Awesome Book - Very Revealing!
I can't say enough good things about this book. At 29 years old and fairly new to the dating scene, I didn't realize how much the history of my life was projected onto the person I'm dating. This book helped me to step back and see how I approach relationships. I now at least know what I need to work on and what I should expect from myself and others. It helped me to understand myself. The book is written in a gender-neutral manner. It's common sense (now that I've read the book) applies to both sexes, regardless of sexual orientation. I've even recommended it to married friends that are perfectly happy. Thank you!

Hollis wonderfully describes our search for the perfect love
This book helps to understand what goes on in the human condition and that magical state called "in love" when we experience the beloved. It is a wonderful exposition of the jungian phychological view of our deepest emotions; how they occur, what is their nature, how they lead us into pain, and the path of self discovery. The myth that a "magical other" will give us comfort from this world, love us eternally, satisfy our deepest yearnings is dissected and forcefully exposed. In it's place Hollis gives us the freedom of self sustenance, the discovery of solitude and hope for conscious mature relationships that are based on companionship, trust, vulnerability, understanding and our sexuality.

Work of art
This is a story of epic proportion. It was an enjoyable read, it captivated my imagination. The Characters were colorful and real. The author provided many surprises, and I liked the symbolism of the rose. At times I found myself meditating on the rich symbolism. Some parts were very poetic. This story should appeal to the average reader who likes a good yarn.

eden's last sunrise
This is a wonderful story of love and hate, fate and destiny, sorrow and happiness. It involves the reader to think about their own life and beliefs. I first read this book two years ago when I borrowed it from the author, before it was published. I was greatly impressed with the content and composition, and encouraged him to have it published. Eden's Last Sunrise is a fictional account with true historical references. This book is sure to be a smash hit!

Evolution and the Sin in Eden
Published in Hardcover by University Press of America (23 December, 1998)
Author: Anthony Zimmerman

Excellent and Refreshing Book
Father Zimmerman takes a unique and thoughful approach to all his work, and this book is no exception. Of particular interest to me is his analysis of what St. Augustine's approach meant to the development of certain negative features in Catholic theology regarding Original Sin. (But don't get me wrong, Father Zimmerman is totally orthodox and pays due respect to the great Augustine.)

All who are concerned about this subject and read this book will find much to ponder. Few books really shed new light on one's thinking, but this is one of those books.

insightful and well-researched
This book gives some new insights into original sin and Adam and Eve and I recommend it to all interested in that important subject

A historical treasure!
One word comes to mind in discussing this book- WOW! Dr. Hobbs has done an extremely excellent job of gathering and organizing all the information and resources in this book. The biblical history of the black culture a definitive amalgamation and prognostication of the black church with a deep acumen into the social and psychological position of the black person regarding their religions. This book is an exhaustive history of the roots of black religion and early black religious leaders in the United States. It digs up and disseminates much of the "hidden" history of the black religious culture. The listing of resources is exhaustive and the subject more thoroughly discussed and investigated than in any previous work on Black religion. Bravo to Dr. Hobbs !

Leslie Blanchard

Editor A Writer's Choice Literary Journal

This book is packed with priceless "hidden" history!
"The Body of Christ has been inundated with a spirit of religion. This spirit has illegally infiltrated the Church and is causing a stalemate between us and the goals God has mandated for us. Satan has unleased the demon of the spirit of religion to seed the mentality of believers. This, in turn, can destroy the churh and hinder the harvest of souls. In addition, the spirit of religion strives to slow down the return of Jesus Christ. The spirit of religion is defined as a spirit of complacency or a force that makes us relax and let our guards down."

'The Best Bargain I've Ever Purchased'!
This is the best buy I've purchased. Three books in one for the price of $1.00 at a library sale. Excellent hardback, original wrapper included. All exciting, spellbinding (capturing the readers and holding their interest with an intense of having to finish the book in one reading) and sensual in the Heather Graham fashion. The heros are similar yet unique in their individuality, exuding strength, leadership, integrity, compassion, and devotion to causes and loved ones. The three heros represent the founders of our great nation, while the heroines represent the women whom stood beside him, fought with and against him and provided the wind beneath his wings. If you enjoyed reading these three novels, continue to read about their great, great, great offsprings, the Camerons of 'One Wore Blue, One Wore Gray and One Rode West' and you will understand why the Camerons are one of my favorite 'Graham' families

Magnificent!!

