Awesome plot and I have never read anything like i; well, except of course, the Harry Potter Series which is 1000 times better than this but that's besides the point. However, overall it is a good read.

a good lead into living with nt 4 in the workplace
I like the the combo of necessary theory with enough real life examples to really use it. I hate those books that are all recipes or others who want to get just technical. Ofter the latter ones , give examples that make the theory even more opaque. Real life situations are often very complex. One needs a lot of theory to really figure things out

<P>A must read for NT4 Administrators who want to learn!

After wading through many different NT 4.0 Administrator Bibles, I found this book to be an excellent read. Having not had previous experience supporting an NT environment of any kind, I was looking for some serious help to get up to speed. Well this book did it.

My copy of this book now sports many little "sticky" markers and is wonderfully colored with highlighted and underlined notes. The only "bible" that I've read completely.

This book is well written, easy to follow and does not need to be read in sequential order. I jumped from chapter to chapter and still found the information useful. I have now jumped from "scared" to try it, to "hey let's dive in mode." It's a wonderful feeling when you can get information from a book and feel confident to stride forth into the strange and unknown.

I found an acronym that was new to me, and told the publisher. The next thing I knew, I received a surprise e-mail from the author explaining the acronym with examples. So how many authors do you know that will take the time to answer your questions?

Really nice book for teenagers (and their parents)
If you liked this book, also try "The Healing Journey" series of self help journals by Phil Rich. The first two -- "The Healing Journey" and "The Healing Journey for Couples", are journaling books written to help people learn how to journal and what to journal about. The others in the series focus on specific life issues.

A Masterpiece!
The book showed the though challenges in a teenagers life and how to deal with competition, people, peer pressure, and more. Pages filled with cartoons, quotes, and pictures. Great for any teen that wants to be sucessful in life.

And Those Left Behind
Published in Paperback by Xlibris Corporation (2000)
Author: Sean Ramage
Amazon base price: $12.00
Average review score:

For the Romantic in You
Opening with Mary's funeral, And Those Left Behind delves into the depths of Steven's grief as he dedicates his life to honoring his wife's memory and the life they'd began together. As Steven dedicates his life to making the list of dreams they made together come true and raising their three daughters, he struggles with his emotions as he gets to know Ellen, a woman who works at the bed and breakfast he buys. And Those Left Behind is a wonderful story to curl up in your favorite chair with a glass of your favorite wine and spend an evening transported to the Tennessee mountains while losing yourself in the romance of the enduring commitment and love Sean Ramage brings so to life in Steven and Steven's memories of Mary. It's a story that will touch the romantic in you even if you think you don't have a romantic bone in your body and possibly even make you appreciate your time with those you love just a little more than when you picked it up.

Strong & heartfelt storytelling
The description of this book above does not do it justice. While on the surface it is the story of Steven, Ellen, and their respective families, the book is so much more. It is the story of a man picking up the pieces of his life and learning to live without the woman he loves. It is the story of commitment, to your spouse and your children. The author fills the book with scenes and moments that you feel could only have come from real life. There are several scenes that really come to life...Steven and Ellen at the carnival, exploring their feelings about each other for the first time, for example. "And Those Left Behind" reminds me of some of the best works by Nicholas Sparks ("A Walk To Remember"), Richard Paul Evans ("The Christmas Box"), and Elizabeth Berg ("Open House"). If you like any of these authors, you'll love "And Those Left Behind".

Cainite Heresy (Year of the Reckoning Series)

Amazing
This book uses a lot of real information from the period. Being interested in real religious studies, I can vouce that many of the religious heresies listed were historically real. I own some of the religious texts this book makes reference too. It's grasp of the gnostic movements and their many Dark Ages spawns is amazing.

The Merits/Flaws and fictional heresies in this book are equally excellent. This book adds a mature, dark feel for an already bleak game.

It is one of the best mood books ever released under the White Wolf/Black Dog title.

This is what Dark Medieval horror is all about.
When I saw the mention of the Cainite Heresy in the Dark Ages core book, I thought, "what a good idea. Nice touch."

After reading this book, I thought, "sweet mother of God."

It's not simply about vampires manipulating the kine's Church. It's a tale of spiritual corruption and madness, a Gothic masterpiece from the elegantly twisted imagination of Kenneth Hite.

