This book can save you thousands of dollars
If you have the patience to go through a loved ones mail, keep track of all the phone calls and paper work, this book is for you. Instead of paying an attorney thousands of dollars to do "paperwork" this book will guide you through the tedious probate process. Even if you make a mistake, the court will let you know what was incorrect. (The courts paralegal may even assist you at no charge.) You can then go back to the book and correct the error and resubmit your paperwork. Think about it... you will have to provide an attorney with the loved ones documents and then the attorney gets paid to fill in the blanks. But if YOU file for probate, you can be fully in charge, keep track of information and keep the money the attorney probably has a paralegal prepare. This book is easy to follow and well worth the investment. This book can not be rated high enough.

Absolutely indespensable book
Even if your educational background is in labor law, this book is vital for understanding the complex procedures of the National Labor Relations Board. Practicing before the NLRB is a very unique experience and you will quickly find the agency has its own way of doing things. I am a lawyer and I use this book every single time I represent a client in any kind of NLRB proceeding. It's expensive, but well worth every penny (besides, it's tax-deductible as a business expense).

Wonderful passionate poems from a self opinonated man
John Laws is, I gather, now a radical anti PC radio announcer in Australia. I read his two books of poetry years ago and would love to have copies of them but they are not available in Australia. He has new books entitled John Laws Book of uncommon sense and similar available 1997 in Australia

Excellent Guide to International Sales
Jim Klotz has written an outstanding book on international sales contracts. The book clearly discusses all contractual aspects involved in an international sale of goods, from trade, pricing, delivery and payment terms to the relevant Rules (ICC, CISG, etc.). Most impressively, the book contains a sample of almost every contract clause and explains what it does for (or to) both buyer and seller. While written by an international lawyer for lawyers, the lay reader will find the book extremely useful in understanding how to contract with foreign buyers or sellers. I highly recommend Klotz's International Sales Agreements.

Nuremberg Laws
Ingeborg Hecht. Invisible Walls and To Remember is to Heal. Translated from the German by John Brownjohn and by John A. Broadwin. Evanston: Northwestern University Press, 1999.

Most people have heard about Hitler's Nuremberg Laws. But few are aware of their actual significance. Ingeborg Hecht's book Invisible Walls and To Remember is to Heal shows in detail the impact of the laws on the everyday life of her family, her Jewish father who got divorced before the laws were promulgated, her Aryan mother, and her brother and herself, the half-Jews. History comes alive in her book: The exact wording of a legal passage (given with its date) is followed by the descriptions of the results of these orders. But there are also glimpses of human compassion, the revolt against dehumanization. And at the end, she does not shy away from looking critically at the reparation efforts by the new German Federal Republic. The importance of Ingeborg Hecht's book is also shown in its second half which gathers responses to the first half which was published by itself a few years before this new edition.

Excellent Introductory to Business Law
Professor J. Bagby is a business law professor in Penn State. This book is full of up-to-date and interesting examples and cases that illustrate the major concepts and rules of law. Like other business law textbooks, this is quite a heavy book and the contents are quite intense. No matter whether you are purchasing this book for a class, or read it as a reference, this is a good book to get.
