bark, bark, bark
a couple of books ago two new characters were introduced: Nozomu Nikaido and Ibuki Yagami. Well, imn this book we are introduced to another character: Asuna Kujo. Asuna Kujo is a pretty, rich, and shy girl who has been arranged a maariage with none other than Shun Mitaka. The problem is that she loves dogs, she owns six of them, and Mitaka hates dogs. Funny stuff. However, this book, although very funnt, is quite sad also. Godai and Kyoko have another falling out, and Kyoko feels like she has lost Godai's affection. This of course is due to yet another misunderstanding. This book really pulls on the heart strings. Another thing, Ikuko makes a cameo in this book, and what acutie she has become. Also this book is 280 pages not what amazon says

Best Manga storytelling ever??
I heard from the grapvine that Maison Ikkoku was one of the greatest love stories ever written! I wasn't really into that kind of manga until I bought MI Dogged Pursuit paperback just for the heck of it. The whole story revolves around a college boy (Godai) trying to find a real job, and at the same time win the affections of his beautiful manager Kyoko. The most fascinating part of MI though is the minor characters that come betweem Godai and Kyoko, which results to probably the funniest and heartwarming story I have ever read! Manga or any other literature! Takahashi scores huge on this series!!

I laughed, I cried, I read it a million times
The latest issue of the Wackiest love story ever, Reveals Godais situation, after the company that was supposed to set him up for life, set him up for a fall as the company goes bankrupt and he has to work part time just to make ends meet. The story really kicks into gear when Shuns uncle comes to him (Sparkling smile and aggressive dispositon) to offer him a chance to finallys settle down and get married. Naturally, since Shun is in love with Kyoko, and the purposed fiance is a lover of dogs, he balks. Later he finds a way to use the forced engagement to use to his advantage and pressure Kyoko into finally seriously considering marrying him. Soon everyone is chasing everyone else, Kyoko is chasing Shun and Godai, The Dog girl is chasing Shun and Kyoko, Godai is, as always chasing Kyoko, and Yagami and Kouzue are still chasing Godai. Romantic misunderstandings and mishaps are the flavor of the day in this issue. Yet somewhere in all that wackiness, a beautiful, complex, and realistic love story is being told. This issue has some of the series most dramatically tense moments. By the end of the Story, No one is the same. Kyoko and Godai Grow ever closer, and you'll find that this is one of those stories, that despite the unusual format, you'll read and enjoy a million times.

Whee! I just got this yesterday
This is a nice resource for Tull fans -- most of whom probably already have it, but mine just arrived yesterday.

Anyway, for anyone who doesn't already know it, this volume collects all of the lyrics from Tull's and Ian Anderson's official releases from _This Was_ in 1968 to _Roots to Branches_ in 1995.

The first twenty or thirty pages consist of Ian Anderson himself providing a retrospective/commentary on the various releases, and on the stages of Tull's long and varied career. These are culled from a couple of talks with Anderson and they're clearly transcriptions of oral interviews, with all the limitations thereby implied. (For example, the word "tempo" is consistently transcribed as "temper".) They're pretty informative, though, and at any rate I like the transcriptions since I enjoy listening to Anderson talk.

The lyrics themselves will be most useful for those albums/CDs with which the words aren't already included in the liner notes, but there are also a handful of helpful footnotes scattered throughout. (Nothing interpretive; just stuff like the actual name of the "Winged Isle" and the significance of "Beltane," items probably already familiar to longtime Tull fans but perhaps not to the band's newer audience.)

There are also a dozen-odd pages of photos, some of which had never been published before this. (There's a list at the back of the book telling who's in them and when they were taken. Incidentally, one allegedly from "1974" -- Anderson on a motorcycle -- appears to be misdated; it looks to be from a decade later. I assume "1974" is a typo for "1984".)

Some customers may also want to know that Anderson donates all his royalties from the sales of this book to a fund for the preservation of wild cats. I'm delighted to have contributed to such a cause and I'd have bought the book sooner if I'd known.

