The WHOLE Series
Just for the record there are MORE than 12 books. Furthermore, yes, they are incredible. It's an ongoing adventure with a fantastic plot. I've used them to get my students into reading allowing them to DO something with their reading. But yes, there are more than 12, I DO in fact have them all and am NOT in fact interested in parting with them.

Great Series
The Lone Wolf series is a great series. I have all 12 books and am going through them all again. Get this book.

brillant book,period.
The book basically brings you right smack into the surreal world, whereby evil and good fight for control.I can say joe dever moves you with all the vivid memories of how lone wolf journeys through the land to arrive at durenor to get the sommerswerd. The book made me think about life in fact and could even control my feelings[angry, sad, etc.]with the vivid descriptions of the situations.UNFORTUNATELY the books are all out of print.I just wish joe dever would actually consider reprinting new issues,as i never had a chance to find out how lone wolf developed in the later issues.PLEASE DO REPUBLISH THE BOOKS.

A must have for the safe & effective use of tea tree oil.
It's a user friendly book, that has help me save money. It is very well cross referenced in the main section and in the index. I was surprised to find out the hundreds of ways as well as health and other uses tea tree oil is good for. It helped my teenage daughter clear-up her acne. Discovered tea tree is great for disinfecting and cleaning uses. Best idea was how to use tea tree oil with my regular toothpaste to get rid of plaque. The dentists hygenist asked me if I'd recently had my teeth cleaned, sincew there was so little plaque. That tip alone, made the book worth it.

Chock full of ways to use tea tree oil for health and beauty
Explains well the many ways to use this incredible natural remedy. A frined follwoed the books instructions and it healed the fungal infection on his foot. As the book recommended, I told a girlfriend to massage some onto her scalp and add some to her shampoo, to get rid of her itching scalp and dandruff that she had unsuccessfully tried many dandruff shampoos on, it worked. I used it for my eczema, like the book said and finally have something safe and easy to use for my skin problem. tea tree and this book are staples I wwould not want to be without - they are great!

User friendly self-health care book for tea tree oil.
The book explained and gave many scientific studies about the uses of tea tree oil. Which made me more comfortable about using tea tree oil. I liked the fact that the methods of using tea tree oil for each conditon, were clearly given. In a few weeks it helped me clear up swollen gums (gingivitis), and I discovered loads of other health, home and pet care uses because of the book. I browsed a few other books on the subject and this was the only one that told me how to safely use it on my dog, and gave the warning signs of tea tree oil poisoning of small pets and what to do about it. This book helped me discover the lot's of ways to safely use tea tree oil.

Brilliant, a masterwork of epic proportions...
The kingdoms hintbook is, without a doubt the most brilliant, moving and ultimately breathtaking novel of its day. It will grab you from the beginning and never let go. Few authors come to mind in comparison to this masterwork. Among them Chaucer, Dickens, and Mary Higgens Clark. I highly recomend this chef d'ouvre to anyone who enjoys classicly pronounced literature.

Rate a book thats not out yet?
I'd like to know how those two guys rated a book and a game that has not been released yet? Why would the web master allow these comments to be published. Lets all be a little more responsible please.

A Tale to Remember
I first read this book when I was in high school, and I absolutely fell in love with it. I have read it about 4 times now. It actually made me laugh and cry. I loved how the Navajo culture came out in the subtle "every day" way. She didn't bombard you with statistics and make you feel like you were reading a history book, however you really feel like you are getting to know the culture/history. It inspired admiration, sympathy, anger and hate towards the characters. Beautiful, beautiful story.

On a sad note, why are there no more books by Sabina Grant? The first thing I did when I finished reading this book was to try to find more books by her to buy and read, and it appears that this is the only one she wrote.

My favorite book
This book ranks number 1 in my favorite all time books. It is full of compassion, beauty and history. I have read it 5 times and will probably read it again one day. The writer had a way of weaving Navajo tradition into the fabric of the romance story and I fell in love with the Navajo people. I recommend this book very highly.

A moving story of a woman's forbidden love...
They were going West, the courageous young Elspeth and her beautiful but ailing married sister, leaving their civilized life in Boston for the uninhabited unknown. Elspeth told herself they were going for her sister's health, but when she looked into her brother-in-law's eyes she saw greed....

