Convince everybody!
Ever notice how some people seem to always get their way, even though they're (arguably)"wrong". This book will teach you how! This is not a Machiacelliv book, but it will certainly teach you how to relate with other people in a way that makes them empathize with your cause and agree with you. Once you've learned this, you can use the knowledge to win trials, close a business deal, get a promotion, bargain, or simply relate to the world in general in a way that will make everyone love you!

From posture to body language, argumentation, organization of thought, etc., this book really works! Did you know, for example, that people believe body language over your actual words because they think that is more natural? So learn to control your body language, learn the "social stereotypes" and you're off to manipulate everyone into agreeing with you!

Also check "What would Machiavelli Do?" By Stanley Bing, "The 48 Laws of Power" by R. Greene and J. Elffers, and "The Prince" by Machiavelli

Excellent book!
As a lawyer, I can tell you that this book will teach you how to negotiate and convince people. It will tell you how to stand and gesture so that you are perceived as an authoritative person, if you want, or as naive if that's what the situation requires. A great book which will be extremely helpful to everyone, and a must-have for lawyers, businessmen and politicians.

Great for the general public and for law students
As a student entering my third year of law school, I find my trial classes to be the most exciting. Noelle Nelson's book is giving me an edge over my other classmates, and I expect the same results when I enter practice. If it works in the legal environment just imagine how effective it can be when the techniques are used in the general public!

A Book of Self Love!!!
This book really pushes you to look at yourself and to accept resonsibility for your pain as well as your happiness. It is written in a straight forward, but loving way. Carla has outlined her path of healing and is brave enough in this book to expose all of the rocky, but necessary ups and downs. The lessons are taught and experienced by the reader in such an intimate way. When you walk away from this book, you take with you the simple message of Love and the importance of Self. An incredible book with an important message!!!

What a Gift!
Carla Nelson bravely reveals her personal story and assists us in following an inward journey to healing. Through her sharing and guidance, she teaches us to face our anger and hurt; thereby, forgiving others and ultimately ourselves. She offers us the gift of peace and joy.

I LOVE this book!
When I read this book I couldn't believe how honest is was. What courage it must have taken for Ms. Nelson to write the story of her life: the story of her abusefull childhood and her struggles to overcome her confusion and pain, and her determination to overcome it with love and forgiveness. Her experience and her message showed me how to deal with my own anger and hurt and, more importantly, gave me the courage to try. Thank you for such a great book!

Her mother died while she was young, and her dad is still single, job-less. She meets a really wonderful lady in the library and enjoys beign with her. Then she comes up with an idea. there's a lot more that maybe I will explain later, she tries to set them up.....

A Great Book for an Intermediate to Advanced French Student
As the title indicates, the book lists 750 verbs and demonstrates their uses with sample sentences. It is not the same as the usual verb book which lists and conjugates many of the most basic verbs, but instead it concentrates on the meaning of more advanced verbs and supplies sample sentences. The book is intended for someone who already has a basic knowledge of French. In the main text, the verbs are not conjugated, but there is an appendix at the end of the book of grammatical tables in which verbs are conjugated. The author assumes that the reader already has a knowledge of basic verbs such as "to be", "to speak", "to go", etc. but instead dwells on more advanced verbs, such as s'insister pour que (+ the infinitive) meaning to insist on or opter entre quelque chose meaning to choose among a group of things. The book does demonstrate more complex usages of some of the simpler verbs - for example, parler dans quelque chose meaning to speak into something such as a microphone, or laisser quelque chose meaning to leave something (somewhere or for someone). Sentences are given for each verb which I found extremely helpful, although it is necessary to go to the appendix if you are not sure of the conjugation of the verb.
Overall, I believe this book would be very helpful in improving the grammar and vocabulary of an intermediate to advanced French student.

