There are some amusing bits in here, but it's a weird mix of humor, confession and cynicism. It's too clunky in too many spots for me to rate it more highly.

This is a hardcover book showing the collected writings of Snoopy. It is a compendium of cartoons, publishers' rejection letters, visual jokes, and a mercifully short story, which rounds out this little tome. Written tongue in cheek and only numbering about sixty pages in length, it is strictly for die hard Snoopy fans. Anyone else will be disappointed.

I found this book in a used book store. This book is certainly a great resource for developers starting to use Cafe, but the CD only has source code, and is not accessible for developers that do not have Visual Cafe. Throughout the book, numerous spelling and grammatical mistakes were found. This book certainly needs an errata.

After reading most of this book, I would first like to say, that the only perfect man that ever walked the face of this earth,is our lord and saivor Jesus Christ, ones I found error in this book,I stop reading it. On page #62,Paul,quoting Joel, tells the glory of the Church in Acts two, this is not true. It was Peter, not Paul. But please don't believe me, Look for yourself. There may are may not be more, but this is the one,I found, this one is all I needed to see. Always keep both eyes open, seek ye the Truth. (AV1611) Forever.

I would suggest that instead of spending your hard-earned money on this book that you instead invest it in a copy of "Rightly Dividing The Word Of Truth" by C. I. Scofield which is also available from Amazon.
This book has proven to be a waste of time and money because the authors are "preterists" who mistakenly believe that all of the events described in the Book of Revelation took place between the years 33 A.D. and 70 A.D! If the book has any value at all it is because it will better accquaint you with the errors of preterism. "The Life And Errors Of The Westons And Other Preterists" would be a more appropriate title.

C.I. Scofield was a fine Christian man and pastor. He is a prime example of the difference Jesus Christ can make in one life. However, his writings, particular the notes in his Scofield Reference Bible, have exerted an influence far beyond Scofield's actual scholastic ability. Many Christians today hold the teachings of Scofield to be on part with the Scripture itself. However, the last time I checked, Scofield did not write any of the 66 books of the Bible.
This book does an adequate job of revealing that Scofield's theology is not without question. While some people equal questioning Scofield with questioning the Apostle Paul, this book does a good job of showing that Scofield's interpretation of Scripture is not the only one with merit. The book is not perfect, but it provides good food for thought. That is, assuming the reader does not equate second guessing Scofield with heresy.

I am in the midst of taking the third in a succession of algebra courses using this particular series of textbooks. This book, by far, surpasses the others in difficulty of use! Many of the illustrations seem to have little or no bearing upon the problems given and the explanations can be obscure at best. The book is also poorly edited making matters even worse. If you have never before experienced the height of frustration, I would recommend this book as a means of getting there. The sad part is that I really wanted to like algebra and this book has made it almost impossible.

This is the third algebra class I've taken and I received an A on my other two classes. Using this textbook, I'll be fortunate to pass. The problems are not explained well, there are not examples for every type of problem, the review problems and test at the end of each chapter do not having the corresponding section from which they were taken. The way the authors explain problems are different from what I was taught before. Given a choice, I would not buy this textbook. I have to go to my intermediate text by a different author and even that doesn't help much.

This book will leave you dazed and confused if you don't have a lot of mathematical background. The authors assume that you already know everything about algebra and don't really explain certain things or steps that you need to take to get a certain answer. In order to completely understand this book you need the intermediate algebra book that has been written by almost all the same authors... If you don't use the intermediate algebra book as a reference you'll just be dazed and confused!

it's a bit boring and was written by one of Charles Dickens's children. Most classic lovers will probbaly enjoy it.

This book is written in a similar style to Dickens's works. The author was one of Dickens's children. Classic-lovers will love it but people who are not into that style will generally not prefer it.

I first saw this book about a year ago and bought imediatly because of this beeing rumored to be one of the better books out there on the subject but to my surprise I found that this book is filled with ALOT of mistakes, Figures are listed under the wrong names and some of them didn't come with the accessories that the author claims that they did - If you are thinking of buying this book then don't - amazon has ALOT of books that are much better at describing the this toyline!
