This book is...OK, but it's not what I expected. It's rather elementary, both in content, length and especially in presentation. It looks and feels like a short children's book, and the binding is that of either a child's book or a small cookbook. With three areas of her life and work mentioned in the title, it barely skims the surface of any of them. There must be better books on Tipper Gore out there somewhere.

What a shock my wife and I had when we discovered that my 11 year old daughter had checked this book out from her middle school library. We are disgusted from the contents of this book, most notably because of the cavalier manner in which the author condones a sexual relationship between a 16 year old girl and a 32 year old man. Since when did statuatory rape make for romance material for children? This book should never have been published, and the author and publishers should be ashamed of themselves. Not only should children avoid this book, but so should most adults.

This book does not contain any of the answers to the questions. It has very good high level questions however unless the person buying the book is absolutly certain that they know all the answers they can not check their answers in the book. The publisher refuses to sell or give out the answers to any book not bought directly from them in large quanities.
