Aunt Nancy and Cousin Lazybones

Amazon base price: $16.99
Average review score:

My kids LOVE this book!
Aunt Nancy and Cousin Lazybones was a BIG hit with my 4-year-old and my 3-year-old! Every page kept their attention with great illustrations, instantly developed characters, and a VERY funny story full of cute little phrases. "I'd be pleased as petunias to help," said Cousin Lazybones. They love to pretend they have a "hitch in their gitalongs" like good old Cousin Lazybones did!

I also stopped after every lazy thing Cousin Lazybones did and asked my children what SHOULD he have done? They knew right away! They really enjoyed this book, and I REALLY enjoyed reading aloud to them OVER and OVER!

The Bounty Hunter's Daughter is a classic western!
The Bounty Hunter's Daughter is an incredible book and I didn't want it to end. Delphinia Estes is a strong heroine, with all the odds against her. What I thought at first would be a basic revenge western, became an intricately plotted novel, that keeps unfolding all kinds of hidden secrets. Phyllis de la Garza is an amazing, gifted writer. A classic western novel!

My child loved this one
The Boy with the Helium Head is a whimsical, imaginative story about a boy named Jonathan who has a bad day. From a breakfast of Cream of Wheat to problems with the school bully to a fussy baby brother, the day takes a turn for the bizzare when Jonathan is accidentally injected with helium by a frazzled doctor. Jonathan's aerial adventures capture the interest of a child, and everyone is surprised by the resolution of the conflict between Jonathan and the bully.
