TREMENDOUS
What a tremendous book "Jonathan's Journey" was! Even at the age of 38 years old, I found that it helped ME understand the scarlet thread of love that is woven throughout the Scriptures. I read it to my 7 and 8 year old boys and they laughed and cried right along with me! They loved it and so did I. Take the time to read "Jonathan's Journey"...you'll not want to put it down!

Wonderful
Jonathan's Journey will answer questions about the saving grace of Jesus for the young and old alike. It's illustrations and descriptive content become real and alive to the reader. The words on the cover "Read and Grow Rich" are right on target. Thank you Katherine Bell for a beautiful book that can and will be shared by many Christian readers.

Katherine Bell 3:15
Jonathan's journey is so well written I find it difficult to describe. I have written to the Pope and asked that Katherine Bell be asked to write the next book in the bible - the woman is clearly touched ... by God. In fact I think she has been touched many times and on a regular basis.

Keeps Us Wanting More!!
The Christy Miller Series are the Best! Robin Jones Gunn is a genius. I loved the characters and the way they related to moments in my life. The characters are like real people that you just want to be part of that world that Christy, Todd, and all the rest of their group live in. Every book tells a part of Christy's life and the more you read the book the more you fall into every aspect of her life. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys books about love, life, friendship, and mystery....

GREAT BOOKS!
Hi, I just recently read the 2nd book of the college series of The Christy Miller series...I have read all 12 of the ones before it, and I commend the author TREMENDOUSLY! These books are so awesome. I couldn't put them down. I read the 2nd book in a day, and I have been raving about how great they are! I started reading them when I was about 13 and I loved them all. Christy's character related to me so much. These college books have helped me in so many ways. They have taught me more lessons than I ever thought possible in one book. I fell in Love with them. Todd is also a great character and he has the exact qualities every guy should have. I fell in love with him. Every Character in the book was great, I laughed at the things they said, and I cried at things They said. The books really helped me and I loved how they related to every area in my life. These books were so well written I felt like I was right there with the characters and I had become their friends, like I was apart of their group. It was just a great book and I know I'll read them all over again. They helped me also become stronger with God, lessons and bible verses showed me so many things! I will be sad when the series ends. Thank you to the author!

Awesome series!!! Must reads!!!!
The Christy Miller series was a Christmas present for me when I was, oh, about 11... I read all 12 of them in just a few days, I just couldn't put them down. They dealt with issues that I had never even thought about, and so I didn't get the "deeper" meanings at times, but since then, I have reread them all at least 5 times each, if not more, esp. the last couple (oh, I am 16 now) and recently the Christy and Todd college series came out and they continue the story of these amazing people. I am completely in love with Todd (lol), but seriously, I have developed major standards for my future boyfriends and husband after reading these books. They definately had a great influence on my life and I would recommend them to anyone, any age, cuz my mom read them and loved them too. I feel like I know Christy and TOdd and my friends laugh at me and call them my "book friends" cuz after the college series came out (just a few weeks ago) I talked about them and was so excited for them just like they were real people. Anyways, I hope there are guys like Todd like that!!!! JUST READ THESE BOOKS, and go on to the Sierra Jensen series and then the college series!!! They couldn't have higher ratings from my point of view!

One To Cherish
This is one of my Top Five books by Ms. Gunn. Christy and Todd finally make it official! They're now a couple. ::Sigh:: Though things are now perfect with Todd, her relationships with everyone else start to get messy. Katie starts dating a non-Christian, and her friendship with Christy starts to fall apart. And Doug is suddenly distant. And this guy, Fred, from yearbook keeps hanging around. Christy wants to spend more time Todd, but things just won't go as planned. They'll work it out, though. All I can say is this is definitly "one to cherish."

