This book was great on character developement and exciting!
The excitement and character development that went into this story was excellent. From being an independent reporter trapped in a terrorist situation to being kidnapped the story line makes you want to keep reading to find out what will happen next. Of course the chemistry that exists between Captain Sterling and Cassandra in wonderful to read about too. It was a little strange to read a book on computer disc though it is nice to do something other than work on the computer all the time. I would recommend not only this medium of reading material but most especially this wonderful author. I have every intention or reading much more of her stories!

a great book by a great author
from the back of the book: "They said that Ciaran Cuilean was 'fey'- that he had the touch of the Sidhe on him, and on his lands. And it was true. Elvish blood ran in his veins, and he had been to that other world - that parallel and magical land of Eald, where Arafel, the Lady of Trees, held dominion. But what should have been a blessing was as much a curse - for jealousy and fear grew in the lands of men. Shadows of newly awakened evil swarmed across both landscapes, threatening to bring the clang and reek of war from the warm hearthstones of the mortal keeps to the silvery heart of Ealdwood. And Ciaran knew that he must once again put his humanity aside and reclaim his haunted weapons from the Tree of Swords or see both his worlds fold into darkness!" I first read this book when I was about ten, and it made an indelible impression on me. This is definitely one of the best books C.J. Cherryh has ever written.

A Glimpse Back In Time
This book was a real find for my family who has recently become a summer resident at Virginia Beach. This resort has changed faces so many times over just the last couple of decades, it is a real treat to see the transformations over the last century. The photographs tell the story themselves but author Yarsinke adds much feeling and background with her narrative. This book is a wonderful photographic history for those familier with the Va Coast and those who are simply U.S. history buffs. Our family has put this on our beach house coffee table to always remind us of the background stories of our vacation spot.

Vitamins & Minerals from A to Z
This is a wonderful book that details a medical perspective of differences between Africans and Caucasians and will point you in the right direction toward health. It is fantastic to read a book written by someone who has had the "benefit" of western training and realizes the gaps in "knowledge" in that system.

Dr. Jewel Pookrum does a marvelous job of chronicling chemical reactions, differences that are melanin-related and opens the doors to a deeper understanding of health. This is information that we as a people, MUST grasp before the human genome biological apocalypse is released.

I recommend also any books by Queen Afua and African Holistic Health : Complete Herb Remedy Guide, Disease Treatment, Nutrition, Diet, Wholistic Perspectives, African Herb History, Self Diagnosis by Llaila O. Afrika.