Il mondo "testuale" dei Jethro Tull
Chiunque avesse intenzione di scoprire qualcosa di veramente entusiasmante dovrebbe acquistare questo libro in cui sono raccolte tutte le emozioni e le sensazioni scritte da chi mi fa emozionare ogni volta che ascolto le sue parole. Ian Anderson, geniale nei suoi testi come nella sua musica, vi porta in un mondo fantastico con argomentazioni varie e mai noiosamente ripetitive. La musica dei Jethro Tull deve essere ascoltata ma anche...letta!E vi assicuro che per chi come me riesce anche a suonarla l'emozione più bella è quella di addentrarsi in ogni sua sfaccettatura. Vi consiglio di acquistare questo libro che è cultura...non solo musicale. Io devo ancora acquistarlo perchè in Italia non si trova!!!Ma non mancherò di accaparrarmene una copia quanto prima,a costo di farla arrivare dall'America. Per i Jethro Tull...questo ed altro! W la musica (quella buona) e W chi ti infonde lo spirito per volerla suonare, fino in fondo.

Helpful for non-English mothertongue Tull fans
For anybody bothering around with the lyrics one does not understand or possibly even misunderstand, this book is essential. Now I have wider access to the meaning of the texts sung by Tull.

For GH fans old and new alike
This book has a lot of the show history along with trivia questions. Yes, the answers are included *grin*. If you are a long time viewer, you will enjoy going back over the highlights thru the years. The trivia questions are fun to test your knowledge of the soap.

For new viewers, this is a great way to catch up on past story of your favorite characters. See why Luke and Cassadines have fueded. Learn about Laura and her mother Leslie. There are several pictures from the show, but be aware, they are black and white.

I am the list owner of a GH fan group and I use this book to give weekly questions to the list. The members love seeing who will send in the correct answer first. Some who have viewed for many years have been stumped on occassion.

If GH is your show, this book is a must. It would make a really nice gift for someone you know who is a fan, too.

General Hospitol
I heard of that abc T. V. show called, "General Hospitol."

It is a book called The Official General Hospitol Trivia Book from the hit abc T. V. show like All My Childeren & Who Wants To Be A Millionaire my favorite T. V. shows.

I will love General Hospitol that the book will remind you of the book Son of Black Beauty by author Phillis Briggs like Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen's videos Billboard Dad, How The West Was Fun, The Case of the Logical I Ranch & The Case of the Hotel Who Done it the ones that would be cool.

I'll love that book.

General Hospital Official Trivia Book: Best GH Book Out!
Being the "expert" GH fan, I will have to say that this is THE VERY BEST GH Book out there! It contains interesting factoids, trivia you may have never even know (I know I didn't) and so much more! This is a MUST HAVE for any GH fan out there... a first time watcher or people who have watched GH since day one! Hurry out and buy it today!

Excellent Commentary in the footsteps of Vatican II
This is an excellent commentary and translation of the 1983 Code of Canon Law. Prepared under the auspices of the Canon Law Society of Great Britain and Ireland, it contains all the canons of the 1983 Code in a fresh English translation (approved by eight Bishops' Conferences worldwide) and a canon-by-canon commentary with footnotes and cross-references. The translation is accurate and clear, and the commentary is good, easy to understand and practical.

This volume is not overly verbose, unlike some commentaries, yet it packs in a lot of material to help even the lay-reader understand and apply the canon in his/her life/situation. It is a highly practical and pastoral commentary, that seeks to help the reader understand the canons in the light of the tradition of the Catholic Church enunciated through the teachings of Vatican II. Strong theology and ecclesiology permeates through the entire commentary, and in my opinion, it does a far better job than other American commentaries I have read. A fresh approach of this commentary is its views of canon laws as guides on the path to salvation, rather than as the ecclesiastical counterpart to civil laws aimed at restricting freedom.

