This is the WORST book I've ever seen. The authors assume that calculus and differential equations are the second nature to the readers and use complicated mathmatical derivations without any explanation. Furthermore, the topics covered in this book are just too broad and disorganized. After reading a chapter, I wonder, "what is this chapter about?"
Don't buy this book--the only reason that I bought this book is because we use this text book in our class. And only after one term, I am thinking about buying another text. This book is an absolute waste of money.

This book is not intended for first time learner or a person who wants to study in depth about P-Chem or Bio-P-Chem.
If it were not due to uc berkeley's requirement, I would NEVER buy this.
The text is lacking of derivations. Easy problems are made to be too complicated. I had to refer to my physics book in order to do the problems.
I would not recommend anyone to buy this.

This book is packed with information!!!... now good luck trying to sort through it all. The book is not organized very well, and in deriving some of the equations, they fail to explain how they reached the next step. For the part on Thermodynamics, they brush over some parts that I thought would be important in understanding the whole picture. If you already understand Biophysical Chemistry, this book could be for you, but if it is your first time learning the material, I would try another text.

The Office 2000 for Dummies Value Pack consists of 3 books only one of which focuses on Office 2000. The other 2 deal with Microsoft Iternet Explorer 5 and Front Page. Unless you have these programs or have the Premium edition of Office 2000 this package won't be of much use to you and you would be better off buying Office 2000 for Dummies alone.

You give absolutely no ionformation about this book

way too much money for a book that minimally covers these
technologies; level of scholarship in the matter is extremely
low. seems to be an effort to create fake credentials rather
than to help others understand these devices and circuits.

Not only is the editing one of the poorest i've seen so far, but it is also just a compilation of papers that appeared elsewhere. Not the least additional insight compared to the original papers, a complete waste of time !

It is not apparent from Amazon's description that this book is mostly written in Chinese. One chapter in the end of the book is English, so, if you don't read Chinese this book will not be much help.

It seems like they just keep slapping 'Dummies' on book covers and expect it to sell. This book is a waste of time, focusing too much on inconsequential 'tips' and not explaining in any depth about how webcams or webcam applications work. Bought this and 'Guide to Webcams' by John Breeden and Jason Byrne, and 'Guide to Webcams' was much more helpful in getting my website setup and in learning how best to use my new webcam.
