Best money I've spent on researching Internet business
Marc has a winner here. I stumbled across it in my local bookstore, and after flipping through a few pages, knew I had to buy it. The clarity of the message, the practicality of the presentation, and the true wisdom contained within make it a must read for anyone in the Internet or e-commerce field. Furthermore, any savvy business person can learn what they need to do to make better use of the Internet as a marketing, sales, customer service, and operational tool. It's NOT a book for the person who wants to read thousands of words delving into the deepest intricacies of business models, Internet user behavior, or complex financial models. It IS a book for the busy person who doesn't have time (or money) to figure out all of this stuff through trial and error, and who wants to capture the wisdom of others (Marc and the people he interviewed) in an efficient way. I wish I would have had it two years ago -- it would have saved me a lot of time figuring these things out myself.

One last note. I worked with some of the best thought-leaders while I was working with two Big-5 consulting firms, and I saw how the old Chinese proverb "To know, but not to do, is not yet to know" was truly accurate. They knew what they knew because of their experience. Because of his dead-on summary of these essentials, I didn't believe that a book of this quality could come from someone who was just a writer and has a few Internet businesses. I found through further research that Marc was formerly a partner at one of the leading web development and operation firms. I think he should include a few more lines in his too-brief bio to explain that. Even without that, the book speaks for itself.

Loved It!
The amount of great information contained in this book will take a lot of people by surprise. Those who have tried and failed in this business will get a lot of answers as to where they went wrong. For those looking to enter this business, the book will become their bible. The knowledge gained is actually saving me a great deal of time and MONEY.

Love is in the air!
Weekends for Two in Southern California: 50 Romantic Getaways is a wonderful book for the romantic in all of us. If you're looking for a great place to stay for the weekend, look no further! This book showcases 50 enchanting places to stay in Southern California when you're in the mood for love within beautiful surroundings. Each property is described in detail with room descriptions, prices and includes full color photographs. My wife and I love the Apple Farm Inn in San Luis Obispo. It's a charming country style inn that's more comfy and cozy than home and also has a great restaurant where homemade corn bread, apple cider and ice cream is featured. I love looking through this book whenever I am planning a trip away with my wife. I'm sure you'll love this book as well!

Highly recommended! Don't miss Bill Gleeson's other Weeekends for Two books for Northern California and other locales. They are great too! You'll feel warm and fuzzy just looking at these lovingly selected getaways.

YOU FOUND IT!
Yes, this is the book to get if you want a fabulous place to create extraordinary memories with your mate! We've been to The Inn At Morro Bay with it's beautiful, breathtaking view of the bay and healing surroundings (p.17); to Ducey's by the Lake (p.30) with it's rich color decor and outstanding breakfast brunch; to the Sundance Villas in Palm Springs (p.108) where we treated back-East parents to a villa with a private pool and spa and a hugh interior during their winter season; and treated newlyweds to Portofino Beach Hotel-incredible (p.74); and have gazed and dreamed about all of the other bed & breakfasts listed in this book. Even if you don't have kids, buy this book!
Wow!

365 Adventures is a fantastic book!

If you're a parent like me, you sometimes draw a mental blank when trying to find creative and enriching activities to do with your children. This book fills in those blanks!

It's full of adventures that you and your kids can do NOW (Make bookmarks, Create a secret identity), adventures you can do in a few hours (Make juice pops) and adventures that you can spread over a day or more (Make a personality collage, Invent a board game).

365 Adventures is not merely a list of 365 super-cool activities; each suggested adventure includes a paragraph or two about the activity and plenty of hints to get you started. Most of the ideas also include helpful advice to make certain the adventure is a success. "Don't put your birdbath on the picnic table or lawn furniture - unless you like bird poop, that is" is one humorous tidbit that comes to mind.

There are plenty of adventures in the book that my six-year-old can enjoy right now and others, like Make a map and Build a bat house, that we plan on conquering when she gets a bit older.

Even if you don't have children to share these activities with, I still recommend that you read this book. Many of the adventures would be great fun to do all by yourself or with a spouse or significant other.

All in all, a great book, ideal for rainy days and sunny days alike!

Great fun for reading
While I was coming back from Singapore I bought this book to read on the plane, and because I just couldnt stop laughing I was warned by the stewards.

Marc has definitely created a very funny book with original charachters. The simplistic drawings make the concept deeper but easy to understand. But dont think this is just a funny book , as in some episodes you can actually see Marc trying to tell his ideas about the world we live in...

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys jokes about sex, music, driving, drinking and eating...

Also you may get some helpful tips about "picking up babes"

Mindblowing...
I met the artist at a book convention, and he lived up to everything I had imagined. A charming, witty person, a fitting genius to have rendered this beautifual trip into a dark and wonderfully convoluted fantasy. Sloane , a captain and starfarer shines brighter in Druillet's adaptation of Flaubert's Salammbo, but the voyages stand on their own as wonderful, tought provoking reading

Oz
This is the absolute masterpiece of Russian poetry for children. I was read this book since I was 1 year old. I was absolutely ecstatic to see one of my favorite book available in English. It is funny, entertaining and educational. What else can you ask from a book? If name of great Samuil Marshak does not tell you much, try it. It will after you finish reading.

Best ESL Listening Activities Book
I have worked with hundreds of books and materials teaching EFL/ESL in Asia and the U.S., and this book has the some best listening activities out of everything else that I have seen. One of my favorite features is the that the cassette uses a great variety of voices and accents.

Just in time
I thought the book was good. There was sexual tension but that wasn't the main focuse. One thing I would change is at the end is exploring there new relationship a little more. None of the ladys in romance story's are weak. The one's that have to start over.