Pope John Paul II described the 1983 Code as "the final document of Vatican II." This commentary can be described as permeating with the authentic teachings and thoughts of Vatican II. You need not agree with all the commentaries of the canons, but it has done an overall excellent job with providing a scholarly and faithful interpretation of this venerable tradition of the Catholic Church called Canon Law.

Pastoral and Faithful
This commentary of the Canon Law Society of Great Britain and Ireland reminds me of the Homeletic and Pastoral Review -- a magazine which strives to be simultaneously orthodox, pastoral and accessible to the average reader. In my opinion, this commentary is a success for these reasons.

As a canonist who does freelance writing on the side for a variety of popular Catholic publications, and who often finds himself teaching canon law to non-canonists, this is the commentary I most often cite when doing so. Again, because it is orthodox, pastoral and written at a level most Catholics can understand. Its larger print layout only facilitates the ease with which one reads it. For those seeking a commentary for reference purposes, this is the way to go. It is very much like the family Bible one keeps on one's bookshelf.

Pastoral and Scholarly
This is a Commentary on the revised Code of Canon Law, which was promulgated by the Roman Catholic Church in 1983. This particular Commentary is a joint endeavor by the Canon Law Society of Great Britain and Ireland, and the Canadian Canon Law Society. The writers are some of the finest canonists in the English speaking world. Their approach is both pastoral and scholarly. That is, every commentator makes an educated and obvious effort to provide practical answers to contemporary problems of the Christian Faithful today. This is not the first Commentary on the revised Code, but that has its advantage. It includes the benefit of twelve years of public reaction to the Code, once it was enacted to succeed the previous Code of 1917. The word "Catholic" means universal. To provide an organized and comprehensive Commentary on such a Code is a work of staggering proportion. These professional and learned Societies have completed this work and made a tremendous contribution to Catholic Church intellect.

Adele Tinning changed my life
I was luckily led to Adele Tinning following the passing of my boyfriend, Alvin Lorenzo. She made it possible for me to speak to him on his birthday (his 26th) . Adele knew nothing at the time of who I wished to speak with or any of the particulars. Alvin came through loud and clear, a unbelievable experience that moved her friend Helen to tears- I am still so thankful. I remained friends with Adele until her passing a few short years later. This woman was so giving, never asked for money, she only gave and gave to others. I miss her very much, she was so special. I am so thankful that I was able to find her book here (she used to give them to people without charge), I loaned mine out a while back, never to see it again. Thank God.

God's Way of Life
(...)The book is so significant in the simplicity of language, straight forward message and can be opened at any page at any time in your life for a message to be given to you. I have given away many copies of her book and whenever I need the comfort of advice and clearness of thought, I get my copy of God's Way of Life and randomly open it's worn pages to the message I need for that moment. It has never failed me and I am sure it will not fail you. (...) Her book should be shared with others.

I grew up knowing Adele
I have know Mrs. Tinning since I was 8 years old, I was lucky enough to sit at her white table and talk to the spirts and also see some one I love be healed, she was a wonderful women, with the bluest clear eyes I have ever seen. I am now 46 years old, and still keep going back to her books.

Keep on a Shelf Away from Children!
wo side effects from reading "Inside the Works" are blindness, resulting from the weird font, and nausea, resulting from horror so hardcore that you want to wash your hands after putting the book down. Edward Lee along with Tom Piccirilli and Gerard Daniel Houarner, are the writers featured in this "3-way collection of hard core horror". All three have a kind of genius for writing almost pornographic horror that is intense, gut-wrenching, and scary, yet strangely compelling. Although these stories are like skinny dipping in a pool of blood and other bodily fluids, I kept getting the sensation that I was reading something NEW and FRESH. Edward Lee's novella The Pig was drenched in torture and mutilation but amazingly enough these elements were used in service of a great story rather than the other way around! Also worthy of mention i! s that many of the situations in the story had me laughing out loud! Counterbalancing Lee is Tom Piccirilli, whose five short stories were grim little journeys into hellish back alleys of New York. At this time, I have yet to read all of Gerard Daniel Houarner's contribution but I will soon! If he's as good as the company he keeps than I am in for a ride!

