It's ok...
Nothing spectacular to write home about. When I bought this book, I was hoping for the old radio dramas that I used to listen to when I was a kid on Sunday nights. I will say that there were some very good stories. But a few left you rather wanting.

Clovis is too cute!
Anyone with an interest in the French language or Louisiana's unique Cajun culture and wildlife would appreciate the adventures of Clovis the Crawfish. This story centers on Batiste the skunk who is teased by the other wetland animals because of his stinkiness. The story teaches the powerful lesson of tolerance and the appreciation of other's differences. Included in the book are many simple French vocabulary and phrases which are furthered explained and translated in the text. Check out the entire Clovis the Crawfish series.

Marvelous collection of quirky ghost stories
This collection is well worth the price of admission. Not only is this an attractively packaged title with a dustjacket you could hang on a wall, the stories themselves -- most from the late 19th Century -- pack a punch despite the passage of time.

Buy and enjoy!

The Collected Writings of Zelda Fitzgerald
Published in Paperback by Univ. of Alabama Press (1997)
Authors: Zelda Fitzgerald, Matthew Joseph Bruccoli, and Mary Gordon
Amazon base price: $22.50
Average review score:

a beautiful, surreal book
Zelda Fitzgerald spent much of her life trying to struggle out of the shadow of her famous husband. For many years she was both a literal and figurative inspiration for his work, often helping him with his stories. This book of her writings allows her to finally take her own place in the fiction world. Her novel, Save Me the Waltz, is an incredible book in which language becomes surrealistic art. There are two sides to every story, and it is interesting to hear Zelda's interpretation of her life with Fitzgerald. The novel itself is a gradual emotional and physical breakdown as it documents a woman on her voyage of self discovery and artistic fulfillment. It has been said that Zelda was a true original and, once encountered, was never forgotten. The same can be said about her work. Though she will unfortunately always be paired and compared with Fizgerald, her voice and style is all her own.

This truly is a worthwhile purchase.
This book encompasses a a variety of short attention-grabbing and motivating short coming of age stories. The book is slpit up into 4 categories each of which contain about 4-5 stories. Those include "Fitting In" , "Family Matters", "Affairs of The Heart", and "Crisis." My personal favorite has to be A Bag of Oranges. It is worth it just to buy the book for that story! The book not only includes this but 20 more coming of age short stories. This book really stands out from the rest! Armed with this knowledge, I would say making the decision to buy this book is a no-brainer. Buy the book and an extra copy to give to a friend! That friend will thank you!

Fictional "Yes" Accurate " all the way"
This story kept me going through the evening into the next morning. The book is a masterful work of story line and true to life events. The only way I can explain this book is, it is exactly like the new "Titanic" Movie!! It encompesses a fictional story with true to life events. A must read for liner buffs and W.W.2 vets!! * I am a liner buff-I collect big and small items, contact me.

READ THIS ONE!
Mary Main brings her characters and settings to life! She has a natural gift of weaving you through the story, all the while keeping you in tight suspence. Megan's friend dies in a tragic accident that is later discovered to be homicide. You won't want to put the book down until the killer is apprehended. (Another of Mary Main's suspenseful books that kept me on the edge of my chair is,"Tower of Evil" - an ominous tale of terror.)

A Great Book for Babies and Toddlers!
I bought this book when my daughter was 3 months old. She enjoyed it as a baby and still enjoys it as a toddler (just turned 3). It's pretty sturdy considering it's not a board book. It survived her chewing/ drooling baby years. It has a simple story line about a caterpillar who is sad because she can't fly like her friends, Bee and Ladybug. She become's a caterpillar in the end and is happy she can fly with her friends. The book has big, bright graphics. The "CRACK!" part when caterpillar bursts free of her cocoon always gets big laughs from my daughter. I would say this is one of her favorites!
