. I especially enjoyed making and giving mixes that the recipient can make themselves, such as the Christmas Cookie Crate. This includes a giant canister of the cookie starter with all the fixins' to make Peanut Butter Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Granola Cookies. What will appeal to the reader is not only the wide assortment of delectable recipes, but the ideas for packaging the treats! On the page for Black Bean Soup, the packaging is a small soup pot and ladle, with a plaid scarf tied around the pot. Just the thing to take the edge off winter! Or the box of Christmas Light Cookies inside a box resembling a Christmas light box! These ideas are all extremely easy, though will impress the recipients with the time you spent putting something special together just for them. Enjoy this book, there's enough for many years of "good taste" in it.

clever and unusual cookies!
Wow--pictures for all cookies, all seasons, ways to decorate the cookies, even ways to present them as a gift! Includes bubblegum flavored ice cream cones, artist palette, baby bears for a shower, watermelon, even strawberry cookies made by pie crust and gelatin! The perfect gift for a mom or grandmother to share with little ones!

Best cookie cookbook!
I've used this book many times over the past 5 years. This book has something for everyone from the kids to sophisticated adults. There is a large selection of cookies for all holidays. I've given this book as part of gift baskets because of the repeated requests for my recipes :)

Fabulous Classic Texas and Tex-Mex Recipes
I absolutely love this book! Over the last ten years, it has become a staple in my kitchen and the kitchens of friends who I have blessed with a copy. I am not a very talented cook, but I find these recipes easy to follow and virtually fail proof. My husband, a fabulous cook, also loves cooking with recipes from Cooking Texas Style. The book is filled with great unheard of recipes as well as Texas and Tex-Mex classics. In addition to the recipes, the personal notes that Ms. Marquez and Ms. Wagner have included are a thrill to read. There is information about the origin of some of the dishes as well as great family stories. I highly recommend this book to the novice or master chef! Enjoy!

Excellent Regional Cookbook
This cookbook is the best book on regional Texas cooking that I have ever read. The recipes are clear and informative, spanning Mexican, German, and Southern dishes. The work is made all the more interesting by its insights into Texan life and culture.

An excellent resource for married couples!
I read this refreshing, Biblically-based book straight through, and, at the end, was impressed with the number of things which related to me and to my wife. I believe it would be an excellent resource for anyone who is responsible for advising couples about to be married, or, indeed, for any married couple. There is something in this book for any married couple.

Great ideas for young and old alike.
This is a great book for sweethearts, soon to be married or young at heart. Older marrieds will see many things that will spur old memories of courtship and younger men and women will find some valuable tips about relationships. It is easy to get married but another story to STAY married. A humorous insight to life.