The book unveils the repulsive heart of the Cainite Heresy; its history (this part is a true lesson on heresiology), its leaders, their enemies, and their plans for the future (if there is a future...), and, of course, its dark doctrine.

If you're into Vampire for the "tragically hip" thing, never mind. But if you want to grasp the soul of the game, to know what it is all about, pick up this book.

The Next SK
I really enjoyed all three of Costello's works! My personal favorite was "The Cartoonist" and is an excellent plot for film adaptation. All three novels were front to back reads, I couldn't put them down and highly recommend this author to any horror fan!

One of the top 3 horror books I have ever read.
Sean Costello was once touted as the next Stephen King. However, Any fan of SK will fall in love with 'The Cartoonist'. Great story, will draw in until you cannot put it down until you are done. Simply awesome!!! And if you like this one, you then have to read his third book "Captain Quad". Overall an excellent read!!!

great reference book
This book has proved to be useful on a daily basis. It deals with large numbers as the title suggests and the recipes are given for 25, 50, 100 which I have found, working in a boarding school, to be a great resource. Most of the recipes are basic but are easily modified.

a great kitchen resource
An absolute god send. I have been in the hospitlaity industry for 25 years and never have I seen a book geared especially to the large scale market. It has given me so many ideas. Where is volume 2 and 3 and 4.

A very good source of information.
In networking support is a key element of what the administrators do, the same principle applies within the world of routers and to become a CCNP is one of the four exams you have to take.

This book is just over a 1000 pages and the information is written in a labs/hands-on format. There are a number of step by step examples with instructions and the book can either work in a self learn or classroom setting.

Topics like the network models or OSI, DOD, Client/server, and LAN topologies and technologies like ethernet, token ring, FDDI and ATM. Also there is coverage of the troubleshooting tools like show and debug commands, ping, tracert and telnet.

LAN Protocols like IP and IPX, router configurations, frame relay, X.25, Novell, VLANS, STP and STA, 5000 series switches, ISDN and finally routing protocol troubleshooting. I have been able to use some of the routing protocol troubleshooting already in my job.

There is a sample test and review questions in the book as well as projects. The cd included has over 100 questions and practice tests in various testing formats. Overall a good value for what you pay for.

Excellent exam review material and references
This is a very good book for both studying CCNP Support exam and as a work reference book. The real exam covers a wide range of topics, so does this book. The included CD has a good set of review questions to find any weak areas. The book actually provides more than 'exam cram', it asks you to perform some real-life like tasks. This is also a decent reference book for people working in general network support area, especially if you don't remember all the details of many aspects of Cisco equipment, this could provide an entrance point.

Excellent book about a fascinating subject
The authors really knows their glass, and especially glass rose bowls. The material is presented in a clear, well documented manner and the pictures are just wonderful to look at. I highly recommend this book to glass lovers and glass collectors.

Exquisite photography combined with delectable prose
Collectible Glass Rose Bowls is an excellent history of the glassmaking artistry of rose bowls. The book starts with a detailed explanation of rose bowls and then studies examples created in the different eras leading up today. Johanna also gives great details on the method of manufacture of the rose bowls that are pictured and a bit of history on the companies that produced each item. She explains and defines many glass terms that are useful in the study of other glass forms.

The photography is terrific. The fine workmanship in the rose bowls nearly jumps off the page. If you think rose bowls are simple and boring, you will change your mind in very short order.

Collectible Glass Rose Bowls is an excellent tutorial on the hobby of glass collecting. Even if you don't collect rose bowls, you will learn much from reading this very enjoyable book. This book is highly recommended for all glass collectors.

A real international Commentary
Whay I like about this commentary is its real international and interconfesional approach. When you read a commentary on a biblical passage, you will find that the interpretative perspective enriches your own perspective as you find what a scholar from other part of the world is saying about his/her understanding of the biblical message.

In this commentary you will find the work of people from all over the world; and there is a great participation of third world Bible scholars and women.

Comentario Biblico Internacional
One of the best comentaries I have seen in Spanish. I do not know how can so many writers and authors get together to write one book! This is not your regular comentary; this is from people who know to people who know. I love the articles about the translation of the Bible, pastoral aids, the Bible and arqueology, and the fact that it has the books included in the catholic Bible. You need in your bookshelf!
