If they are Lost, Find them with ManHunt: The Book
Upon review, I found this inch thick book to be a remarkable compendium of investigative techniques, tips, tricks etc that included national contacts for abandoned property, court clerks, governors offices, medical boards, dmv offices etc.

Incredible Up -To-Date Resource
Everyone that's looking for someone should have this book. It has absolutely everything you need including Internet resources, what to do if you don't get information that you've requested from the government, military resources, inmate locating information, numerous sources that you may not think of that you can access both online and through the mail and by phone. It's easy to understand and shows you step-by-step how to find any missing person in the US.

A Great Book
I read this one when I was younger, and I can still remember it. The plot is pretty silly, a kid puts up ..."Monster of the Year" billboard and suddenly real life monsters show up to participate in the contest. Coville does his own unique spin on the monsters, my favorite being the Creature from the Black Lagoon who has self esteem problems. All and All, a solid read

da bomb book
The book was really good and suspensful. It was the best book I've read in a long time. It's one of those books that keep you on your toes. If you dont believe me, BUY THE BOOK!

All or Nothing at All
This is the best selection to buy of Hawthorne's short stories because it is NOT a selection, it is complete and, if you believe the editor, it's actually more accurate in its assessment of what is and is not a Hawthorne story than some complete collections because he did not include here some stories that his co-editors on the Hawthorne Centenary Edition did want to include. (Hawthorne spent much of his career as an underpaid and unsung magazine writer and some of his work went with no byline and without reprinting at his own choice, so what he wrote is no easy matter to decide.) The stories are, you probably know if you're looking up this book, stark and wonderful. But some of them are also twee and a little fanciful and not so wonderful. That too is instructive. One very useful thing about this volume is that it includes a listing of when each story first saw print in magazine form and when in book form. In that way the reader can chart Hawthorne's development as a magazine writer and a professional which in every possible sense of the word he determined to become and despite some difficult odds finally was. Some of the most beautiful and terrifying stories in the language and a beautiful object to hold in your hand. Expensive, but if you can get it - this is the one to buy.

The Authoritative Hawthorne Collection
The only complaint I have about this book it its paper, which is "bible thin." The tales and sketches from all of Hawthorne's collections are included here, along with 16 previously uncollected stories. If you've read any of Hawthorne's more popularly anthologized tales, you will be amazed at the eloquence and quality of these lesser known jems.

An imaginative book that subtly teaches selflessness
I loved the book. My son really likes it too. There needs to be more books like this that reinforce the importance of giving of yourself. I hope the author writes many more stories.

This book is GREAT! I hope they put it back in print!
I have felt so much better since I have been practicing this way of eating. I have been on it for two weeks now and it is wonderful.

If you want to lose weight and have more energy, this is it.
I read this book and practiced its principles for one year. In the 1st 3 weeks I lost the 10 lbs. I could never get off. I had so much energy I drove my husband crazy. Even after going off of this diet I kept my weight off.

The best value more money reloading manual
This is, without any doubt, the best reloading manual avalible. It does not restrict itself to a particular brand or product, but rather generic terms ( i.e. loads for a 156 grain .308).

The manual starts with an introduction, and goes through a useful step by step guide on how to craft your own ammo. At all times, the manual is well illustrated with clear and appropraite photos. Chapters on rifle and pistol are there, as well as a useful treatise on the perils of pressure. And, of course, Harvey is at pains to point out safety at all times, and even illustrates that point with ample photos.

All popular calibers are covered although you will not find the more obscure rounds in here. Although described as for "new Zealand and Australia" there is nothing to suggest this wont be useful anywhere else in the world. He does refer to mainly Australian components, although equivalents are listed as well.

All in all, about the best reloading manual money can buy.

Grade: A

More than a reloading manual
An extremely comprehensive and thorough treatise on all aspects of the art of reloading. 240 pages in total, with over 80 dedicated to explanation and information. Lists reloading data for some of the more unusual calibres, and includes a good chapter on load development technique. An intelligent, astute writer.

