Affenpinschers
As a new "Affen" person this is a wonderful resource to track pedigres. It was a Christmas gift and I cant imagine being without it! It is spendy, but I can imagine the work that went into publishing this work.

Affenpinscher Champions, 1968 - 1998
A wonderfully explicit book. I can track the ancestors of my dogs and see exactly what their performace records have been. It's invaluable. I hope they will provide upgrades.

The Ecologist's Bible of Periphyton
I have used this book so much during my MSc Project on Algal Communities, that it became my personal bible for all aspects of benthic algal ecology. It's a very comprehensive book, that is both interesting and relevant right from the start till the very end. All topics are well designed and illustrated and all in all it is very nice to read - not only for Ecologists like me.

The Ecologist's Bible for Periphyton
I used that book so much during the writing up of my MSc thesis that it became my personal bible for all periphyton related issues. I've never seen so much excelent and relevant information on this topic in just one book. The figures are well placed, and all in all it's very nice to read (not only for Algal Ecologists like me).

A wonderful addition to your child's library!
I loved this book as a child. I am now 28 and still have my original book. When I needed a gift for a friend's child this is the book that I thought of. I was so happy to see that it is still in print. I would highly recommend this book!

A delightful riddle for young readers
My children were delighted to read this book. It is wonderfully written and nicely illustrated. The riddle for each alphabet animal makes sense and entice the children to guess the name of the animal. We love this book.

Creative ways to prepare asparagus - excellent
I have owned this book since the second annual Asparagus Festival when I volunteered at a booth in Asparagus Alley. I am constantly being asked for recipes I make from the book. As a parent, it is also nice to have recipes for asparagus that my son will request.

An excellent book full of unusual and useful recipes.
This book is really a value for its small size and small price. It was originally sold at the Stockton Asparagus Festival. The book contains many recipies from the Festival's Asparagus Food Alley as well as past winners in the ongoing recipe contast. Recipes range from soups, through main dishes, and on to breads and desserts. I highly recommend it for personal use or a small gift to the cook who has everything. If only it were 100 pages longer...I do love asparagus!!

I Went Searching for this Childhood Favorite
This tale of Papa Bear's prideful camping advice that ALWAYS turns out wrong is a classic. I LOVED this book when I was young, and indeed I still do! I never mind reading it to my 3 year old daughter. We quote the line "Your stew is stewing well, but doesn't it have a funny smell?" to each other as an inside joke.

The Bear Scouts leave on a camping adventure, but at the last minute Papa Bear insists on going to "help out". His son and the other scouts always use their Bear Scout Guide, and always have success. But Dad ties his own knot which fails, makes stew of roots that tastes awful but then gladly devours the fish the scouts catch, and so forth. The rhyme is fun and memorable, the illustrations are captivating, and I would recommend it to anyone!

A Crowd Pleaser for Berenstain Bear Fans
Your child will love Papa Bear's misadventures as he attempts to teach the Bear Scouts the "correct" way to conquer the out-of-doors. Luckily, the Bear Scouts also have their bear scout manual along.

The illustrations (especially of Papa Bear "experiencing" the outdoors) and rhyming words will pull in your preschool or early school age child, and they will request this book again and again. This is a Berenstain Bear classic!

A Robot's Adventure
This book captured my son's imagination and mine too as he read it out loud to me as part of a reading assignment for school. The excitement and the giggles it brought out of my son were priceless. I highly recommend the book for any child whose parent wants them to explore the incredibly fun and exciting world of imagination.

I LOVED THIS BOOK
I loved this book because it was full of my favrite nursey stories, like The Three Bears, The Little Red Hen, and Th Gingerbread Man. I loved this book and i think you will too.

The Berenstain Bear's Nursery Tales
This is one of my favorite Berenstain Bears' book even though it does not specifically involve the Bear Family. On the second page of the book is a picture of Mama Bear sitting on a rocking chair, sewing, and beside her lying on the bed next to the fireplace is Papa Bear and Small Bear. Papa Bear is busy reading bedtime stories to Small Bear. The three nursery tales are : "The Three Bears", "The Little Red Hen" and "The Gingerbread Man." Each tale is beautifully illustrated, well-told and humourous. Some of my favorite scenes are when Baby Bear discovers Goldilocks sleeping in his bed, the looks on the duck's, cat's and pig's faces as they say "Not I" whenever the little red hen asks for their help, and the way the little old woman, the little old man, the long-eared rabbit and the little brown bear chase after the gingerbread man while he sings "Run, run as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!" On the very last page of the book is a picture of Mama Bear leaving the room with her sewing in one hand and a candle in the other, as both Papa Bear and Small Bear have fallen asleep next to the warm glow of the fireplace.
