Incredible
My dear friend, Pastor Linda Forsberg gave this book to me as a birthday present in May 2002. One day I began reading the sermons and and I found the book to be a treasure! I've revisited the pages a few times and each time I see a different message.

I am one of the fortunate ones who actually attends Pastor Linda's church and have witnessed her gift. I highly recommend this book.

A devotional true to Smith Wigglesworth. A word from his sermons for every day of the year. This isn't just a light, happy, have-a-good-day devotional. Smith as always sees deep into the Word of God and gives very challenging and thoughtful insights into the power of the Christian life...but the topper is that it is condensed into a few paragraphs so that even busy lifestyles can get a great nugget of spiritual wisdom.

The Believer's Rich Inheritance in Christ
The Good Lord confirmed the ministry of this blessed man of God through powerful signs and wonders.

This book reveals the privilages the believer has in Christ Jesus; the power that is available through the Holy Spirit to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever hope for. Wigglesworth shows the believer how to secure G-d's favor on their life, obtain freedeom from sin, practice the presence of
G-d, take authority over the enemy, and experience the supernatural.

This book is a wonderful faith builder, simply written, and very positive. Only believe, all things are possible.

Got Questions?
Ask the Apostle of Faith! California students grill Wigglesworth with pointed, tough questions. This uneducated plumber from Yorkshire answers with grace, humilty, power and truth. From God's heart to Wigglesworth's mouth, the Holy Spirit is given full expression and delivers words of conviction, comfort, and encouragement.

A Biblical challenge to live each day as Jesus Christ would.
In a few short weeks, Sow the Word will show you a new depth to life and relationships, found through studying the person of Jesus Christ. Kenton's book is set up simply - a weekly focus of one characteristic of Jesus, followed by a daily Scripture reading and a challenge to grow in the depth of your own character. The book is not dated, giving a freedom to choose which week's topic most closely relates to where your need is. What you receive from this book depends on your commitment to the daily discipline of reading the Scripture, your willingness to be realistic about attitudes that are negative, and your habits that keep you from living the abundant life in Jesus Christ.

Take Charge of the Change ( Balancing Hormones)
This is a FANTASTIC book. I have looked for almost 10 years for answers as to why I developed migraine headaches. I asked my family doctor, gyn, neurologist. None came with any answers. I just knew there was an answer (and maybe a simple one!) out there to help. Well-here it is. This book explains the whole hormone "mystery." It explains IT ALL and WHAT TO DO! and simply. She also is a Christian. (yipee!) You will be so happy to have found this helpful, enlightening, info.

An incisive treatment of the "watered-down" Gospel
Bailey Smith is known as one of the outstanding Baptist evangelists in the United States. He has previously published a number of insightful and powerful books. His first major book was REAL EVANGELISM. Billy Graham endorsed it with these exact words: "Everyone ought to read this book."

In a day when many evangelicals are toning down the forceful message of God's Word, Bailey Smith "lets the hammer down," as the late Jerry Clower would have put it.

He cries out against what he calls the "lite Gospel" that all too many are preaching. To me it is a must read for every concerned minister and layperson, calling for a declarative return to the basic principles of New Testament Christianity.

Congregational Narratives of Family History and Change
This book describes how a number of Christian and Jewish congregations have experienced and responded to the changes that have taken place in the contemporary American family. In particular, it addresses a number of questions concerned with the possibilities and limits of congregational response to rapid social change. Each essay involves a practical theological case study of a congregation and seeks to articulate the congregation's "family theology" and how those theological convictions are manifest in congregational strategies, programs, and family culture.

Beyond merely describing the congregations, each essay also provides a evaluative perspective on the prophetic appropriateness, moral fruitfulness, and basic adequacy of the congregation's response to a number of contexts and issues surrounding the family. Attention is given to four "markers," or sets of issues throughout the essays. These markers are the congregations' location of families within a broader moral and religious community, provision of emotional skills and symbolic resources to sustain intimate relationships and support the self, socialization of children and adolescents, and relation of historical tradition to issues of contemporary life. The essays uncover a variety of views on these issues both between and within congregations.

The selection of congregations is as diverse as the issues addressed. The essays cover one Jewish congregation, three African-American churches, a Pentecostal megachurch, and a church ministering to a large gay population, in addition to more traditional Baptist, Catholic, and Presbyterian congregations. Many are urban churches facing a host of pressing social issues. The histories and narratives of these congregations are fascinating reading and will provoke much thought as to the meaning of family ministry.

Bringing Theology Down to Everyday Life
Have you ever wondered how a creed could be important to your life? Smith breaks down a document that is terribly difficult to chew through, but so full of riches that it should not be missed. He brings the deep thoughts of the faithful who wrote the creed down to your everyday Christian's level, and shows how they can guide you to a fuller enjoyment of God in your daily life. A wonderful tool for understanding what it means to be a Christian, along with his other book Meet Jesus Again for the First Time.
