Read this moving book in two days
I am 38 years old and I read this book when I was 17 years old as a senior in high school. It wasn't a requirement that I read this book. I simply saw it in the library and was intrigued by the title. Now that I am an adult, I want my children to read this powerful book. I am also ordering the book today so that I can reread it. There were so many people who participated in the civil rights movement and it is time we learn about more of those American heros. I could not put this book down. I read it in two days! Myrlie Evers shares her darkest fears and greatest joy.

Go MAD: Make a Difference
My daughter LOVED this book. Sometimes I would hear her laughing from the other room as she read it. She would even bring up some of the issues she read about during dinner. She said that even though it was written by adults, it was presented in "her language" (funny, I thought she spoke English like the rest of us). She really liked the chapters by Mark Bernstein and Keith Hawkins in particular. Thanks for a great read. Go MAD is great!

Excellent childrens book to introduce Holy Spirit principles
The story opens with Gospel Bill getting saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. He is later captured by indians and is to be sacrificed. While praying in tongues in captivity, Bill is overheard by the indians and they are amazed that they can understand him. Bill is released and they end up learning about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Children will enjoy the suspense plus the basic Biblical truths presented.

A Beautiful work!
Ruth Dewson is known nationwide as the purveyor of fine hats to the stars, and to every one else - her small store in San Francisco hosts the mayor, major Hollywood celebrities, and tourists and local denizens alike - her charm, character, style and personality are infused into this work which showcases many popular styles for both men and women as worn by numerous celebrities in vivid large-scale photographs. There are also sections that give advice as to how to choose the perfect hat(s) for yourself. A definite boon to those inclined towards all matters sartorial.

What a superb read how refreshing it is to see a star through the eyes of his own daughter. I am now currently reading this book for a third time and I have only had it for a week. It's a must for all Willie Nelson fans. Well done Susie its brilliant.

Worked for me
This book comes with 2 CD's you can play along with. There isn't much text/theory it teaches by having you play exercises. I'm more of an audio learner so this was great for me. The book teaches blues and improvisation in a number of different keys with an emphasis on accents and articulation that really comes thru when you hear it played on the CD. This is a good place to start learning Jazz.

Excellent story for sharing with kids of all ages!
Lizard's Song is the story of a lizard who teaches his friend Bear his favorite song ("Zoli, zoli, zoli...Rock is my Home"), only to discover that Bear keeps on forgetting it. Ultimately , Lizard realizes that the problem lies in the song, which is about Lizard's home. When he makes the song about Bear's home(..Cave is my home")Bear never forgets the song again. Share this story with anyone, but especially share it with homesick preschoolesrs, and remember to ask them at the end what they live in, and make a song for each of them never to forget.
