Gabriel's Fire - My favorite book ever!
Grabriel's Fire was a pleasure to read. I couldn't put it down. The way the author set this book up in the beginning was great. And she gave just enough information throughout to make my imagination go crazy. I couldn't wait to see what really happened next. My favorite character was Serinity (a simple Quaker girl). She was pure, sensitive and I fell in love with her from the beginning. Veronique Durand, on the other hand, is the character you love to hate. She is rotten to the core. I would find myself gritting my teeth as I read Veronique's thoughts and plots. Gabriel is the hero but is very unpredictable. He is always the gentleman but is also intimidating to his enemies. This book made me feel like I was a part of what was going on in the story. I really became involved. Gabriel's Fire is a MUST READ BOOK! You will not be disappointed.

Great Romance- I loved it! A must read!
Gloria Pedersen has done it again! Gabriel's Fire is one of the best Historical Romance Novels that I have read. I couldn't put it down.

It is so well written, I felt that I was actually there with the characters in the book feeling their joys and sorrows.

My favorite character was Serenity. The lifestyle she was raised in was a lot different than the one that Gabriel had. She, a wholesome Quaker woman, and Gabriel, an adventurous privateer. They came from different worlds, yet somehow managed to fall in love.

There are a lot of twists and turns that keep you in suspense. Do they finally confess their love for one another, or are their lives too different?

This is a must read! I hope to see more books from Gloria Pedersen. I will be looking for them.

Loved it! It's been several days since I read it and I can't stop thinking about it. Lot's of emotions going on everywhere, from the two leads, to the relatives. Very sweet story. My hats off to Cait!...

awesome
This book will leave you in suspense until the end. Not only was it romantic but it also was nice to know that there are good in guys out there even in the imaginary world. The book will keep you reading until you have finished it and would like to make your own sequel to it. It was awesome, if you haven't read it you should sit down and dive in it because it was very interesting.

ANOTHER GREAT FRONTIER!
Set in Colorado -- this story brings the Texas ex-lawman Gabriel Hart to Silver Falls, Colorado in search of revenge.
Also catching the train to Silver Falls, is the Colorado governer, Amos McCabe and his daughter Trina McCabe.
Using the pretext that her father needs protection Trina starts a flirting association with Gabe -- but they do run into trouble on the way. Ugh! a train ride in a snow storm? Not much fun.
Of course, being the headstrong girl that she is - she defintiely causes trouble by not listening - she gets herself kidnapped by Blackburn, Gabe's nemisis.

Gabriel Hart felt pulled toward Trina McCabe, was it Lust or Love? But he would be danged if he would let the feist miss with her sass and charms sidetrack him from getting his just revenge.
Trina was caught between Gabe and her papa - wanting to be with one and needing to help the other.
The great shock came on the return trip to Denver, she found Blackburn still alive and threatening both of her men. She needed to save them both [silly miss].
Once home she had her 3 brothers to contend with when she was caught by her brother Bo in a compromising situation with Gabe.
[grin - boy did she have to do some fast dancing]
You will love the way her family backs her and Gabe and thoroughly enjoy the way the story is resolved.
Highly recommended even with --M.

This romance is a real treat!
GABRIEL'S HEART by Madeline George is a real treat of a romance. Sprinkled with just the right amount of intrigue and passion, with a refreshing helping of good times through in for good measure. In her debut romance novel, Madeline George has hit upon the right recipe for a great romance.

If you like your romances with a touch of humor, paced with passion, and bristling with action, GABRIEL'S HEART will be right up your alley

Gabriel, God, and the Fuzzy Blanket from Kokomo
I just finished reading this lovely book to my son. I found it very easy to read with lots of things to peak a childs interest...the most fun was Gabriel! The illustrations were very well done and give a lot to look at. Annette Griessman has a way of describing things so that you don't need to see the illustrations to see what is going on. A great book to make a child use his/her imagination!

Teach Your Children Well
How in the world do you explain to a two, three, or even four year-old that God is always with us, ready to provide comfort and security during the "worst" of times? Annette Griessman has provided a wonderful parable that illustrates how God not only answers prayer, but sends special comfort too! Ms. Griessman is adept at portraying a child's fears and needs in such a way that it not only moves the youngsters hearing the tale, but reaches into the heart of the adult reader as well. She gently illustrates the omnipresence of God in a warm, practical, human way. David Erickson's illustrations compliment the warmth and richness of the storyline. His pictures are realistic enough to extract a grin from the reader, yet are childlike enough to reach the intended audience and augment the text. This picture book is a must have for any grandparent's library.

Grand Unified Theorem

Newton, Eistein, Oyibo?
As someone who strongly believes that math is for everyone, and that minorities and girls need to be encouraged in the field, I'm both excited by this publication of Dr. Oyibo's groundbreaking work, and too a bit disheartened that so few are likely to read it or know what it represents as a contribution to the study of both physics and mathematics.

