I purchased this Bible edited by John Hagee, as a source of prophetic information, given the amount of study that Bro. Hagee has completed. It has far exceeded my wishes and has now become my favorite Bible. Bro. Hagee has given us the best of his prophetic insight, coupled with the "time proven" King James Version of the Bible.

If you are looking to improve your understanding of "end time" prophecy, you can't do better than to rely on this Bible as the basis of your study.

I loved this book. Nothing so far that I have read by or about men has moved me beyond my own sexism like the vulnerability that allowed me to touch the hearts and souls of the men who wrote the words in this book. It was this book that caused me to look beyond the feminist agenda to incorporate the amazing number of boys who have been sexually abused. You won't find statistics in this book. But it will make you want to look for them. Boy children are no safer than girl children in this world. Until we *get* that, divide-and-conquer dynamics will keep us from ever being able to do anything about it.

'Speaking our Truth' is just that. A compilation of survivor's suffering and ultimate victory over male sexual abuse. He's given a venue to tie many different stories into common denominators that helps men to understand they are not alone in this experience. A 'must have' for survivors and their partners in recovery.

Even after I was able to start talking to a therapist about the abuse that I sufferred at the hands of a preist when I was 14 years old, I still was not able to truly accept that the abuse had actually happened to me. Neal King's collection of various men's uncensored accounts of their abuse and the feelings and descriptions of their struggles, gives any survivor of childhood abuse an opportunity to finally connect with the pain that affects every moment of our lives. When you feel like you may be ready to dance with your inner demons, this book is a perfect place to learn a few dance steps.

The stained glass window illustrations and simple, straightforward text allow readers to learn about young King Arthur. This book is a staple for me each year, as I read it to my second graders. Each year they love it! Sabuda provides a cool author's note too! Sabuda is a gifted storyteller/book creator!

This is, quite simply, a beautiful book. I wish it had been a little longer! The story, as the author admits at the end, comes right out of the Malory version of the Arthurian legend, which is perhaps the best known. This story, therefore, comes as no surprise to those of us who love King Arthur. The surprise here is in the illustrations. He has put us into the medieval tale in a new way by illustrating the story with stained glass windows. Well, that's how they look, anyway. And we are drawn through them into Arthur's time. Sabuda admits that he wrote and illustrated this one especially for the boys, and I can see how it would appeal to them. But there's nothing here that would turn off a girl's interest, either.

Sabuda is well known for his amazing pop-up books, and I have copies of all of them. I'm glad I've added this book to my collection. Although it's not a pop-up, it's a very interesting concept, and it's beautifully executed. I know the kids will love it! END

One of the best King Arthur stories. Definately the funniest. I don't know what else to say. Just read this book.

Most of the books on the Arthur legends are steeped in battle glory and mythical images, though Bergers imagery is good, what you'll take away from Arthur Rex is the emotions.Berger has a tremendous way of making you feel for characters while being able to see their funny side at the same time. They feel like real people who happened to live extraordinary lives nearly a thousand years ago. It's not all Arthur and Lancelot either, you'll get to know Gawaiyne and Gareth. the stor about Tristram and Isolde with melt the iciest of hearts. This book is a treat for anyone who loves Arthurian stories or satires. With vicious wit and strong characterization, how could you go wrong?

If you have an interest in offshore racing, take the time and read this compelling book about the father of the the industry. Ever heard of Thunderboat row? Find out the impact he had on some of the largest manufacturers in the country, and their attempts to to keep him out of the boat building business. You will learn about the rise and murder of Don Aronow and how state law enforcement of Florida(at the time led by the infamous Janet Reno) either bungled the investigation, or for whatever reason, let his death go unsolved. You will learn of the allegation that Don Aronow had ties to the mob, South American drug smugglers, and to the DEA. At the end you can surmise what you will of what his life was about, but you can't take away what he meant to the sport of offshore racing. Read it and pay homage.

This book has to be the best summary of politics, drug running, the offshore powerboat industry, the Mafia, crime, corruption and intrigue that I have ever read!! Aronow was an old friend of my family's in New Jersey and when he got murdered we all waited for the book to come out, sure enough it did and was excellent. Thomas Cleary has done us a great service by translating and/or collecting these works. He is a man of understanding and insight and these three volumes will threaten to make any reader who takes them seriously the same.

Any person who deals with anybody in any way should endeavor to grasp these fine works of wisdom. Not to do so is a mistake. As Confucius said, "If a mistake is not corrected, that is called a mistake."

Anyone interested in learning about leadership should go back to the classics. Clearly has done a great job putting together a collection of the most influencial eastern classics in three volumes. The five classics included in this volume present crucial aspects of human development and empowerment. The most insighful readings in my opinion are thunder in the Sky and The Book of the Five Rings. The first one talks about the skills and behavior of succesful leaders, while the second one deals with the art of confrontation and victory. Clearly's comments are very good in providing insights about the reading. My last recommendation is to start with the first volume: The Art of War by Sun Tzu.

I'm Canadian (but not First Nations) and laughed so much during the first of these cassettes that I had to stop and buy all of them. The humour is consistent, the delivery is excellent, and the topics are hilarious - I keep listening just to find out how many different ways Jasper Friendly Bear can make Tom buy his coffee.

This is possibly the funniest audio recording I own, but if you aren't Canadian, and/or Native American you probably shouldn't bother. They are able to make me laugh even while harpooning me for behaviours I have been guilty of, and while making incredibly cynical comments on European treatment of North America's first residents. Because of the humour, they can make comments that would otherwise be harsh beyond belief. The cast also has a fine sense of the plain slapstick, and absurd presented with great comic timing. I've had to pull the car over several times while listening to it because I was laughing too hard to drive safely.

This book has enlighted me to many phrases in the bible. I can find things much faster than just thumbing through. It is a great addition to my library.

Each Monday evening at Bible Study if we are not sure where to look when the Bible refers to diffferent books in the Bible this A to Z book has really helped out due to some confusing issues that are discussed in the Revelations Book. It would be a great gift and a great guide that each Bible Study should have at least one of. Thanks to a dear lady named Hannah who brought it! It has saved alot of time and you know an hour of Bible worship goes quickly!

If you were to have only one study Bible, this is it. It is packed with footnotes, references, doctrinal notes, maps, outlines, charts, personality profiles, archaeological facts, and a huge concordance. The center column includes references and also explanations of difficult words or phrases and the footnotes expand on the significance of the verses in the text. The importance of sound doctrine is emphasized, with an index to doctrinal pathes that take you from verse to verse of Scripture that clarifies and unlocks the meaning of theological truth. For example, the "Doctrine of Salvation" steps through "Gospel", "Salvation", "Reconciliation", "Propitiation", ..., touching on all of the facets of Salvation. To me, this is the most important and unique feature in this heavily laden feature-packed Study Bible. I've bought one for myself and one for my daughter. We plan on going through it together, and it should last a lifetime.

This is the King James Bible. No other Bible or book is better to read! I personally own this study bible. I highly recommend this study Bible to anyone who wants a quality Bible to grow in his or her relationship with Our Farther. Read it each day, and be blessed by the Lord.
