What a fun Christmas Story for the family to read together. We especially liked all of the wonderful Danish tradition. Another great book by Niels Werner.

German is not an easy language but with this book one goes step by step learning useful expresions in a logical sequence. Besides the excelent way in which it is organized, it has many pictures and drawings that grabs the student attention. The dialogues at the beginning of each chapter are also very entretaining and useful.

A zany riot of language and image. My children were going around the house for days mouthing "Finsterisms." I recommend the book without reservation for children and adults alike. Neither you nor your kids will soon forget the adventures of Finster and Holly Berry.

Excellent pictorial journey of Florida. Includes a one page history of Florida with translations into French, Spanish & German. A real treasure. We bought several copies as gifts to our family after our recent move to Florida.

This is a concise and rigorous introduction to Fourier series. It is a small tract, in the style of these Cambridge books, with a hundred fully proved theorems on Trig. series. In my opinion, it is a beautiful exposition.

You need to be conversant with the theory of Lesbegue integration to make it through.

The standard treatise in this subject are those of Zygmund and Bary and this tract is a very portable introduction to these.

It has to be added, though that this is not a necessary pre-requisite to Zygmund. The latter starts more or less from "scratch".

I personally look back at the book for referance as how to calculate figures for projects that are coming up at work. I thought that the book had more valuable information in it, that was needed in the everyday of finance. It is worth more keeping the book than selling it. If you asked me what the "Net Present Value" was on this book. I estimated $1201.75 after I expensed the book from my cost of making a decision on whether to, or not to engaging in a project using the "Cost of Capital" method in chapter 10. And, because of it I made more money for myself.

This book is an adorable, classic Golden Book. The illustrations are beautiful, the story is sweet, and it also teaches counting and animals. The duckling encounters 2 colts, then 3 cows, then 4 roosters, then 5 geese ... and so on until the lost little duckling is reaquainted with his mommy and 9 little brothers and sisters, making 10 little ducklings! A darling, and educational, little book.

Spectacular color plates of botanicals plus interesting history about the book's original production. Excellent value for the price!

This book is quick and concise. As a beginner, I take it with me to the driving range every time I go. I can review the essentials in 5-10 minutes and I find that it helps me set a good frame of mind. I highly recommend it.
