A perfectly wonderful Christian Horse Book
This story is about a girl named Cassie Holbrook and her friends, J.J. and Iggy. She thinks that she's not best at anything. Cassie competes in the Misty Falls Fair in town, and she's thinks she can win blue ribbons with her pony, Chester and her own recipe called Snickerdoodles. When she turns to God for help, she learns that God can help her through difficulties, especially when horrid things happens to Chester and her cookies right before the contest day. She learns that God helps her in very different and better ways.
This book is sensational! I can't wait till I get the 2# one. This book is definently the beginning of a swell book collection. It's a real fun book! Horse lovers and non horse lovers would love it.

I love this Book!
I really love this book! It's really fun!

This is my girls favorite book!
I am so surprised to see the poor reviews of this book. My girls pull this wonderful book out all year long, and my youngest (5) has most of it memorized. It is a totally endearing book, and pulls you right into the story, so you feel like you are there in the Big Woods. I get such a good feeling from reading it to them. The children in the book received red mittens for Christmas in their stockings, and last year, that is all my girls wanted in their stockings! So I knitted them each a pair and they want to wear them, even though we live out in Nevada now! This is a lovely book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes the Little House series.

Excellent Christmas story for a bedtime book
This book is well-designed for young children. Not too many words per page; nice colorful pictures on each page; easy to follow story that keeps a little one's attention.

unbeatable
IF YOUR CANCER HAS NOT REACHED THE FINAL STAGE WHERE YOU CAN'T HOLD ANYTHING DOWN, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU... IF YOU DO WHAT THE DOCTOR SAYS YOUR CHANCES OF BEATING CANCER ARE 95% IF YOU PRAY ALSO AND ASK FOR GOD'S HELP IN HEALING YOU....

This is one of the best cleansing books ever done.
I was sceptical at first, but I found this cleanse to be highly effective. I and 12 of my girl friends {also my husband) had similar results. I lost 14 pounds of compacted mucous and toxic debris in 10 days of cleansing. My husband was even more apprehensive than I, but after doing the cleanse he experienced multiple benefits (libido, sperm count etc.) I'm in the body therapy business and this is the best of several i've tried. I recomend it to the old the infirm and the hopless as well as all you young folks out there. If you truly want to clean your small as well as large intestine and eliminate the hordes of parasites that live in our bowels and wreck havoc in our bodies, this is it!!!!

Coming Home To Your Body: Five Stars!
This is a beautifully, compassionately written little book on learning to honor your body, respect your needs, and take care of yourself. Berry teaches self-nurturance in one of the best ways that it can be fully experienced: on a moment-to-moment, daily basis. She encourages readers to take good care of their bodies through regular physicals, nutrition, exercise, massage, hot baths, and more. Included are delightfully sensual and joyous ideas for self-nurturance, and many little quizzes to see where you are in the process of self-nurturance. Extremely valuable for those who have become disconnected from their bodies, as well as for women who have experienced childhood trauma. A wonderful gift for a close friend or a sister. Most of all--for yourself! Highly recommended.

Excellant for an improved self-image
This book helped me de-program all those messages that make women think they have little value unless they are thin, firm and young. This book opened my eyes. Short, daily meditations teach us to enjoy and respect our miraculous bodies.

A wonderful idea!
This is wonderful! A Little House Book for even the youngest of readers! The complete books of the series may seem a little long for the little ones, this is great to get them familiar with the series. This book is kid sized, and is very well illustrated, the colors are vibrant, Laura would be proud, it is a very cute book! I will be buying more of these books in the future, the Farmer Boy Books are great for getting little boys interested in the Little House Series. A true Winner!

These books are great for new readers
I have always been a Little House fan, and I wanted to pass on the enjoyment of Laura and her friends to my 5 year old niece. She loves them so much and asks me when she is going to receive another one. It is our special thing because she will only let me read them to her!!

Sabrina,the doll
I thought it was funny when Sabrina was turned into a doll and then leading other people who have been turned into toys by Amanda to escape Amanda's toybox

Sabrina is a Doll Lovers Delight!
I loved this book! In my opinion it is the best of the series, any book with Sabrina on the cover has got to be good. The amusing plot of Amanda turning Sabrina into a doll thrilled and excited me. I loved how she solved the problem using quick wits to her advantage, and Amanda's disadvantage!

