INSPIRING YOUTH TO GET ACTIVE
I enjoyed Simon Makes Waves because he is adorable and he works hard to get to his goal of having his first surf board which is his dream. The book also shows safety and instructions from his parents. I enjoyed how the writer made family important as a team. My son reads this book everyday on our way to school, and we are nieghbors of the writter. My son is facinated with surfing and the character of Simon. Great ethics Jeff Lappin way to go!

Simon is Great
Simon is just like my son was at his age. Now I am reading it to my Grandson, who is just like Simon. Great book to read aloud and I like the instructional part. Good reading!

Sweet!!!
This is the most darling book! It is about a little kid who wants to be a surfer. The illustrations are wonderful and Simon is the cutest little beach boy you ever saw. It teaches responsiblity and has a nice interactive feature. I love the " Surf Dictionary at the end. You'll love it!!

Deep into the subconscious mind
The books character, Annie, is a lost woman who is found. Found with help from the spirit world who medium through the animals in the woods around her. I loved the concept behind the story. I feel that it would be a good book to put in school libraries as part of American Indian studies. How they think and feel, communicate and think. The author must have been a good mother. She writes in a profound educational manner.

A Strong and Purposeful Woman
This book was recommended to me and the reading was inspiring. The chapters display a gentle woman of determination. Her dedication is profound, and it is observed and answered.

I am touched by this communication, and re-read it, from time to time, for new insight. I will carry it in my consciousness always. Many good lessons to consider, and many thank yous to Walks Alone.

Truth In Fiction
There is so much spiritual truth woven into this story that I'm sure it must be Ms. Cheatham's own story. If so; she is a most courageous woman. It should be required reading for all Native Americans and anyone that thinks they may have even one drop of Indian Blood running through their veins. I loved it and hope Walks Alone continues to write. How about a sequel or wouldn't this make a fantastic movie? Go Girl, Go!

WOW EYE-OPENING
Fantastic material and presentation. Lots of fun to read. Great for things besides love relationships, too. Great for all interpersonal relationships.

Sensational Advice--A Must-Have for Love
This has to be the smartest book on getting, having and keeping love and your lover that I have ever read. She explains the three essentials of long lasting love in a way I never really understood. Since reading this I got my non-commital beau to propose, and, even better--HE THINKS IT WAS HIS IDEA!! Yea for Sharyn Wolf. I'm sending her a wedding invitation.

I really get it--what it takes to make him love me
I was confused with all the advice I heard about what makes two people fall in love. This book explains what chemistry is in a way that I actually see what to do to create it and to keep it going. I'm already noticing a difference with my guy. I've loved him a long time, but I never knew the right way to show it, the way that would make him love me back. I think this book is gonna be my first step down the aisle because it's so precise and specific that it can't miss. I want to thank the author for all her thought and time. She really knows what she is talking about.

Wonderful!
A pig, two pigs, three... We all know about this story.
Here we are not only a wolf but also a tangram!
A wonderful idea!
The tangram is here to help the pigs.
The pig that success the best to use this tangram
will be the winner and will have many children!
The addition of the tangram made more attractive
this beautiful story. My children (4 and 7) are delighted:
they help me very well. The figures (duck, cat, rabbit,
candle, swan, house and boat) are relatively easy to make.

An Excellent Introduction
This book is an excellent introduction to tangrams and geometric shapes for young children. The reader learns the names of the geometric shapes as well as seeing several pictures made from tangrams as part of the story. The book includes a set of cardboard tangrams so the reader can replicate the shapes in the book (such as a boat, bunny, cat) and also make up new ones. Good suggestions are included for parents and teachers on how to use the materials for students at different ability levels.

Fascinating.
A fascinating story set in a fascinating world. Granted, it's aworld with which I am already familiar but it didn't seem to me that areader unfamiliar with the world would be hard-pressed to understand what was happening; Cassada seems to me to do an excellent job of providing background information to the uninitiated without boring those readers familiar with the White Wolf universe. The book did not read like a chronicle of a gaming campaign; the characters were fresh and compelling, and the plot flowed well. Neither did it seem to end unfulfillingly, as beginnings of trilogies frequently do; while we have seen a plotline that is left incomplete as a lead-in to the next book, enough loose ends are tied up that it does not feel as though we have simply read the first third of a story; we've read a full story, and there are others to follow. If there is a criticism, it is that there are a few too many sidhe (noble) characters, compared to the other kith. But this is truly nit-picking; this is a marvellous tale.

BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ GETS YOU HOOKED AND PULLS YOU IN.
I had never read a book about faries before, until my friend bought me this book. I was a little skeptical at first, because of the nature of the book, but once I started reading it I was compelled to read even more, as I learned about a world I knew nothing of. I have read all three books in this triliogy, and love them all! I must have read each one 5 times. Anyways I would Definetly recommend this book to anyone who reads even the slighest bit of Science Fiction or Fantasy. Please if you read this and am as happy with this book as I am e-mail me and give a review of your own, or just tell me what you thought of it, cause you know it's nice to keep in touch with people who share similar interests. My address is AMERRYMAN@HOTMAIL.COM again I give this book a ten and I'd give it an eleven if I could! P.S. Read the other books as well! (The Court of All Kings), and (Shadow on the Hills).

