A Wonderful Primer about Contemporary Crystal Skulls!
I have been working with crystal skulls for two years now. During that time, I've read a lot of books, many of them excellent, but primarily with strong emphasis on the ancient skulls. Marion has done a wonderful job introducing readers to the amazing contributions of contemporary skulls. She shares information about selecting, cleansing, dedicating, becoming acquainted and working with skulls that come into one's keeping. I recommend this book for anyone who is curious about this crystal skull phenomenon. An excellent introduction for new keepers, and a great resource for those of us who have been working with contemporary skulls for years. I wish this book had been available a few years back when I started my own crystal skull journey!

YES, finally a book about contemporary stone skulls
Marion has done it - plain and simple. Her words are clear, filled with loving admiration and knowledge for her subjects - contemporary carved stone skulls. There are books and countless websites about the ancient and old skulls, but there has been so little shared about the new skulls... until now. Marion covers ths subject very well - sharing good basic information and a lot of personal experiences and stories that help the reader connect with and understand the magic and mystery of the stone skulls. All too often contemporary skulls are dismissed in comparison to the ancient skulls, but those of us that have worked with the contemporary skulls recognize their power and presence. It's nice to see this recognitioned mirrored to us through Marion's work. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn more about contemporary stone skulls. If I could have given the work 10 stars, I would have without reservation.

A good, engaging read
This book was quite good. I got it used for 20 cents, so it was definetely worth the price! It's one of Marion Zimmer Bradley's older works, and I seem to find them better than her newer ones. Dark Satanic is a dark-fantasy/occult horror story that follows pretty much the usual formula, however, the author tells the tale extremely well, making the characters very involving and I could feel their descents into maddness. It was quite chilling at times, and an easy read--not in that it was quick and light, but it was fast-paced and I read it straight through without being bored once. I am a big fan of Marion Zimmer Bradley, but I haven't really liked what I've read of her recent occult-type novels (Ghostlight was decent but not captivating, and Witchlight was dumb and boring). However, if this is what her 1970s period horror writing was like, I'll certainly try a few others

Cute!
The scrapes which Miss Pym and Deborah get into are quite funny, and I even found myself chuckling quietly to myself on occasion. I loved the two stories going on at once during the book, the first being Deborah's romance, and the second, Miss Pym's love of her late employer's brother.

interesting!
This was an interesting book which explains much more than who did what. It takes the time to discuss each individual so that you may better understand the phenomenon of the trials as a whole. It helps you understand how a few bored, dowarless girls could manipulate an entire town.

Thoughtful and entertaining!
A thoughtful, entertaining book that tells how one spunky girl, with a too-permissive mother, tries and fails to create a stable home and family for herself from scratch. Meanwhile, her half-Abenaki friend, Emile, is rebelling against too much discipline. Each finds a solution that is true-to-life and believable for young readers.

Dreams Unleashed
For many years Dr. Marion Woodman has been spell-binding audiences the world over with her public talks. I was fortunate to hear one of her lectures at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto, where she captivated her audience for more than two hours past her allocated speaking time; one could hear a pin drop in the auditorium! In Dreams: Language of The Soul, she maintains that special ability, offering a somtimes chilling insight into the realm of our dreaming state and it's importance in our day to day lives. Never one to resort to a 'clinical' style of writing or speaking, she presents her topic clearly without using psychological jargon which leaves one running for the dictionary. 'Dreams' explores the connection between our dreaming state, which she believes to be our subconscious trying to communicate urgent information to the conscious mind, and the overall quality of our lives. She clearly explores two paths and their consequences; firstly, ignoring the messages of our dreams and secondly, utilizing our dream state communication to help build solid mental foundations, free from the anxiety and stress ridden existence which many people call 'life'. If you have never read any of Dr. Woodman's books or listened to her audio tape lectures and talks, this is the best starting point to acquaint your self with a truly remarkable analyst.

Essential reading for anyone interested in health
An essential read for anyone interested in their own health, or the health of others. Cleverly written to ensure that all levels of readers from novices to medical experts will enhance their knowledge and understanding of how the body fights and recovers from disease. It covers the basic functioning of the immune system and leads on to discussing leading edge issues such as the fight against AIDS, cancer and the role of vaccines and vaccinations. I thoroughly enjoyed, and benefited from reading this book, and whole-heartedly recommend it to others.
