For all students and practitioners of Jungian psychology
Daryl Sharp's Digesting Jung: Food For The Journey is the result of the author's pin-pointing key passages in Carl Jung's psychoanalytical writings which have been particularly inspiring and insightful for him down through the years. Digesting Jung provides a new generation of readers with the main ingredients of Jung's work and how the reader can utilize Jung's insights and metaphors to infuse them with an enthusiasm as they search for meaning. Each chapter begins with a Jung citation, which is then fleshed out by Sharp's own commentary which will stimulate the reader to contemplating the unconscious factors that influence us all. Digesting Jung is very highly recommended to all students and practitioners of Jungian psychology.

best I have ever read regarding drawing fundamentals
I have been a professional drawing instructor for over fifteen years and have found this book to be one of the very best for assisting students in grasping the concept of form construction, rendering objects correctly in linear perspective, seeing and building values, and gaining an appreciation of the value of striving for technical skills. Having been educated in an era in which the theory was not to teach "technique" for fear it would stifle a student's creativity (and realizing that this approach was bogus), I can honestly say that Mr. Zappalorti has done his students a great service if his teaching methods are reflected in this text. My sincere congratulation and thanks for a marvelous teaching resource!

Follett's 50,000 Words
This alphabetical listing of 50,000 words shows spelling, hypenation, even where words cannot be split. Ideal for computer users where spell-check doesn't work and for writers (which I am), journalists, editors, composers of business materials, any kind of writing where quality presentation matters. Saves time by looking up accuracy in small, hand-size book that tucks into desk-drawer or pocket. I use it often for double-checking spelling I always forget, like "Does desireable/desirable have the "e" or not? (No} How about knowledgeable/knowledgable? (Yes) Why? Don't ask, just keep writing. And that's why this little gem is so valuable to us writers.

Foster's book is destined to become a classic!
Watch out, "Love You Forever"! Karen Sharp Foster has written and illustrated a tender story--partly about chicks--but REALLY about a mother's love for her child. From the aerial view of a child playing with toys in the tub, to the wide-eyed wonder of the baby chicks upon hatching and seeing the world for the first time, Mrs. Foster's bright and colorful illustrations give life and depth to the touching text. "Good Night My Little Chicks/Buenas noches mis pollitos" is destined to become a children's classic

Here too, is a story of a Christian sharing his view of the gospel. If you are looking for guidance in this area, this is the book for you. I am certain that it will inspire many. However, if you are not interested in Mark's view of the power of God and the Christian viewpoint, I suggest that this is not a book for you. It could be argued that the book is pure propaganda, but since it portrays the events of this man's life, it is also a miraculous story.
The book is short but concise and to the point. The story is well written and the points of argument are well documented and introduced. While I do not agree with most of the content, the purpose of the author is fulfilled and I applaud him.
The basic idea of the book is comparing life with a game. There are rules to follow if you want to win and Mark spells out many of them and leads the reader to discover the rest on their own journey, and find their own coach waiting for them on the field. While my own coaches told me that winning is not important - it is how you play the game that counts, Mark's coach told him that winning is the most important, and that is the fun of the game. Different philosophies and different outlooks on life, lead to different appreciations for this title. Take it as you will. Either way, the joyous result of victory over a disease is a reason worth reading this one.