Come Home to Little House!
Since the first Little House series, boys and girls of all ages have eagerly kept up with the adventures of Martha, Charlotte, Caroline, Laura, and Rose. In the newest book in the Martha series, "Down to the Bonny Glen," there is so much happening! There is a wedding, new governesses, a flax harvest, and other events that add up to fun in this book. And, as usual, Martha finds a way to get into mischief in everything. Melissa Wiley has a marvelous ability to bring this time period to life for us. I enjoyed this book because it makes learning history fun by bringing it to life.

Melissa Wiley's best...
Down to the Bonny Glen is my favorite of all of the Martha books. It's great! I like how the book has so many parts to it. In The Far Side of the Loch, the big excitement is Martha's relitives coming to Farlie, but in Down to the Bonny Glen, there are many different things going on. From Miss Norrie to Miss Crow, from Mrs. Sandy to Mrs. Gow, from Schorcha Gow to Annie Davis, and from Martha to Grisie, this book is wonderful! If you especially like Little House in the Highlands, you will almost certainly love Down to the Bonny Glen.

The best compilation of Mary's messages.
This book contains the most important messages our Holy Mother has given us so far. This is like a manual that tells us what God expect us to do in order to save our souls from hell.

Este libro contiene los mensajes mas importantes que nuestra Santisima Madre nos ha dado. Es como un manual el cual nos dice que es los que Dios quiere que hagamos para salvar nuestras almas del el infierno.

Practical "how-to": buy in, don't sell out
The strength of this book is in its nuanced case studies, which show the real-life dilemmas of those who may be subject to bias -- minorities, women, the disabled, gay workers, etc. The case studies not only sketch out the situation but include follow-up analyses, labeled "what should "x" have done?", that model how to cope with difficult situations. Suppose you're a woman at an investment bank with a Ph.D in economics and a great record attracting clients, and your boss has you stereotyped as a research beetle? What if you're a secretary with a very popular boss, but his compliments about your dress and appearance make you uncomfortable? Or a Pakistani software engineer whose colleagues joke that you must be sympathetic to terrorists? Or a black sales manager whose subordinates go over your head to complain about your aggressive management style -- and your own boss passes on the complaints without checking into their validity or encouraging the complainers to confront you directly? The book shows how to educate colleagues and bosses in situations like these without alienating them. While some of the advice about corporate "get-ahead" behavior is a little generic, the case studies make the book as a whole practical, practical, practical. Those who feel like "outsiders" in their workplace and are looking for ways to form good relationships and have their skills recognized will find it truly useful.

Strategies Many Probably Need
Here is a brief excerpt from the Introduction: "A special caveat: In the book we describe group tendencies. But, as we all know, not all members of a group share the same beliefs, values, and behaviors. Moreover, this book is not intended to be a definitive study of every group discussed. Instead, it makes use of some distinctive tendencies in each group to demonstrate how these tendencies may affect personal interaction, teamwork, and promotional opportunities in the workplace." As the subtitle correctly suggests, the authors suggest seven strategies for success "when you're not a member of the dominant group in your workplace." That is, when you are outside and determined to get inside. Here are the strategies: 1. Check Your Baggage, 2. Call Out the Cavalry, 3. Accentuate the Positive, 4. Blow Your Horn, 5. Buy In, Don't Sell Out, 6. Know Your Rights, and 7. Have a Vision. Each of these seven strategies is carefully explained and then illustrated. The material is based on real-world experiences, strategies, and tactics recommended by real people. If you are (or feel that you are) excluded from the dominant group in your own workplace, I urge you to obtain a copy of this book and read it with appropriate care. Moreover, I presume to share a few personal caveats of my own. First, not all "in" groups are worthy of joining. Also, those who are "in" today may be "out" tomorrow and then "gone" soon thereafter. Finally, the strengths you now possess (ie what you have inside of yourself) such as intelligence, integrity, and passion are far more important than acceptance by a group whose members may lack them. Shakespeare's Polonius was right: "To thine ownself be true."
