This book has a lot of neat stuff from 1973 to 1998
Ithink this book is pretty neat and I got it for Christmas and I started reading it right away. In the wedding album though, you forgot to mention Victor and Ashley's marriage and Jack and Nikki's marriage. Why was that?

The absolute authority on the history of Y & R.
An avid fan since the beginning, I have truly enjoyed going down memory lane and filling in the blanks of storylines long forgotten. This book covers every detail and depth of the characters and their development. Truly a must-have for anyone who has grown to love the people of Genoa City.

A family favorite; read every year as part of our tradition.
A real treat to read to my kids each Christmas, as my mother read to me and my 11 siblings! A wholesome book that really emphasizes the 'giving is more important than receiving' theory. I highly recommend this to folks that celebrate Christmas!

For anyone with children in their life!!
As an educator with more than 15 years experience in the field and I have found this book to be one of the most effective and comprehensive tools for not only educators but for parents as well! The authors share their first hand knowledge, they have been there for the challenges and have sought out ways to help each child reach their potential. They then present what they have learned and guide us, the reader, through the difficulties in identifying and understanding a child with challenging behaviors. The clear day to day strategies will greatly help you and your child create and environment where success is possible!!

Attention Children's Librarians
As a children's librarian in a public library, I am always looking for fun and interesting flannel board stories. Cooking Up a Story has many wonderful stories with very attractive patterns. The art is much better than most flannel board sources, in my experience. Also included are detailed instructions for story related puppets and recipes. This book has been so useful, I can't wait to order Super Story Telling by Carol Catron and Barbara Parks also.

One of the best books I've ever read.
This is a great book for teenagers and deals with a lot of issues teens face today. It's about a 14 year old boy who has no friends and spends most of his time photographing birds until he meets Mitzi, a streetwise girl who makes him feel wanted amidst all the chaos at home, his alcoholic mother, his hard working father, and his gay brother Cameron. This book is beautifully well written and I couldn't put it down.

The Party Boat Murders
This book was the best thing I have ever read. It was so good that I was up till 11 o'clock on a school night finishing it. The reason I liked it so much is because it gave such good description and it told what she was thinking so vividly. I dont think I will every read another book this good in my life. If you read this book you wont be able to put it down till your done. I would recomed this book if u like exciting mysteries.

A Must-Have For Fans of Sutcliff's Work
The editor's description above gives a concise summary of this book, so I will just offer a reader's impression. Adapted from Barbara Talcroft's graduate thesis, her work is a perfect balance of organized scholarly research, and very entertaining reading. She focuses her study on 3 major themes that run throught Sutcliff's work, set in early Britain: the Sacrificial King, the Maimed King, and the worship of the Goddess. She examines only Sutcliff's novels aimed at young adults, as well as the incomparable 'Sword at Sunset' (in my opinion, the best Arthurian novel ever written). Talcroft's concise analysis and observations about these themes, and how they play out in the characters and storylines, offer a very valuable supplement to Sutcliff's novels.

I agreed completely with Talcroft's appreciation of Rosemary Sutcliff as a writer whose brilliance goes far beyond that of simply a novelist of historical fiction. She illuminates the major influences on Sutcliff's work, notably the classic study of ancient religion "The Golden Bough", and the works of Rudyard Kipling, Sutcliff's favorite writer. Her argument that Sutcliff's genius lies not only in her masterful skills as a writer, but in her talent for helping young adults to appreciate history and their own roots in ancient cultures, is a fine completion to this valuable book.

Rosemary Sutcliff herself reported that she enjoyed this book enormously, noting that she gained fresh insights into her novels, from Talcroft's observations and analysis. So did I, and so will any of Sutcliff's many fans. This book was worth every penny.

A great book for learning and implementing financial plans
This book starts off with the basics but then goes into the details of each subject. It goes well beyond the other books which usually say to do or not do something but does not go into the details of why. I hightly recommended this book.

Great Birthday Party or Boredom resource book!
I've used this book a lot! We've come up with great birthday party activities from this-- or rainy-day boredom busters. One 4-yr-old child who had just had a $400 chuck-e-cheese birthday asked if she could have her party in my back yard next year! The obstacle course suggestions alone are worth buying this book. This book will educate you to look at your recycables in a new way. After reading this-- my own ideas flourished as well. In fact, every item in your house will start to reveal it's play possibilities to you. Anyone who has watched a kid play with a cardboard box or tube for hours will appreciate this book. Some of the things we have made from recyclables and found objects have been played with more than most other toys in our house.
