A must-read for anyone interested in spiritual warfare!
"I am the Christian the Devil Warned You About" begins as a simple first person story in which a christian is miraculously transported to the very lair of Satan himself. Once there, the young christian learns of a secret that could cause disastrous results for the devil. The boy is transported back to earth, and there finds "The Twelve," a series of letters written by an old missionary. The Twelve lay out a powerful plan for spiritual warfare, or simply warfare in general. "Warfare becomes physical when there is a defeat in the spiritual realm." A must read for anyone interested in spiritual warfare.

Adorable Book!
This book is delightful! The illustrations are fun to look at. The premise of the book is about a child that would rather have an iguana than a new sibling. It deals with the anger and feelings of an older child coming to grips with the new "intruder" in the home. I gave this book as a gift to my friend's daughter who loved it! She also loves her new sibling, too (finally!)

The Impresario of the Bullrings - Godfather to Men and Bulls
Published in Hardcover by Carlton Press (1988)
Authors: Mike De LA Fuente and Mario De La Fuente
Amazon base price: $11.75
Average review score:

Best book on bullfights I've ever read. A classic.
Mario "Mike" De la Fuente writes about bullfights with the expertise of Hemingway. His first-hand experience in the world of legendary matadors and impresarios is crucial to develop the best written book on the subject. His account of the fictionalized portrait of an impresario involved in the world of El Cordobes, Manolete and other extraordinary men is thought-provoking and as passionate as his love for life. If you'll ever read only one book on this subject this is the one!. The passion in De La Fuente's style can only be equaled by that of the passion and excitement of the life-size characters that accompany Mike in his incredible journey. This book will make you chant "Ole" and "Viva" De La Fuente!!

Inside Las Vegas
Published in Hardcover by Grosset & Dunlap (1977)
Author: Mario Puzo

Used price: $4.99
Collectible price: $6.85
Average review score:

Hugely effective non-fiction that spins a spell on it's own.
This is one of two non-fiction books that Puzo wrote. Inside Las Vegas tells you the truth about what goes on behind the poker games and fancy slot machines. Anybody who has read or seen Nicholas Peleggi's 'Casino' will know what I'm talking about when I say 'Magic'. This is truly a fine piece of work and unlike Puzo's other big point Casino book 'Fools Die' I can honestly say that I prefered this.

It has been writen down to the finest degree and it is full with interesting pictures too. I would ask anybody to read this book if they were into a hussler and Caino running. Along with the Casino another aspest which dominated this book is the mob.

It is interesting when a man called Bruno is in his hotel room packing when a bell boy knocks on the door and tells him there are two men down stairs looking for him, because he skimmed their Casino the night before. It will have you turning pages all the way to an explosive showdown but don't take my word for it, read the book.

Another thing that the book has is well developed characters and a great plot. however a film cannot be made because it would look to much like 'Casino'. Still this will have you ducking and diving at every paragragh and subsection and although it's not one of Mr.Puzo's more famous books such as The Godfather, It is still worth a read(more than one). Once you read the first chapter you will be hooked and won't be able to put it down. It also goes into great detail, e.g. Bruno shot him and Angelo stuck a knife through his heart to stop the blood flow and heart pumping. It is a sadistic and certainly more disturbing of Puzo's books, that's why it's almost impossible to get your hands on a copy. if you do, jump at the chance. It's worth your while and money.

A start for every aeronautics engineer student
This book is really a good reference for understanding the basics of aeronautics. It covers everything from aerodynamics to flight dynamics, stability and control, etc... Basically, after you read the book, you can know only a few parameters of a particular aircraft and then be able to deduct its aerodynamic characteristics, its optimal speed for maximal range, its flight ceiling, etc...

With the information that an aircraft manufacturer gives on its typical web page and the information contained in this book you can calculate enough to have a really good idea of a particular aircraft performance.

Plus, the book is clear and easy to read. I recommend it to every aeronautics student.

Inventario Dos

Incomparable, Necessary, Inspiring
In this work, the reader finds an incomparable poetic voice, distilled to its best and resounding at the most basic, unseen, human level of experience. Benedetti aims for, and makes contact with, that part of the human self which is often not able to be conveyed in words, not apparent or obvious, but which is essential to experiencing and interpreting the meaning of human experience itself.

This Uruguayan poet's aesthetics are unique and explorative, given to stripping away the unnecessary obstructions of visual grammar, and using the exchange between space and text as a rhythmic and lyrical guide to the reader. Here, the poetic activity is found in its essence, and many, who ably read Spanish, will find their own internal or poetic voice being newly inspired by the stunning breadth and penetration of the work compiled in this volume.

The Italian American Family Album
This book, although written for older children, is a good read for adults as well. It shows the story of Italian immigration starting in Italy, which few accounts do. The pictures from Italy give the reader a setting to contrast with American cities and towns of the times. The interviews with the immigrants give a flavor of the struggles they went through and clarify their reasons for leaving their homes and families. The sections on Italian American ommunities and their traditions and contributions are a source of pride for all Italian Americans. A highly recommended book for those wishing to understand the immigrant experience.
