Superb resource for all involved with Healing Touch
An excellent, readable, knowledgeable text book that will be referred to again and again. It contains so much information, and is indexed accurately so that you can find the relevant answers quickly. Diagrams are informative and useful.
To me this book is recommended for those already practicing H.T., or for those interested in gaining insight into Healing Touch with a view to entering the H.T. program. The Healing Touch program encourages people to participate in continued, life-long learning, and this book is a valuable resource.

Absoluttely essential resource for any "hands-on" healer.
No need for 1,000 more words. The above says it all. I loaned my copy to a client, forgot which one, and now must buy another. Can't practice without it.

If you can get this, do so
I have always wanted to visit Highgate, but economics keep me at home. There is a nice history of the cemetery and a it is wonderfully illustrated. If you are into cemeteries, Highgate is The Victorian Vallhalla and it amazes me that it is out of print. Wouldn't The Friends of Highgate make a couple bucks selling copies? There are graves I would have liked to have seen pictures of that aren't in it, Elizabeth Siddal for instance, but there are wonderful stories about the people who are there.

Beautiful, haunting....
I was surprised, when struck with curiosity about Highgate Cemetery, that there was so little information available about this beautiful and fascinating landmark. I managed to find this photographic study of the cemetery through my library. What a shame that it's no longer in print. (I believe it WAS in print in the UK until not so long ago, but last time I checked Amazon UK it wasn't there). Beautiful, well done photos, a record of a time when death was common and loved ones were remembered with spectacular display and tender words. Many of the photos were taken prior to the vandalism that occurred there in the 60's and 70's, so this may be one of the few records of how the place appeared before then. I highly recommend anyone to seek this out through an interlibrary loan.

Homework Solutions For Weary Students & Their Parents

A Must Have For Parents and Students
As a teacher in an elementary school, I am often faced with parents who are very concerned about getting their children to successfully face and complete homework. This gives parents a tool to use to finally get their children to take ownership of their assignments. It teaches the parents how to have the child take full responsibility for scheduling their day so assignments can be done. This is a mini-lesson in using a day-timer for students. Let's face it, in the real work world, we have to know how to organize our day. The book gives parents and children the opportunity to work together as a team on a life long skill. When conferencing with my students' parents, I recommend this book if they need a solution with a homework problem.

My son truly enjoys doing homework Now!
My Son is only 7 but our homework time was a nightmare. We could not even get started and the whining would set in. I bought this book, and realized allot of the problem was me and how I was handling him. I followed the steps in the book and would help him understand what he was feeling and soon the homework time was enjoyable for both of us. He started doing so well he was picked for Author of the Month from his class, on a homework assignment he had. I am very thankful for finding this book, and look forward to the years ahead of sharing the ideas with him this book provides.
Thank you,

Simply Awesome
Hooray, hooray! I couldn't put the book down. How genuinely touching it was. Every emotion was experienced as I read it in 1.5 days. This book receives my standing ovation and I too, think it would make an excellent movie. The realness of your reality is nothing short of amazing and I applaud your strength in writing it. It's about time someone dared to stand up and tell the truth about the hidden hurts and pain of children, not just in society but especially in the church. Victoria, whatever you do, continue to hold your head up, the shame is not yours. I would love to meet you one day just to shake your hand and tell you that I'm glad you're better and not bitter. Good luck on future endeavors. You are VICTORY!

Outstanding
This book is awesome. I could picture everything the author wrote and was wishing that it would become a movie. It could help many people with abuse or past abuse.

Although I've never met her, I found myself wanting to contact her and ask her more about the children in her family or just invite them over to talk. The book also made me angry enough to cry and again realize that some children from different generations were looked at as property and not human. They were told stories about the bible and themselves that were not totally true and were also held responsible for their parent's past misfortunes.

There are many people like the one's in Victoria's book. I applaude her for writing the book, the first adults who helped them, and send her my love and prayers for overnight success for delivering such a powerful and much needed message that will soon help so many people she won't be able to keep count.

