An engaging, beautifully illustrated, wonderful picturebook.
The Baron Of Grogzwig is a wonderfully original Charles Dickens ghost story that is adeptly edited into a picturebook format by Shirley Greenway and charmingly illustrated by Rowan Barnes-Murphy. It's the story of young Baron Von Koeldwethout of Grogzwig, Germany, who lives in a fine, old crumbling castle with excellent hunting. But the baron grows discontented with simply doing what he likes every day and decides to get married. He woos the daughter of the Baron Von Swillenhausen and takes up the joys of family life. But by the time he is a fat and hearty forty-eight years of age the baron finds himself saddled with an unhappy wife, thirteen children, and no fortune, feasting, revelry, or hunting! Depressed, the baron decides to end it all. As he sat and thought about his present troubles and the happy days of his bachelorhood, he sees the apparition of the "Genius of Despair and Suicide" before him. Can the baron defeat this ghastly apparition and retain his contented good humor -- or is this the end? An engaging picturebook story, beautifully illustrated and wonderfully told.

A beautifully written book for spiritual seekers of any age!
The author, Virginia Fields has lovingly written her insights and inspirations that help seekers of any age find enlightenment and tread their spiritual path to God. After trying many years to study the original "Search for God" texts channeled by Edgar Cayce, I find "Beginning the Search" is not only easier to read, but more relevant to my spiritual needs. Each lesson or chapter in the book ends with spiritual growth activities the reader can use to integrate the teachings into his or her daily life. Individuals or groups who study this material will not only improve their lives, but will help change the world.

Behind Numerology: Complete Details on the Hidden Meaning of Letters and Numbers

For the Serious Seeker
For 6 or 7 years, I have been a student of numerology and have studied many books and authors' ideas, styles, etc. "Behind Numerology", as well as her subsequent book, "Numerology and the English Cabalah", have elevated my study and insight to a whole new level. Both books are a must for the serious seeker and student. This author has done tremendous research and supports modern numerology from its ancient roots. She provides the most comprehensive explanations, meanings, and coverage of the numbers and the alphabet/letters that I have ever seen. Further, she details the evolution of the ancient alphabet from the Phoenician and Hebrew times to present day, as well as introducing linkages with gematria, temurah & notariqn; the Tree of Sephiroth; and the Tarot. There are many examples and interpretations; charts; and reference tables. Compound, master, and mystic numbers are covered as well as a host of other information. Even after years of study, once I read both of her books, I now feel that I have only just begun....there is so much depth to this subject if one is so inclined to pursue it. Both books also provide an enormous amount of reference to supporting resource material. Obviously, I highly recommend these books for advanced study. I believe these books are both currently out-of-print, but they can be found through the the various resources offered online and are well worth the effort.

A valuable compendium of classroom projects and lesson plans
The author has gathered a treasure trove of usable ideas, approaches, games and activities to enliven the Jewish classroom. There are year starters and ideas for closure, activities for holidays and life cycle events, for performing mitzvot and for bringing history to life. Loose organization is the only drawback. After marking up my copy, I ordered a copy for each of my teachers.