An incredible book, independant of the game it was based on
The Toybox, first book in the Immortal Eyes trillogy, is one of the richest novels based on a game that I have ever read. It begins with a young girl attempting to deal with her newfound knowledge of a fairy society living in San Fransisco, of which she is a part.

A cast of characters is introduced, comprised of changelings and humans with enourmously diverse personalities. The story then immediately takes you along a rich tapestry of fae lore and modern fantasy, ending with you wanting even more.

I heartily recommend it.

The Wild Vine
A TANTALIZING TALE: This superbly written novel, The Wild Vine, by authors Sandra Pesini and Shirley Mattson Wolf, kept me extremely interested in this captivating tale. Based on the actual experiences, this gripping novel depicts the traumatic, heart wrenching times that a young girl, Abigail, was forced to endure. The story details how she withstood the deceit and abuse forced upon her and how she faced the challenges that life had to offer with sheer courage. Every time I had to put this book down, I could not wait to read it again. This intriguing story has touched every emotion imaginable. I highly recommend this novel and would encourage everyone to read it and enter a world of intrigue and suspicion.

A tale for our times
Collaboratively written by Sandra Pesini and Shirley Mattson Wolf, The Wild Vine is an unusual, 577 page novel which is based on actual experiences. The Wild Vine tells a gripping story about the trauma and long-lasting ill effects that incest and life at a loveless orphanage inflict on a young girl named Abigail. The Wild Vine is a dark story of long-lasting scars and repercussions, and eventually overcoming the nigh-overwhelming challenge of dealing with impossible abuse, as the reader follows Abigail through adolescence and marriage. Compelling and recommended reading -- a tale for our times.

IT'S A WINNER
"Usually I enjoy crime novels or biographies. When I first started to read The Wild Vine. I expected it to be a novel for women. How mistaken I was! The Wild Vine has every kind of emotion imaginable. It is a novel portraying a family's dysfunction in all of its raw explosive drama. Truly a page turner with the impact of a heavyweight boxers left hook. Looking forward to a sequel."-Paul Surden, Philadelphia, Pa.

Her mother and her pick up a poorly treated wolf which they name Ruthie. Soon, their pack grows, and she has a family of 5 wolves. She realizes she is putting her family at risk, and she knows her 12 year old talented sister, is terrified! When danger strikes the wolves, however, her sister helps to save the wolves. This is the grrrrreatest book ever! :^)
I really enjoyed this book. Especially the end! (Which I won't give away!) I most definately recommend this book to anyone who likes a good (slightly)horror book!

best one
i've read up to the mummy so far and this is still the best one written it's probably the funniest ones and the hardest one to find out who the wolf man is. the gang goes up to the boondocks to hunt down the wolf man this book makes fun of the hat the most out of the ones i've read so far and has a lot more complexity than dracula.

The second book in a thrilling new teen horror series.
Nina, Joe, and Bob have accidentally released six movie monsters into the real world. They have managed to recapture the first of the monsters, Dracula, and send him back into the fictional movie world where he belongs. But there are five other monsters left to be found. When the teens here about attacks by a giant wolf in a small Florida ranching town, they know they've found the second monsters, the terrifying Wolf Man. But the stories they hear are conflicting. The Wolf Man has spread his evil, and now there is at least one other werewolf. Not only that, but the method they used to recapture Dracula isn't working here. Can Nina, Joe, and Bob find a way to send the Wolf Man back to where he belongs, or will they all become prey? This is the second book in the thrilling new Universal Monsters series. The ending leads right into the next book, which I can't wait to read.

Lyrical and intriuging
Kay Winters' Wolf Watch is a lyrical and intriguing story that that achieves a rare blend of poetry and realism. Winters is a rare and gifted poet and storyteller. This book is a must for all animal lovers!

A beautiful book
Wolf Watch by Kay Winters is one of those books that a child will read and remember when he grows up. It is not only beautifully illustrated (the paintings are breathtaking), but the prose is powerful and poetic as well. You really feel as though you are inside the wolf pack and the wolf's world. I was never particularly fond of wolves (Little Red Riding Hood and all), but after reading this book I have a much truer picture of this amazing animal. I am now a wolf fan and want to do what I can to help save the wolves. I wouldn't be surprised if this book inspired many children--and adults--to help save the wolf. It will also inspire children to care more about all animals, I think. Buy this book, read it yourself, and then give it to a child you care about.

My wolf loving son's favorite book
My 6 year old son loves this book. He has checked it out from his school libary about 4 times since the begining of the school year. This book is well written, with beautiful illustrations. The story is told in a sort of poetic manner. Sheds light on how wolf life is in a way that isn't bloody or scarey for younger children. My sons favorite animal is the wolf. Santa plans on bringing this book to my son for Christmas.