Grotesque! Horrible! I loved it!
The Pig was one of the most disgusting stories ever. Buy it. The "Plugger" scene in this story is unmatched to date.

Amazing (not so) Little Book!
This book is soooooooo cool! I don't exactly own it (i'm borrowiong it from my best friend), I think I can give a pretty basic idea of whats happenig(based off the TV shows). Well, after Inuyasha pushes Kagome through the well that seperates her world from Inuyasha's, she goes back(of course, cuz they can't continue the series without Kagome)! Then they find naraku and they find out all about him and how he came to be and all that. Then they find out that Kikyo is still alive(god forbid) and Inuyasha goes and kisses her in front of Kagome and Kagome gets mad and Inuyasha gets mad and they all get mad and then Inuyasha says he really did have feeling for her, but she's asleep! ASLEEP!!!!!! There are nice sound FX, though, to make up for the [disappointing] ending (so it's only [disappointing] in my eyes...)!

THE BIGGEST INU-YASHA FAN EVER!
To me Inu-yasha is the best cartoon and comic book series. In this book Kikyo comes back to take care of some unfinished business to do... wonder what happens... sorry don't want to spoil it for others, just read it you'll love it.And for the people who love this book watch the cartoon series on DVD ...

Wow! Thus was a great book. It was easy to read and has a great plot. The drawings are exquisitetly done. The emotion in the story realates well to real life.

For The Fans
This is just a fun trivia book for fans of ALL MY CHILDREN. It has a lot of facts, some you might know, some you might not. A lot of quizzes, even one for the famous Erica Kane! While its not as comprehensive as the 1994 ALL MY CHILDREN coffee table book, it still has loads of facts and fun for trivia and AMC fans alike. It's pretty cheap too so its worth it if you want to know more about AMC or just enjoy trivia books.

This book looks like Tuck Everlasting, Tuck Para Siempre a spanish book of Tuck Everlasting, Owls in the Family, Black Beauty, Rodeo Bloopers 1. the video, Toby Keith's album Pull My Chain & Clay Walker's album If I Could Make A Living. In 2000 I made videos of William's America's Funniest Home Videos 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 which is the Tenth Year Anniversary, 11 which is the tenth year anniversary, Special Edition of Bareback Riding, Calf Roping & Steer Wrestling the three rodeo events on video & All My Children/Roping Funnies the graduation of William's Funniest Videos 13 and someday I will put them in the store so people will by mine and order them on the website ...and they will love them ...My favorite T. V. shows on abc are All My Children, General Hospital & Who Wants To Be A Millionaire my favorite T. V. shows on abc. Absolutely Fabulous!!
As a 20+ year fan of All My Children, this book not only brought back great memories of my years in Pine Valley, but let me in some stuff I did not get to see, because I was too young.This is a MUST HAVE for an All My Children fan, old or new!!

Kodachi comes back!
I won't lie--Kodachi, Ranma-chan, and Shampoo are my favorite characters. Now, while Shampoo doesn't show up in this volume, the other two do. Seeing Ranma try to be both Romeo and Juliet is hilarious! And Akane and Ranma-kun (as well as Ranma-chan and Kuno) finally kiss, but there is a misconception...Finally, everyone's favorite martial arts rhythmic gymnast comes back, and she has a whole bunch of surprises just waiting for Ranma!

Don't miss this book! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is cause I don't care for the Romeo and Juliet half of the book, but it might be your thing!

Gosunkugi's Back! Romeo and Juliet in Ranma!
Yay!^^ A Romeo and Juliet play happens in Ranma! *thinks those seem to happen in every series*....But it is REALLY GOOD! Also, Gosunkugi is back in it, and so is Kodachi! Yup, this is another great Ranma 1/2 Volume! Ranma 1/2 Volume 7 rocks, and I highly reccomend it!

A really good comic book!
This was a great book and I really enjoyed reading it. It had a lot of action and comedy. I loved it a lot. You should buy it.