Grand Canyon hiking as it really is
This is the most accurate representation of the true experience one gets in hiking the Grand Canyon. Other books I have read, actually written by super-hikers, can seriously misrepresent what a typical hiker will get into down there. Her style is also a very comfortable read. Nobody should hike in the Canyon without reading this book!

Great book!
This book is full of wonderful stories and very useful information on particular South Rim trails. It is not a trail guide, but rather a well-written and very interesting report on what it is like to backpack in the Grand Canyon.

Wittenberg Strikes Again!!
In yet another wonderful anthology of the Civil War, author Eric J. Wittenberg expands his library of work on Custer's successor in the Michigan 6th Cavalry, Brigadier General James H. Kidd. Wittenberg provides readers with a remarkable sense of reality, an inescapable feeling that they are sharing a personal fireside chat with a living, breathing veteran of our own Civil War.

"Under Custer's Command" is sure to please any readers of his previous collections of James Kidd. This latest book, a well-preserved and edited anthology of the personal letters of the young colonel and brevet brigadier general continues Wittenberg's efforts to detail the wartime activities of the Michigan 6th Cavalry. One of the most successful mounted commands during the war, the "Wolverine's" received far less acclaim and few of the accolades enjoyed by cavalry units led by men such as Jeb Stuart and Stonewall Jackson.

"One of Custer's Wolverines" is an exceptionally well-written collection of personal letters. Kidd's abilities as a writer breath life into his experiences and observations. As one of the few existing collections of first-person accounts, Wittenber's latest book expands and improves on the legend of Custer's cavalry. This wonderful book is a fantastic addition to any serious Civil War Custer library.

This is wonderful stuff!
I have always been a fan of the cavalry in the Civil War, and this book provides some of the best accounts from a cavalryman I have ever seen. Mr. Wittenberg has done a great job annotating these letters, and has made the letters flow. Kidd was a great writer, and Mr. Wittenberg has made his work all the better. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves cavalry, or who loves the Michigan Brigade and Custer's men.

The documents speak for themselves
As a intern for Dr. Newman on this particular book, I spent countless hours searching for documents in the National Archives - I know first hand the length he went to provide accurate details. Dr. Newman recounts the interesting story of a dark point in our nation's history. He is very careful not to speculate on the assassination of Kennedy - he deals only with the facts before him - CIA and FBI documents that display what they knew about Oswald. He leaves the rest to the 'assassination buffs'

Oswald and CIA: was there a connection? Author thinks so.
This is an important book in the Kennedy assassination genre. It contains the text of CIA documents not previouslypublished, attempting to establish a CIA connection withLee Harvey Oswald and subsequent efforts on the part of the CIA to conceal this connection through tampering with itsOswald files. The book is flawed by poor editing, andfrom time to time the author makes great leaps in his logic, but for all that, it is well worth the time spent reading. The book breaks off after Oswald's death. One can onlyhope that Mr. Newman writes another volume addressing post-assassination events, including the controversy surroundingthe bona fides of KGB defector Yuriy Nosenko and his claimto have been the KGB officer supervising the Oswald file inRussia

A Much-Needed Book
Despite being one of the fastest growing religious movements in the world today, contemporary Paganism has lacked a strong academic voice until now. While focusing primarily on Paganism in Britain, this collection of papers goes a long way towards filling that void. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone, Pagan or not, who desires a deeper understanding of the current Neo-Pagan movement worldwide.

Most current and thorough study of contemporary Paganism.
This collection of fascinating papers resulted from the first academic conference on contemporary Paganism in Britain. The chapters cover all the various traditions which fall under the umbrella of Paganism - Druidry, Witchcraft, Heathenism, Shamanism, Goddess Worship, various forms of magickal practice, etc. There is also an excellent overview of the roots of modern Paganism by Bristol historian Ronald Hutton. A good place to start learning about this "fastest growing religion in Britain" (BBC 'Everyman'). Best chapters are by Harvey, Harris, Simes and Sutcliffe. Excellent read!
