We got the book as part of the "Cavity Buster Kit" , but the book by itself is also useful....
Well written, good illustractions, easy to understand.
Anyway the site mentions a “kit” that has a videotape, this book, and a selection of teeth friendly products.
The book itself is pretty interesting. It tells how tooth decay actually works and then gives steps to stop dental decay in its tracks. It has checklists and instructions that help make raising cavity-free kids pretty simple, I’m kinda lazy but even I can take these steps with the kids.
There’s also a section that lists food that are healthy to eat, my favorite cereal, Rice Krispies, ranks pretty well so I’m happy!

Brings out issues that are so prevalent in todays world all teachers and students should read this eye opening book.
I'm becoming an English teacher and thought this book would be a great book for students to read in class.
I just read Mac, about a week ago, and I loved it!! I read it in about an hour (i love to read, and im a fast reader!!) I think that it was an execellent (in not good a spelling) concept to write about, considering, sexual abuse is ofton ignored in wirting, and also, that the victim was male, b.c not all victims are women. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think it was an execellent book, I recommend it to anyone!!!
I also must say that the book "You Don't Know Me" is just as good, i read that in an hour too!!! its my favorite book!!!!!!!!!

The author's intelligence, independence and strength of character are amazing. The book is not only a fascinating insight into the life of the nuns and the convents but a great story of courage and of heart. With persistence and intelligence she succeeded in her goal and succeeded in making a happy and successful life for herself.
Abandonned to a cruel fate that she did not deserve, Molly learned to nurture herself, develop her resilience and fill her empty heart with warm thoughts. She kept searching for her mother and wanting to hear the truth about her family. This book glows with the light of hope. It resonates with deep feelings inside those of us who ache for happy times that might have been. Like Molly, we all hope to reconcile with our families of origin and understand how we came to be the people we are.
I didn't expect a memoir to be so suspenseful: this hard-to-put-down book deserves to be well read. It speaks eloquently about life's bittersweet experiences, heartbreaks and love. Woven throughout this uplifting story are practical guides for trusting ourselves, finding true happiness and learning about biological parents. Marvellous to cope so gracefully and write so well; contratulations Mary!
It focuses on the real issue of counseling, how to meet the needs of the client. Each explanation is backed by popular theories, yet the focus remains solution based.
The key to the book is how to be a catalyst in change utilizing the client's perspective of the problem. The authors have done a wonderful job of explaining the school practitioner's role as a catalyst, or an instrument of change.
Too often, I believe counselors try to fit the client into a preconceived box of neurosis. In fact, this book counters that train of thought and shows the reader how to address the client's problem as a unique opportunity to enable the client to find his/her own solution.
I highly recommend this book to students, practicing counselors, parents and teachers.