Improved my French beyond any doubt
The are many books on French verbs but the emphasis is usually on conjugations. What distinguish this book from others is that it is focused on how to actually use those verbs. I am surprised to find that I am the first person to review this book because it is so useful. Before I had the book, there were many verbs which were only in my "passive" vocabulary -- i.e. when I read or hear them, I would have a sense of what they mean. After reading this book, however, many more verbs have become part of my "active" vocabulary. This means that I can now actually use them in a conversation. The examples given in the book have helped me to have a much better grasp of how and when to use those. I am very pleased with the improvements I have made. What I do with the book is that everyday I would read a couple of pages at random. After reading the examples given for a particular verb, I would imagine myself in situations where I can use the verb. This has proven to be a very effective way to integrate the words learned into my vocabulary.

Alien3? What's that?
The sequel to Book One, this may be as good. Although it lacks the first installment's insightful monologues due to is shortness, it again thoughtfully presents insanity and power in a way more effective than any movie could do it. The artwork is fully painted and is breathtaking. The spaceships are excellently designed with the characters faces detailed and sensitive. The tormented love story at the centre of the piece is unspeakably moving. Should the writer ever wish it, his work could be up there with John Wyndham and the artist could be on a par with the brothers Hildebrandt. Buy this masterpiece!

An awesome continuation of the Aliens saga
The art in this book is some of the comic book industry's best. It is obvious, as you read, that pieces of this book were used in the Aliens Resurection movie sequel. The military tries, and fails, to control and use the alien species as a biological weapon. This book was written before "Aliens 3", so look for a grown-up Newt. Ripley makes a brief appearance as well.

one of the best
This is one of the best Aliens graphic novels ever. In Outbreak, the government brings Wilks, (supposed to be Hicks) out of prison to lead an expedition to the Alien planet in order to secure a specimen. Wilks in the process decides to free Billie (newt) from the mental hospital she's in. In the midst of all this, various cults form around the worship of the alien, conspiracies are abound, and there is fierce competition of who will get the Alien specimen to Earth first. The story is extremely well crafted, it has great plot surprises everywhere and in the conclusion it actually teaches us something about human nature. The art wasn't the best, but it was good nevertheless for such a lengthy comic. Well done dialogue, well crafted characters and a great story make this a must buy for every alien fan.

a very good comic with interesting characters.
Out of all the aliens comics and books i have read this is the best.It tells about the new sightings of xenomorphs and also about Hicks and newt 13 years after the second movie. There names are changed though because of complications around the third movie. it has more plot and less aliens which is actually better. the aliens are hardly even seen until the end. the very end of the comic is amazing. it's really nice how it revolves around many different characters who are all important to the plot but mainly don't interact with eachother. it's a great opening to the aliens series and completly surpasses the movies. choose this comic above all.

Read it Twice
I thought that it was a great novel. I completly agree that [the lack of sexual scenes] has a positive impact on the book. I liked the character developement and Amberleigh's sprightly character. It is a fun read and worth a shot.

Amberleigh is definitely a keeper!
This is a great book! I have read a few romance books and have always been discouraged by their sexual content. One major plus about Amberleigh is that there are no sex scenes at all. The book focuses on a young girl who is forced into a lower quality life than she once hoped for, by a friend's mother and a costly death. She accepts this way of life, and therefore proves her true friendship. She struggles with self-image problems, but also stays true to herself and her ideals. It is easy to identify with Amberleigh and her problems. One also can't help but have sympathy for her, as she struggles with more than one dark secret that could cost her life. This is definitely a keeper, and has long since found a spot on my shelf!

Well-written, eye-opening likely future for America
Author predicts America will become a multiracial state due to non-White immigration. This will lead to increased racial problems and groups will seek their own racial enclaves in the US. Leaving us like the Balkans. Our once great opportunity will be lost.

I especially liked the information on and the analysis of multiracial states like Brazil and Belgium. I've read it twice and it's worth the wait. Readers might also want to consider "My Awakening" by David Duke who offers a excellent though blunter analysis.

Shows where America is headed and why
This book is an excellent source of information on what America's future is under the present (since 1965 to now) policies on immigration. The USA is headed for a Balkans type civil war, a real "civil war" this time. It reinforces what Thomas W. Chittum has already pointed out in his book Civil War Two. Be prepared, because like it or not, it's coming.
