Poor presentation
I agree with the previous reviewer. Great concept but the book does not get the job done. question format is loose and does not match the format of Interventional Boards which the book is supposed to help you with. There is frequent sojourns from fact to opinion.

The authors are well informed and recognized experts in the field. Also there is a need for a book such as this in the interventional field. They should clean it up in their next edition.

Good concept, but very poorly done
This ought to be the perfect review for the interventional cardiology boards. It is a very complete review of all aspects of interventional cardiology in a question and answer format. The authors pride themselves on being extremely current in the literature. But I have never seen a book so riddled with errors. The answers are so often wrong is it pathetic. I can't honestly believe that anyone proof read the book. There must be at least 50 wrong answers. Get the Cindy Grines book. A bit less current, but at least you can trust what she says.

Another mediocre book by Jan Williams
This book was OK, 10 editions ago when there were few competitors. However, currently there are several introductory Accounting books which handle the subject matter in a more topical and more interesting fashion. Skip this one!

A Disappointment
I ordered this book because, as a person that has hepatitis C, I am desperate for useful information about this confusing disease. There is very little good, practical literature available about hepatitis C. This book might be of some value to a newly diagnosed "hepper", but I found that it focused mainly on the spiritual aspect of healing. It also outlined a "12 step program" for hep sufferers. I personally get my spiritual needs met through prayer and religion. I want facts on nutrition, alternative treatments and other ways to make this disease more bearable. I would not recommend this book to anyone that is seeking to educate themselves about this "mystery" disease in order to improve their quality of health. Get some milk thistle extract, improve your diet, use appropriate supplements and keep on seeking the truth about this insidious disease. This book won't help you with the real burdens of hepatitis C. Honestly, David Highum

A case study, not a resource for men with history of abuse
I was expecting a book in which the author related his personal experiences then sought to use his experiences as a therapist and a man who suffered through abuse to offer some guidance to others who have experienced similar trauma. Instead the book reads like a barely edited journal that the author kept during his time in therapy. EVERY personal detail, no matter how small, is included. The reader will get to experience all the negative emotions that the author goes through as well as getting descriptions of day to day living.
I also could not relate to the "insiders" part of the therapy. The insiders are various beings that the author sees as he works through his trauma. I have no reference for this so I found little use for the great attention paid to the changing relationships and states of being of these alternate beings. This book may be useful as a case study but I find little to gain from it as a person who is seeking broader perspectives on how to move beyond the pain caused by such abuse. The book is too focused on the author's individual experiences.