BEST BOOK SHE HAS EVER WRITTEN
THIS WAS THE BEST BOOK IN THE SEREIES. MY FAVORITE PART OF THE BOOK IS WHEN THEY ARE ALL ON THE BOAT AND KATIE GETS A BLACK EYE.I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD THEIR WERE TEARS IN MY EYES.THIS BOOK HAS HELPED ME A LOT AND IT HAS MADE ME WHANT TO FIND A GUY LIKE TODD AND DOUG.THIS BOOK WAS GREAT I HIGHLY RECOMEND YOU READ THIS BOOK. YOU WILL LAUGH AND CRY. THE BOOK IS AWESOME!!!!!!

This is the VERY best book in the whole series and trust me,all the books are very good!Todd makes a deep commitment in theirrelationship, and it is really sweet.Katies life gets really messed up when she gets a boyfriend who is a non-christian.And Doug seems Jellous that Christy and Todd are a couple.Very must-read!

A Wonderful Addition to a Wonderful Series!
'Surprise Endings' is a really good book. It opens with Christy about to try out for cheerleader. She finds a friend in Terri, another Christian girl trying out to be cheerleader, but another girl on the squad seems out to get Christy. Then there are the proms. Will Todd ask her to his? Will she go to her own? And just how badly does she want to be a cheerleader? With everything going on her life, Christy learns that people can only do so much, and some spaces only God can fill. This book will keep you guessing, and it truly has a 'surprise ending.'

Amazing
This book is amazing. I've got and read all of the Christy miller books...well all the ones that have been writen, and all of them are amazing. You feel as if you are there. It is hard to believe Christy miller and Todd Spencer and all the others in the book are made up...you feel as if they are good friends of yours. I have learned lots from these books. They help me with my life...Thanks Robin for writing so great books!

I LIKE THIS BOOK
I LIKE THIS BOOK, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHRISTY LET'S TERI TAKE HER PLACE ON THE CHEERLEADING SQUAD. SHE IS SO NICE. BUT I THINK NEXT PROM SHE SHOULD GO WITH TODD. HER PARENTS WOULD SAY YES, THEY LOVE TODD, AND SO DOES DAVID. I REALLY LIKE THIS BOOK.

Christy Miller-In General
So these books are the greatest!! They are full of words of wisdom, religion, romance, etc. What else could you want?!!? And you wil learn to LOVE Christy! By the time I was done reading them, (I read all of the series, I "inherited" them from my 20 year old sis when she got married!) I began to miss Christy. That sounds really weird, but its like shes your friend. Read them. Recommended for ages 11-17. (10 or 11 if you are mature for your age.)

Inspirational
I cannot tell you how good these books are!! They are very down to earth,inspirational,well-writen, religious, and the characters are very well developed and relatable. You read the first book and you are hooked! Going to a catholic school, these are good, not preachy, excellent religious books. I can relate to Christy and the other characters very well!

Christy Miller Books Rock! 1
The Christy Miller Series are awesome! They are inspiring, and life-like, they make you feel like Cristy is your best friend. I love how the books have such common problems, such as fitting in with a crowd, having a crush on a guy, a snooty aunt, and growing close to God. I guarantee that if you read the first book, you will get hooked!

Freedom From Legalistic Christianity
As a Christian who struggled with legalistic Christianity, the Lord used this book to open my eyes up to His saving G R A C E. I realized through this book that I can't do anything on my own and that even Christians try to live the Christian life without Christ. The Lord used this book to help me see that I don't need to live the Christian life by rules, laws, and regulations. Just by His grace. And when I come under His grace, everything else follows.

For every woman
I don't think there is a woman alive who would not be touched by this book. Rose Marie's struggles resonate with most women. We have given this book to many of our friends and they all have been encouraged.

From Fear to Freedom: Living as Sons and Daughters of God
This book is absolutely amazing. God truly speaks through her writing! If you are a woman who struggles with feeling like she doesn't "measure up," hates being "out of control," read this book! There is GRACE for God's children and there is acceptance in HIM! He loves us and is with us at ALL times!

