Serenity for Every Day; Complete New Testament with Psalms
The parallels made between the 12 steps and the Gospel is enlightening and encouraging. This Bible has been extremely helpful and comforting in my recovery and walk with the Lord. I already own one copy and am buying another copy for a friend of mine working on her sobriety. The format is easy to follow and understand. The resource information is invaluable.

Even better than the Wraith Player's Guide
Don't be fooled by the title- although it focuses on the dark side of every Wraith, this outstanding book contains tons of important information on all sorts of subjects- from exactly what your Eidolon IS, and when it comes into play, to roleplaying romance and love.

Other important topics covered include exactly how Castigation affects your Shadow- and while your Shadow is by definition your adversary, the isn't always your enemy. There is a lot more to Psyche/Shadow interaction than just "I'm the Good Guy, he's the Bad Guy."

Every Circle of Wraiths should have this one- you owe it to yourselves... and to your Shadows. :)

HUMBLE CHAUFFEUR WORKS FOR MULTI-MILLIONAIRE
I & L Publishing of Oroville, California wishes to introduce RICHARD C. HERZBRUN, Author of "THE SILVER CHAUFFEUR. This is Richard's first published book about his father Perry Herzbrun, who from humble beginnings became the Chauffeur of a Multi- Millionaire, James L. Flood of San Francisco. Perry Herzbrun was a multi-talented man who became best friends to James L. Flood, and being his Chauffeur, traveled with the family all over the world. The Flood autos were sent by ship, along with the family, to be used. There is over 100 pictures never before seen included in this book of the famous family and the Flood Estate, where Richard, youngest son of Perry Herzbrun, had thousands of acres as his playground. His father was quite an inventor. He built a tractor to pull the lawn mower from the parts of a Model A Ford, which attracted the attention of the Ford Motor Co. After Mr Flood died in the 1920's Perry left and went into the business of building

airplanes, teaching himself how to fly, and building a plane for each of his sons, Richard and Stan. He started a flying school teaching flying and some of his students became Aces. Richards next book will be published by I & L Publishing of Oroville, California and will be titled: "THE FLYING CHAUFFEUR". It will be published in a few months.

Spirited Yarns: Classic Humorous Ghost Stories (Spirited Yarns , Vol 2)

wonderful dramatization
This audio drama contains four short stories by great authors such as Henry James and Oscar Wilde. In my opinion, Wilde's Canterville Ghost is the best of the four. The special sound effect are both scary and humourous. Wilde's weird sense of humor about a British old ghost meets his match of an American family is perfectly interpreted in audio form by the producer of this audiobook.

St.James Fashion Encyclopedia: A survey of style
Not a day goes by that I don't pick up this book! An excellent collection of concise 20th century fashion designer's biographies. Interesting and acurate information arranged in alphabetical order. The information is so good that you forgive the book for not having photographs. Most of our students use the book for research on their favorite designers but, this book is also just a great read.

Star bridge
Published in Paperback by Berkley Pub. Corp (1977)

Used price: $1.10

This opened the door into hard SF for me
I first read "Star Bridge" in sixth grade at the age of 11; I'm now almost 43, and I still hold this as one of the greatest SF books I've read.

Williamson's imagery and wordcraft set the standard for many of today's modern masters. His antihero Horn, the eccentric man-with-a-secret Wu, and his decaying human empire are shown in high relief, and the imagery evoked burns itself into your mind permanently.

Find and read this book; do what you must to acquire a copy, and savor it slowly. Horn's passage through the Tube and hyperspace is one of the most stirring examinations of consciousness I've yet to read; it still moves me.

Find out why one man can move an empire...

It's a hauntingly beautiful psyco-horror from a poet's soul.
Stingmaster is word sculpture; an orignial concept merging classic constructs such as the revenge of nature with contemporary human heroics; infused with horror, passion, and soul-wrenching pathois. It is the most original work I've encountered. In this work are the tears of a dying universe and a parallelism to the human soul. I wouldn't doubt that it merely had too much power for common consumption. If you can find it, keep it. I let too many borrow my three copies: now I need one!

Delightful! Haigh's writing style makes Harry come alive.
A lighthearted yet deeply satisfying novel. Haigh's detailed writing style makes Harry Michaels and his companions come alive. You can feel the cold Derbyshire air, the love, the frustration, the sadness. An excellent read.

Superb, for those familiar with "Ulysses"
"Ulysses on the Liffey" is not the first book on "Ulysses" I'd reach for. That would be "'Ulysses' Annotated." But, Ellmann's views on Joyce's masterpiece are extremely valuable to those who've read Joyce, and more than once. Like Lang in his "Music of Western Civilization," Ellmann says much in little space. I'd say a top 10 book on "Ulysses," all told.