Her book is wonderful! GOD BLESS YOU VICTORIA!

The saga continues.....
This is Arabella's story, and I think I enjoyed it only a little less than that of Bersaba and Angelet. (I like to hear two sides of a story.) I found Arabella a little dull, but I liked Harriet. :) Arabella seemed to lack the fire of her mother, Bersaba. All in all, this was a good book, but I figured out the ending wayy before I was finished.

Continuation of saga that began with Miracle at St. Bruno's
An exciting look at England during Cromwell's reign and after the triumphant return of Charles II. We are introduced to the adult Arabella, to Carlton, and to the irrepressible Harriet whose lives all continue in "The Love Child," "Song of the Siren," and "Will You Love Me In September." There is a little bit of everything in "Lament for A Lost Lover" - history, romance, and mystery. The reader can connect with the characters, share in the intrigue, feel their pain and rejoice at their happiness. The characters become friends who you will want to visit again and again. It is a book that can be enjoyed by itself or as part of the series that began with "Miracle at St. Bruno's."

For any problem, love is the solution.
The book focuses on attitudinal healing. The book has 4 parts. The first part introduces the notion of attitudinal healing. The second part deals with the issues of relationships. Part three develpes different stepping stones in the journey of attitudinal healing. This part deals with the ego and its role in fear based orientation to life. The basis idea is to recognize the role of split mind and heal it. One should transform fear into love. Final steping stone is the significance of forgiveness. The inner teacher is to be recognized and listened for guidance. Last part gives 15 lessons for daily meditations. For example, Lesson 10 " Today I forgive my parents totally, releasing us all from past ". Lesson 15 : I will be still for an instant. (Reminds Bible). Good book; ideal for gifts.

A simple but powerful message!
I first read this book about 7 years ago and at the time it had a transforming effect on my life. Based on the principles of "A Course in Miracles", yet light hearted and easy to read. While the message may seem too simple for those who believe that life is supposed to be difficult, if you apply the principles to your own life without judging them, you will see for yourself that sometimes it's the simple things in life that really make a difference. If you are interested in creating more meaningful relationships then this book will give you the skills you need to do so. Read it with an open mind and you just might find that Love Is the Answer!

Loving in the Dark

Self Love: The Best Love
As individuals, we all desire love and fulfillment from our loved ones and partners. While many of us are blessed to receive this in a positive, healthy manner, others seek it in such a desperate manner that it eventually leads to heartache and self-destruction. Victoria Warren explores this topic in her novel LOVING IN THE DARK.

In LOVING IN THE DARK, we are introduced to Samantha. A professional woman, she is like each of us, desiring love and fulfillment. After a bitter split, she meets Isaiah who she later marries. In the beginning, Isaiah seems to be the perfect mate, but as time passes, Samantha discovers that Isaiah is not all that he seems. Underneath the surface, he is abusive and carries secrets that will later play both a pivotal and life-changing role in Samantha's life. What secrets does Isaiah carry? How will Samantha be affected? The answers will surprise and move you.

From the beginning, Warren offers a story that is not only honest, but also powerful and real. Samantha is not simply a fictional character; she is so relatable that she could be your mother, sister, daughter, friend, niece or aunt. Warren allows Samantha's story to speak out with so much passion and emotion that you literally are taken on the journey with her, as if you are her spirit that is by her side. Known as "the Writing Messiah", Warren has proven this point through this book. She is indeed one author to watch.

My Auntie Victoria doing her thing.
I think this book was wondeful when my Auntie Victoria gave this book to me and my friends. People may wonder what an 14 year old is doing reading this book because I have to give my Auntie credit this is an good book that an African-America woman wrote. Well, I just want to tell everyone that you should take time to read Miss Victoria Warren book and her poetry book. You should also give her some credit for being an Black woman doing her thing and being independent.
