An Excellent Resource
This book is an excellent resource for anyone who has suffered a loss or for those who care about someone who has suffered a loss. Miller writes beautifully and I have given away numerous copies of this books to friends and associates. The chapters are short and easy to read (an essential element for those who are grieving). While geared primarily toward those who have experienced loss through death, the "12 Things" are practical and quite helpful for anyone who has suffered a loss of any type.

Great book for teachers!
Miriam Cohen explores what it means to "be a reader" through her delightful class of first graders. Jim wonders when he will learn to read. His holistic teacher points out to him that he is already reading many things such as familiar books, classroom signs and so on. As young children enjoy reading (or listening) about Jim's exploration, they also are learning about reading and what it means to be a reader. This book helps children understand that reading is developmental and depends on the social context. A great book for Pre-K to 1st graders. I use it with a unit called "I Can Read" that helps children appreciate their early reading abilities. Also a good choice for older children who are working with young readers as reading buddies or partners. This book is also a good choice for open house or parent meetings- to help anxious first grade parents to relax. If you haven't read any of the other books in this series, check them out too!

101 cures for lives of quiet desperation
Motivational speaker-writers often seem to merely state the obvious, but that fact doesn't diminish the relevance of the message. We could all use a little jump-start every once in while. Robin Sharma gives us 101 of them in this easy-to-browse-through paperback, and each nugget takes up just one or two pages. Some suggestions are no-brainers: Keep a Journal, Become a Volunteer, Be a Better Parent, Walk in the Woods. Others are more intriguing: Have a Living Funeral, Don't Finish Every Book You Start, Create a Hero List, Find Your Place of Peace. And don't be jarred by the book's title: these recommendations are very much about making the opportunity to live the life you want to and augmenting your worthwhile existence. If you're a typical adult human, you're sure to find words of encouragement and some good ideas here. If you're listless or between jobs / relationships or struggling for a reason to get up in the morning, this little volume may just give you the [rear]-kicking you need. Keep _Who Will Cry_ next to your bed or in your briefcase / purse or in your top desk drawer. Whenever you feel as though you're just skimming on the surface of the day, pull out the book and open it up to a page at random. The advice won't erase reality; it'll give you another way of approaching it.

One of the best books on grief
Sandra pulls you in to her personal life and grief and showsyou not only how to survive it yourself, but how to help others aswell. It is heartwarming and honest. I've read the first version, "Living Through the Loss of Someone You Love" and this new version has all of the same poignant personal stories plus more insight and help on the grief process. Sandra offers up her own personal--and successful--experience in addition to the "self-help" format. As you're reading this book and wake up grief-stricken in the middle of the night and ask yourself, "Is this normal?" the answer you get is from someone who's been there--and who also shows she truly is an expert. Great to give to someone who is grieving when you just don't have the words yourself.

Will I Survive This Pain
After the death of my father, this was the most helpful of all the books I read. It was filled with useful ideas, not platitudes. I found the very fact the it validated what I was feeling was enormously comforting. This book did not tell me what to do to get over the pain, rather it explained the common feelings that go with grief and assurance that what I was feeling was normal and it would get easier. I have shared this with friends who has lost loved ones and everyone says it's one of the best books they've read.

For the Sex Goddess in You¿
The best way to be a great lover is more than likely to have lots of fun sex in which you use your own imagination to discover your lovers' body, what they love, what they dislike.

After years of being married, you might not think you need this book if you are basically happy with your sex life. You might want to have this book if you want to be "very" happy with your sex life. This book will give you many new ideas and will make you eager to start learning how to be a great lover. You will also find many ideas you already learned simply by having sex and experimenting.

So in a way, you will feel more confident in discovering you know some of the tricks of the love trade and then you will want to add a few more ideas. Like Lou says, anything you do often, is worth doing well. What she focuses on however, is the quality of the experience.

First lets say that desire is the biggest turn on. If your partner wants you, that is going to make you feel amazingly sexy. But if you want to know how to take that sexy feeling
and put it into action, then you will enjoy learning a few techniques to spice up your love life. If you and your partner have fallen into the same love making styles, this
could help you to feel a bit more adventurous.

"Every man loves the idea of bringing out the wild side of a woman. Believing he alone has the capacity to do that creates a bond unlike any other. Its not just sensual-it's mental, emotional, and spiritual as well." ~ Lou Paget

What you will find is an author who is thourally intrigued with the idea of pleasing a man. She wanted to know how women develop sexual savviness. In ten chapters she covers the basics.

