Creating Privacy in the Garden
Ms. Fogg does a wonderful job of explaining the elements necessary to achieve the sense of privacy in a variety of garden types. Without getting too plant-specific (ie works for everyone)she leads the reader along from basics to refining touches in a knowledgeable and still charming manner. I recommend this book for both weekend gardeners and serious students of garden design. Not only informative but a 'good read.'

Ideal gallery of classic monstrosities
You can never have too many monsters! All of these were originally introduced for the classic D&D game, but can very easily be converted to AD&D standards with a minimum of fuss. Not only do you get classic "Games Workshop" style British artwork, but you also get such wonderful horrors as the Juggernaut, Soul Eater, Shroud Spider, Aquatic Beholder, Death Demon, Sabre Claw, Undead Dragon - about 200 in all! It's the long-lost Fiend Folio of the D&D game... highest recommendation.

Excellent Book
Loved the writing, loved the pictures, loved the clear directions using available ingredients and REALLY loved the food. I'm usually happy with a cookbook if I make two recipes more than once. Do far, I've made all the recipes I've tried repeatedly and have several more selected to sample.

Dieting is fun
I never knew dieting could be so fun and easy. I have tried every diet out there and this is the first one that really works for me. It's amazing how if you change the way the way your mind sees your body you can completely change the way you look and feel about yourself.

Decorating Naturally: White, Cream and Natural Materials in Your Home

This book is a "classic"
Many books like "white on white" or "white and blue" re-used the theme that was wonderfully exposed hire. The argument is the following: "the simple home is about living with ease, space and light...It is simply created by using whites and natural materials as the foundations for each room. Within this framework other colours can then be introduced according to the season and how your mood fluctuates".

Comprehensive, easy to read, good excercises
A great teaching or learning manual for PageMaker! I used this text teaching DTP and PM at a community college. It is well illustrated and has step-by-step instructions. Each lesson has labs that, if completed, will make you proficient in PM. The only drawback to the book is the changes to PM6.5. While the supplement covers the changes, some of the excercises cannot be completed as directed because they do not account for the changes. (for instance, the grid manager in PM6.5 is set up differently). PM6.5 Plus (newest release) has some additional features (such as a tool bar) that may require an additional supplement but can be figured out easily enough until it's available. Overall, a good, comprehensive book for beginners or intermediates.

Diana, Princess of Wales
Published in Hardcover by Smithmark Publishing (1993)
Author: Julia Delano
Amazon base price: $102.00
Used price: $12.95
Collectible price: $37.06
Average review score:

A beautiful story told in words and pictures.
This book has dazzling pictures of Diana's life from her years as a toddler through the first thirty-three years of her life. There is a black and white picture of Lady Georgianna Spencer who was the daughter of the first Earl Spencer. Georgianna Spencer married the Duke of Devonshire and, also, had a much publiclized affair with the then Prince of Wales, later George IV. There is also a black and white picture of Diana's parents on their wedding day.

There was no way to foretell that Diana would mature into the glamorous lady which she was when the book ends. The books takes us through the divorce of Diana's parents, her school years, her years as a nanny, her engagement to Prince Charles, her marriage to Prince Charles, her years as a leader of style, her public roles, her public roles in charity and the arts, her role as a working princess on state and formal ocassions, and her role of a devoted mother.

Perhaps, it was her role as a Mother which she cherished the most. She broke with the royal tradition in many ways as far as raising her children was concerned. Prince Charles would say to her, "Why don't you act more like Fergie." When she did, he would become angry, and he would tell her to stop being silly.

Diana, Princess of Wales, was a caring person all of her life. As a young girl, she visited nursing homes and hospitals. She always exhibited the gentle, common touch in talking with the patients when she was a teenager.

This book is filled over one hundred pictures of Princess Diana. Ms. Delano in DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES has a spectacular array of pictures of the world's favorite princess. Each phase of her life is captured in dazzling pictures in addition to a story to accompany each.

This is a hardcover edition. 96 pages. 91/2"x13"