Great game.
This is one of the best games out there. Griffin Games is a small company, but from what I've seen of their products (I have both of their first two games), they make excellent games. A must have if you like fantasy games.

Wow!
This is a fantastic game! I love the magic, especially the free form magic for wizards and enchanters. I can't wait for the rest of the books!

Amazing!
Melbury Square gives a wonderful look into the life of a wealthy young girl in the turn of the century and how her road of reality is at times paved with Criso. I've read it twice and I am sure I'll read it again. It is truely amazing!

Stunning Melburies
Dorothy Eden has a way of sweeping you into the life of Maud Lucie, a spoiled and arrogant young girl in the Victorian England. Experience her highs and lows of lost love and self punishment. This was the most exceptional book I have read. I found myself crying, laughing and falling in love, over and again. Through Maud's eyes, I found a lesson on life.

Collecting bed sores and enriching the vet .
For all you cynics who belive that romance is dead , perhaps it was not your partner . After all you had been working hard that week , and even if it was , how can you be so sure ,that checking into a motel as mr and mrs smith for two hours , was in any way suspicious . Dear old Barbara would put your mind at rest.and in these perfumed pages ,our old hearts are set to flutter as love blossoms . First its a good old fashioned tale of passion and hatred , between Lord Cockbury the seventh earl of undergarb ,and his fiery half gypsy half aubergine dentist . The tale ends as you would expect from such romantic fiction ,with the two lovers .fighting a naked duel on the Westminster bridge at midnight ,with only a few out of date tomatoes dying in the snow along with the lovers . Sob sob I can not continue its all too heart renching . My only complaint with these stories ,is that far too often the villain of the piece ,turns out to be wearing thermal underwear ,all the better for hiding tropical fish I suppose .

Nice.
REALLY NICE

Peru's Amazonian Eden : MANU, National Park and Biosphere Reserve
Published in Hardcover by Francis O. Patthey & Sons (16 August, 1998)
Authors: Kim Macquarrie, John Terborgh, Andre Bärtschi, and Jordi Blassi
Amazon base price: $80.00
Average review score:

MANU: The real deal
I have read everything that can be found pertaining to the rain forest areas of southeast Peru, as an adjunct to my in-the-field research into the legend of the legendary "Paititi," ultimate refuge of the Incas. The information that writer/film-maker Kim MacQuarrie compiled and put into words for Manu is among the most informative and interesting to be found on the subject in English (or Spanish, as the text is bi-lingual). The author obviously did his homework, and presents the facts and current theories in clear and colorful prose. The book gives a good representation of various ecological zones found within "Manu," from the harsh and frigid highlands, the "alturas," on the west; to the penetrating cold mists dripping moisture onto the dense vegetation of the "ceja de la selva," the "eyebrow of the jungle" that lies just below the highlands, along the high eastern edge of the Andes; down into the eastern rim of the Amazon basin, the dense riot of vegetation that is the "selva alta," the high altitude jungle; and finally down into the endless carpet of jungle that makes up the "selva baja," the lowland jungle that spreads away from Manu ever deeper into the Amazon. The text covers all aspects of the Manu area, from history to archaeology to ecology to anthropology. The photographer Andre Bartschi's photographs, which grace most of the book, are lush and exquisitely sharp, capturing fully the riot of color and feeling that are a part of the Manu experience. This is one "coffee table" size book that is as worth reading as any thriller, with illustrations that are a real "turn on" for anyone interested in the exotic or natural history. An additional interesting and useful feature is found in the fold out "bird's eye view" maps, which help one understand and "feel" the unique topography that makes up this pristine and magical place, Manu.

Best Book on the Subject....End of Subject...
MANU is an absolutely first rate book, with superb photography by Andre Bartshe, an extraordianry talent, and text in both English and Spanish by world traveler and adventurer, Kim MacQuarrie. Mr MacQuarrie and Mr. Bartshe have each lived and explored Peru for several years. They are authorities on the region. Mr. MacQuarrie has also made several award winning films for the Discovery Channel on Manu as well as on Siberian Grizzly bears of Kamtchatka. This MANU book is also a pleasure for its production value. It is a joy to hold and turn the pages. The color process used is excellent and the paper is of the highest quality. MANU is a treasure. Highest recommendation for serious book lovers.
