I never knew there were so many things you could make with icing and an ice cream cone.I wish this Author would come out with some new books for us.Look up the ones he has done.This book shows you what to do to make ice cream cones look like teddy bears,rabbits,scarecrow,tiger,frog,fisherman,bride,baby,snowman,puppy,owl,elephant,and a man in a trash can.I love it! You can use these just by themselves or to put on a cake.

This is just what I was looking for: a cookbook for my grandchildren and myself to learn and enjoy making cupcakes together. They discuss the basic skills children learn while baking also the fun they have baking and eating them. This book gives you the opportunity to include kids in the baking process so that they feel helpful and good about the endeavor and we, the parents aren't frazzled by the experience. This book gives lots of tips about baking cupcakes with kids. This little cookbook also gives you recipes for frostings go with the yummy cupcakes you bake. These are a few of the chapters in the book: Cupcakes for Kids, Dinner Party Cupcakes, Fruit and Nut Cupcakes and Healthy Cupcakes. I really have enjoyed this book. I love to make cakes, cookies, and desserts with themes. This book is filled with all sorts of great ideas, and each recipe comes with several pictures. This colorful book features beautiful gingerbread cats, happy sun cookies, and they make shortbread into eye catching flowers. They have many recipes featuring chocolate. Since this book is based out of Great Britian it features many recipes on sponge cakes. It also has a good amount of ideas for holidays. This book is a wonderful source of new ideas.

Having just joined the world of cake decorating, I have found that the book have expanded my skills through detailed step by step examples. It also have enhanced my design ability to create more interesting cakes. What a great find that I cannot do without.

This book has innovative recipies for the diabetic and her friends, that are clever and tasty enough to be, actually, something you would want to prepare and eat. Ms. Meirelles is a Diabetic Educator. She gives witty and very entertaining talks to diabetic support groups in and around Oregon. Her husband is her assistant. She educates the the non-diabetic away from many of the fears and false impressions about being diabetic. She shows us how to let the diabetic decide for herself what and when she can eat, because she is capable of doing so. We diabetics get weary of others getting on our case! Her recipie books are the result taste testing of the recipies by herself and her husband . She claims she publishes only the ones he likes!

This is a book I loved as a child and still love. It's about a duchess who decides to surprise her family with a cake, with disasterous and hilarious results. The book fosters a love of kitchen creativity, as well as just being outrageously funny, as everyone blunders in trying to help improve the situation. It is written in verse, and I have read it to children of every age. Several children have told me it is a favorite of theirs, too. I would place this in the top ten books I would buy for children, along with the Curious George books, Dr Seuss, The Wheels on the Bus pop-up book, and Wild Child.

Here are what I consider to be good ingredients for successful missions: Clarity, simplicity, friendliness and creativity.

This book has it all. Although not long, I feel it has just the right amount of information for a beginner, like me. Each cake recipe and every type of decoration is shown in professional photographs. Information about materials, where to get them and what to do with them, is clear and concise, followed by step-by-step pictures.

The Essential Cake Decorator caught my eye a few years ago and once I opened it, Ms. Murfitt took me on a wonderful journey through marzipan, chocolate, sugar paste and piping techniques. Against all odds (I am definitely an amateur), I was successful whenever I followed instructions.

I haven't tried the big fancy cakes yet, but I keep looking at their photographs and it gives me food for thought...

Debbie Brown is an incredible artist and her work in this book is incredible. She has good recipes and explanations in her book. I highly recommend this to the adventurous decorator. I also recommend her other book "Loveable Character Cakes".

We love Froggy! My almost three year old son just loves the Froggy stories and this newest one is by far his favorite. Join Froggy as he goes through the steps to bake a cake! Great story for Preschoolers!