Essentially, he has unified Einstein's Special and General theories of Relativity into a single mathematical proof. Even if this volumn were paper bound and sold for a quarter of the price, few people would purchase this book and fewer would understand much more than the introduction. In any case, hopefully some few will purchase it conspicuously, and then secretly resort to the many abstracts found on the web to better understand its importance.

Alas, we should get the message out there: women, Africans, persons with disabilities, EVERYONE can excel in mathematics!

Brilliant
Much work remains in terms of proving the physics. No one has gotten this far or accomplished this much, before Prof. Oyibo. When, and if, his GUT is finally confirmed, he will be ranked among the all-time greats.

Superb English, Italian, and Pictures
Mandlebaum's verse is beautiful: he manages to keep up an iambic 11-syllable line throughout the work--just like Dante. If you can bear his comically pedantic and effete introduction, his notes are very thorough(they even point out the location of the epigraph to "Proufrock"). This edition has the Italian on the opposite side of every page as well, so it will doubtless be useful to those lucky enough to be able to read Dante in the "linguo volgro". Plus, this edition has pictures too! How many other editions (save those with Dore's work) give you a PICTURE of Cerebrus?

Engrossing translation of a classic
The Circles of hell come to life in this verse translation by Allen Mendelbaum. Mendelbaum won a National Book Award for his translation of "The Aeneid of Virgil", and his translation of Dante's Inferno is equally superb.

The format of the book is italian and english, with translated pages on the opposite of the italian verses. There are some great illustations throughout the book, but it is the imagery created in your head that makes this such a great read.

Highly recommended. I have read other translated versions of Inferno, and this is by far the best I have read so far. An excellent book.

Most Revealing!
This book, Islam and the Jews was an eyeopener! It made clear the motivation for the actions and reactions in the Middle East situation and the reasons of the never ending conflict. I highly recommend this scholarly work. It is well thought out and presented in an orderly fashion. The religious "smoke screen" has been removed in this book!

recommendation by a seminary president
Islam and the Jews is a "MUST READ"book for every person really interested in the battle between the jews and muslins. Dr. Gabriel treats the subject with academic soundness, theological truth and Biblical clarity. Our Bible colege and seminary uses this book extensively in the training of pastors and Bible students the TRUTH about Islams intentions for the jewish people.May GOD through His Holy Spirit use this book to give Divine understanding of the issues discussed in this wonderful treatise. "BE WARNED" you will NEVER look at Islam and the Jews in the same light again after reading this masterpiece "Islam and the Jews". Dr. Gene A. Youngblood, president of CONSERVATIVE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY

Make Sense of the Middle East
Why do suicide bombers attack Israel the same day that leaders from Israel and the PLO are meeting to negotiate peace? If you want to know the real answer, then you need to read Islam and the Jews. This book is quick and easy to read, but it explains without apology the role Islam plays in the current problems in the Middle East.

Most significantly, the author himself is a former Muslim from Egypt who once fanned the flames of the rhetoric against Jews. Now a Christian who honors and admires the Jewish people, he seeks to expose the true teachings of Islam. The story of his own personal journey out of anti-Semitism grabs your attention in the beginning of the book-from his hiding under his bed during an Israeli air raid in 1967, to serving in the Egyptian army, to fiery sermons against the Jews preached at mosques in Egypt.

He does not rely on Western interpretations of Islam. Instead, he focuses on the Quran and the historical records about Muhammad's actions and teachings. He holds a doctorate degree in Islamic history from Al-Azhar University in Cairo.

After you read this book, the headlines you read about the Middle East every day will finally make sense. You may also be surprised to find that you feel a new sympathy toward those who are devoutly practicing Islam.

Excellent
I began using this book knowing nothing of JavaScript. I had never programmed either. The examples are thorough and well presented. Now that I have a better understanding of programming, it has precisely the information I need. Extremely useful for intermediate programmers.

This book is an excellent Javascript resource.
I found this to be a useful book for my web-site development. The material is comprehensive, the examples are good, and the information I was looking for was easy to find.

The coverage is thorough and professionally written.

A theological view of Clinton's manipulation of religion
This collection belongs on American bookshelves somewhere near the Federalist Papers and Common Sense. Written by American theological academics, few of whom could by any stretch be considered conservative, this book nonetheless objectively and honestly discusses the misuse and manipulation of religion by Bill Clinton to innoculate his presidency against the consequences of his sexual relations with "that" intern. This book is unique in that it presents an honest critique from the left on the Clinton presidency, and cannot be dismissed as driven by a conservative agenda to discredit the opposition. In fact, both sides of the discussion are thoroughly represented by various writers. Well written, articulate and thoughtful, this book is a valuable resource to be passed down to future generations in understanding the effect of the Clinton presidency on the American spirit.

Time tells
This is a thought-provoking book that will find a bigger audience with time, as history gives the electorate more perspective on our secular leaders who parade moral postures. Who one is does inform how one leads, and whether one should. The generation whose creed was "Question authority" should remember to require more answers.
