"The Prince has a Boo-boo" has personally been my favorite book evey since I was 3. It's a great book for children because its about this little prince who bumps his head and everyone in the castle wants to get him a band-aid. In the end he just wanted a kiss to make it all better. In the back of this book there is a set of learning cards that you can cut out and help your child learn how to read essential words for life like: Kiss, Boo-boo, and Castle. I really recomend you buy this book for your little reader today they'll love it forever.

How can this book be out of print? It's so much fun! The drawings are engaging, with warm and bright color. The words are simple and in big type for early readers or pre-readers. And the story's cute, with a nice little message at the end. It's very short, will take you one minute to read, unless you stretch it by acting out the parts or discussing the drawings on every page (if you do that it could last you five whole minutes!)).

My son is now 1 year but this has been a FAVORITE book since he was 3 months and we have alot of books. The pages are thick cardboard, the flaps are easy for him to turn, the pictures are bright and adorable!

This book makes wonderful use of flaps. The momma animal says, "Where is my baby?" with a sad look on her face on the left side of the page. A partial flap on the right side covers the baby animal, but not the rest of the picture, making the flap easy to grab and turn. The words under the flap says, "Here is my _____." [it fills in the blank with the appropriate name of the baby animal] It has been one of my son's favorite books since he was 12 months old! The pages are made of sturdy material helping it hold up to many "self" readings by my son! The lively colored art keeps both child and parents' attention. A must buy! I am giving it to every child on our Holiday list this year.

I'm a grown woman and I bought this book for my mother as one of her gifts for a day that celebrates her and what she has done for her children. This book truly does remind us what kind of a woman she is and her impact on how she affects us. She is a truly wonderful woman who deserves to have a day of celebration. My mother thanked me for it and in return, I thank her for always being there.

Two different stories are told in clever rhyme about animals and the instruments they play. The first is "Mr Lion's Marching Band" with trumpets, drums and tubas played by tigers, monkeys and elephants. The second story involves "Sheep's Dance Band" with a pig playing piano, cow on bass and cats and mice dancing. This book has provied a real opportunity for our 2 1/2 year old son to identify many, many different instruments; the illustrations are fun and accurate. Perhaps most of all, these rhymes are clever and FUN TO READ ALOUD!

This book is great for learning the basic animal sounds. It has great, simple illustrations and can be read over and over.

I found that this book would be great to use to introduce a weather bear in a pre-K or Kindergarten class. The book follows the decisions Bear makes when he gets dressed in the morning. Three articles of clothing are given to choose from and then we find out what Bear picked. His decisions are based on how the weather is. I think this is a good book to help young children learn how to chose appropriate close for the weather. I highly recommend it.

I was very sad to read that this book was out of print. The story was touching and the beautiful illustrations set quite a peaceful and soothing tone. The fact that my father illustrated the book has nothing to do with the reason I am writing this review - I really did love that book.

This is a sweet little book with an adorible little bunny. The little bunny rides in his stroller as he and his mommy walk to the bakery. Baby bunny waves "bye-bye" to Daddy as they go and says "hi", to everyone they meet along the way. So if you have a little one that loves to wave and say "hi", and "bye-bye" this is the perfect book! My 18 month old loves it. = )

This is a wonderful book about a little girl who doesn't want to get ready in the morning. My daughter hates to get ready in the morning, too. This is her favorite book.
