Wonderful!!!!

I'll need some books about 3d studio max TutorialsThanks for any respons! :-)
An excellent set of 3DS MAX tutorialsThe authors appear to really know MAX and organized the training material so that it can be worked through either sequentially or in order of your current interest. I was able to view two tutorials of immediate use without having to wade through prior material. The tutorial on rendering multiple camera views in VP was interesting. So far, there have been no bad experiences with this product.
Models and materials on the CD alone make it worth the cost. The tutorial information is icing on the cake.
On the downside, the product does require obtaining an authorization code. I received the CD on a Friday, but was not able to use it until late Monday nite. You ! should call in to get the code (do not send e-mail). Fortunately, it was worth the wait.

History lovers buy this book!
Excellent overview of Jewish history for kidsBecause its scope is so large for such a short book, The Amazing Adventures of the Jewish People only touches upon each period of Jewish history briefly. In four or five pages, Dimont can cover hundreds of years. Nevertheless, by focusing on surprising facts and unusual situations, the book manages to present a very readable account. Because each of the thirty-six chapters is centered on a single issue or crisis in Jewish history, Dimont manages to simultaneously provide both a chronological and topical approach to the subject.
History is presented as the result of the specific decisions of historical figures, presented at their most heroic (and villainous), within the context of the great events of their time-periods. Characterizations are tempered with interesting biographical details that help to personalize the constant stream of names. Religious, political, and intellectual figures share the spotlight, leading to a clear sense that Judaism is more than a religion or nationality.
Written with so much clear enthusiasm, it is hard not to get caught up and to share Dimont's excitement. Dimont has a good sense of narrative and of detail, and knows how to balance between the two to tell an engaging story. Each chapter concludes by introducing the challenge that will be faced in the next, in the "tune-in-next-time" style of the old silent serials. Although the "gee-whiz" tone may be off-putting to some readers, most will find the book lives up to the title and is an exhilarating read.

The areas covered include facts about revenue leakage, causes of revenue leaks, what some companies are doing now, how to get a revenue maximization initiative going within your organization, day-to-day processes, key automated tools, quantifiable monitoring mechanisms, and the future of revenue maximization. While the authors focus on an approach they call identify-quantify-capture, it is obvious that they have dealt in the real world. One of the places this shows though most clearly is in the section where they discuss the problems of getting an organization to commit to a program. It includes detailed discussion of some of the various commitment phases and the process of moving through those phases on the path to commitment. "To the Max" is a recommended read for anyone in business for their self or at the head of a large department or corporation. It is a highly recommended read if that business is involved in a highly detailed transactional business where thousands of transactions are detailed daily.