Starry Night Reflections...
I read these books for the first time about two or three years ago, and have been re-reading them again recently. They're such good books. In this novel, Christy again feels the restrictions placed on her by her over-protective parents when she has to spend Christmas with her family instead of her friends. But Marti steps in and the Rose Bowl Parade turns out a pretty good experience. Only, all her relationships seem up in the air. She hasn't heard from Todd, can't find a chance to talk with Rick, and even ends up on the outs with Katie. And why hasn't she ever noticed Doug this way before? This is one of my favorite Christy novels...I love her "starry night reflections."

I love these books!
I really like this book! Especially when Todd came back. I cried. I'm a book lover especially of these books. I just can't wait till the Todd and Christy Series. I love them together. I hope they stay together FOREVER. This book helps me in my life as a young christian.

Christy keeps gettin better
This book tells the ups and downs of fixing realationships and hoping you still have them with other people.Christy is trying to resolve thigs with Rick ,and of course always thinking of Tood.I hope mrs. Gunn comes out with more books .Im hooked!

Great book -- sort of.
I'm 55 and too old to learn anything, but understanding the basic principle of which Miller and Hendricks write has been really helpful and I've thought about it many times in the past year or so since I read the book. I've been able to much better understand myself and those around me and to give better advice. I even bought copies for both of my sons. Unfortunately, the explanation of the principle was much more interesting than the authors' application, which for me became rather pedantic. Regardless, it's a valuable read -- just do the first half (5 stars), then rip off the last half (2 stars) and toss it! Seriously, READ THE BOOK!

A book that uncovers the dignity of the human person
At last, a book on vocation and job placement that celebrates the giftedness of the individual rather than attempting to pigeonhole people into personality types.

Debunks the myth of 'becoming'... the idea (so popular in modern culture) that people are basically 'self-made' rather than gifted by God.

A worthwhile read for anyone looking to surface their unique gifts and gain insight into how to put them at the service of the human family.

Why You Can't Be Anything You Want to Be . . . .
This book should be a must for all high school and college students. The author has practical exercises and information on finding out about ourselves, our choice of careers, and our relationships. In addition the information in this book will break down the barriers as to what makes us really happy and why.

A Bit Of a Let Down...Good But Not Great
This is a good book, but not as good as most of the series. The plot sounds interesting, and is set up to be good, but it was kind of a dissapointment to me. They don't even get skiing until the last 4 chapters, and you would not expect the 'more than hitting the slopes' part. The 'mysterious package' is barely part of the story, just a page or so at the end. It's an alright book, but a bit of a let-down compared to others in the series. I still suggest you read it to keep relevent with the story line, but when I read it I wasn't that impressed. I'm going to re-read it now that I'm a bit older and see if I have different impressions.

So Totally a God - Thing!
This book is really good! It is about the importance of choosing friends, should you go with what is right, or what is cool? Christy goes on a skiing trip, humiliates herself on the slopes, and is forced to choose between Katie and the "cool" crowd. It is so totally a God Thing and everyone should read it!

this book is really good.....
......just like the other christy miller books! It teaches christy and katie that they are worth so much 2 eachother. Christy is excepted into the popular crowd and katie is not. I think it was great Christy stuck by katie in the end. The last chapter is so sweet. I'll give you a hint...It is about todd.

good book, super religious
Definately a Christian-oriented book, super religious, but if that is for you, this was a nice, gentle introduction to homeschooling andlearning about things that interest the child. Nice pictures

cute and soft intro to homeschool
I am going to star thomeschooling my 4 year old next fall and wanted to introduce her to the idea. With this book, I think it captures the idea in a nice, comforting way and shows the child that homeschooling can be fun! Loved the biblical passages, too.

A Starting School Book for Homeschoolers!
I was so delighted to find a book about a character who is about to begin school at home rather than going off to school! And this book has wonderfully fun sound effects ("BOING!" and "CREAK,") which add to the read-aloud experience. Also, the book captured the essence of homeschooling wonderfully - that it is a fun, low-stress way to learn. I hope that this author writes more children's books with homeschooled characters.