The Kama Lou Tra - Why the author started to teach sexuality seminars. She also describes how a friend told her exactly what a man likes and she took notes, lots of notes.
Beyond the Bedroom - Creating a romantic mood and remembering men are visual creatures.
The Art of Kissing - Are you suffering from kissing dissatisfaction? Do you want to know how to get your lover to once again kiss you passionately?
Safety Is Essensual - A discussion on sexual health.
To Lube or Not to Lube? - This section gives away a secret you will want to know.
Give that Man a Hand - This is going to be the section of the book where you say, "Oh, I know how to do that," or "Oh, I want to try that!" Even after years of having sex, there will be a few ideas you will never have thought of. There is power in your hands and Lou explains how to combine it with oral sex in the next chapter.
Blowing His...Mind! - Tricks and Tips on how to give great oral sex.
The Outer Limits - A chapter I assume many will skip for religious reasons.
Coming Together at Last - The truth about male and female pleasure with an emphasis
on the six main sexual positions.
Pearls and Other Passionate Playthings - Websites and recommendations to add a new dimension to lovemaking.

Lou Paget presents this information mostly for women who want to know exactly what they can do to please the man in their life. It will also make you feel sexy and confident in the bedroom or maybe even somewhere much naughtier. You won't find any nude pictures in her book either, just drawings. So this is really suitable for anyone who objects to photographic images.

I can't imagine any man not being overly pleased and excited to find this book under your pillow! Every woman should own a copy of this book and also look for:

Anne Hooper's Sex Q & A
The Magic Of Sex by Miriam Stoppard
Kiss Guide to Sex
If Only He Knew/For Better Or Best by Gary Smalley (one book for each partner)
Light Her Fire/Light His Fire by Ellen Kreidman (one book for each partner)

Let this book be your little secret. It will awaken part of the sex goddess in you. If you add a little romance and a good helping of creativity and desire, you can really light your man's fire.

A book to devour secretly in bed!

Abolutely a great book that will blow your lovers mind!
This wonderful book has received many great reviews and rightfully so, I don't know what to say that other readers haven't already said, other than this is a GREAT book and these are my reasons for thinking so!

This book is written in a totally readable style and includes literally thousands of mind-blowing techniques to use on your man. The author, Lou Paget has spent the last 15 years as a sex educator so she knows what she's talking about. The book does not use vulgar terms to describe body parts and treats the whole sexual experience respectfully. How to Be a Great Lover runs the gambit on sexual experiences between a man and a woman. Every possible thing you could think of is included in the handy little book. Some of the chapters include: how to create a sensual environment, the art of kissing, safer sex, lubrication issues, hand jobs, oral sex, anal sex, actual intercourse, and sex toys. There are detailed drawings of everything you could possibly have questions about in this book. Personally, I found the drawings of all of the different ways to give a man a hand job very helpful. (Like they say: a picture is worth a thousand words). Another interesting thing about this book are the little bubbles included throughout the book. They are called "Secret from Lou's Archives" and include little known facts about whatever the chapter is about. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has sex, engages in foreplay or kissing, wants their sex life to be better, or anyone who is thinking about engaging in sexual activities. There are so many neat tricks in this book that your sex life will never get dull. Lou Paget's book HOW TO BE A GREAT LOVER is sure to put some pizazz back into your sex life.

This book is a fun, informative guide for women who want to master their bedroom skills. Paget provides a no-nonsense guide for women. Her advice is intended to empower you and give you confidence, enabling you to enjoy greater intimacy in the bedroom.

Let's face it, we all want to have a great sex life. Even if you THINK you know everything, you will learn a few new tricks from this book. What do men like and why? You will find out in this book. Without getting too explicit here, just let me say that after reading this book, you find out all you will ever need to know about how to truly please, excite, and satisfy your man.

What More Can I Say? You HAVE to read it!
I received this book on 8/14 and read it almost completely that night while my husband was away. On the evening of 8/15 I tried just two of the techniques (of the very many!) from "give him a hand" chapter and afterwards, in his words, it was mind-blowing. Which totally made this the best purchase EVER as the title includes the words, "techniques that will blow his mind." My husband didn't even know I had this book (tho I did confess to him afterwards and now he can't wait to try the other techniques!!)

I was skeptical at first as with any "here's how to" book, but this one truly has opened my eyes about a lot of things. I didn't know I could feel as confident as I could as a woman during love making.... I didn't know my man could be turned on with anal play... I didn't know I could turn him on with my hands the way I did.... or otherwise with techniques Lou has. I'm so happy with the book that I'm going to look for a website for her so I can tell her what a difference it's made to me - feeling more confident as a woman AND a lover. And I still have 95% of her suggestions to try out! My husband and I have a pretty exciting love life, but to have taken it to this level with just one reading and trying out just two of Lou's techniques....... well, you've got to get the book for yourself to see what I mean. I wasn't sure at first as I was reading it, but then when I put reading into reality on my husband......... that's all I needed to be convinced! I can't wait (and neither can he) for Round 2!! Enjoy and thanks, Lou!