When they finally arrived near Santa Fe, Elspeth became friendly with Maria, a young Navajo girl captured and working as a slave. Through Maria, Elspeth began to respect the ways of the Navajo-and to be sympathetic when Maria's brother, Tall Man, swept into the village to rescue her....

From the moment Elspeth saw Tall Man, she could not get him out of her mind. She knew she would follow him to the ends of the earth, and that she would forsake her past to embrace the man and Navajo people, she had fallen in love with forever....

What About Me? A Guide for Men Helping Female Partners Deal with Childhood Sexual Abuse
Published in Paperback by Creative Bound (01 June, 1994)
Author: Grant Cameron
Amazon base price: $14.95

healing from sexual abuse
The book shocked me when I started reading it. It was as if I was reading about myself through the whole book. One of the chapters that covered suicide thoughts made me feel like I was not alone. Reading this book gave myself and my husband a better understanding of what to expect when healing from sexual abuse.
I can't say enough about this book. It's not only well written and very easy to understand but it is written by someone who has been through the healing process with his partner.
Thumbs up on this one!

Recommend this Book for ALL
Cameron takes you into the world of a child sexual abuse survivor and explains in layman terms how to help, deal, and cope with the process of healing. I brought this book for not only myself but my husband. My husband devoured the book in about a week. If you area survivor of child sexual abuse and really want to give your significant other or partner a gift buy this book. It will help them understand you, your feelings, and the child within. Actually my favorite chapter is the Child Within, where he speaks about the inner child. There are a lot of authors out there who DO NOT talk about the inner child as he does. With such understanding and sensitivity.

If you are a partner or significant other, you will find this book enlightening. You will finally understand the survivors anger, grief, and pain. You will learn how to back off and give space or embrace them for comfort.

This is also a good book for therapist who are working with couples or families. Highly recommended.

What Men Need to Know About Women Who Are Healing!
Grant Cameron and I argue constantly on the Internet on a number of subjects. However, this book was so right on target that I can find little to disagree with him. Grant's book helped me understand why my special friend is the way she is, and, in fact, the very things that she says are echoed by Grant from his own experience of helping his wife heal from childhood sexual abuse. The road to healing for the woman abused during childhood is hard and filled with difficulties, but partners may not be prepared for just how difficult the process may be on them. Grant has prepared an outline, a road map for those with the courage and concern to stand by the woman they love while she goes through the ordeal--and it is indeed an ordeal--of healing. If one is the same situation as Grand, they cannot do better than heed his advice and learn from his experiences.

Who's who in classical mythology
Published in Unknown Binding by Weidenfeld & Nicolson ()
Author: Michael Grant
Amazon base price: $
Average review score:

one of the best
This book is one of the best i've ever read on Greek/Roman myth, and i've read many in my life. This book contains entries on characters rarely found anywhere else such as Nox, the Greek personification of night. As such i often use this book as a measuring stick against other books in this area.

Great Reference On-The-Fly
Grant and Hazel have provided a finely grained and authoritative dictionary-style reference that is quite handy for identification of any figure from classical mythology. The book will prove useful for keeping at one's side when reading Homer, Hesiod, Sophocles, Euripides and company. Very helpful appendices include genealogical trees, alphabetical list of classical authors referred to, and clear and informative maps.

Resource Only
Who's Who is an excellent resource, but it is not meant for those who wish to sit down and read Greek myths. The book is set up in an encyclopedic fashion. References to specific Greek mythological figures are easy to locate. However if you are looking for Greek myths in story form, this is not the text for you.

Open your mind to possibilities
This is a book about possibilities. It is an excellent resource to anyone who is considering ideas outside the traditional religious teachings of our culture.

This is the best book on spirit guides I have read to date.
This book is an inspirational instruction book for your mediumistic self. Appealingly clear and free of ethereal, new-age jargon, it provides simple and powerful guidance for connecting with your own "companions in spirit." I read the entire book in one sitting, and found it was immediately useful, and the results illuminating! I find myself referring back to it over and over, as well as giving it as a gift to friends. Full of fascinating antecdotes and grounded advice from a seasoned professional, this is a great book for beginners as well as for experienced metaphysicians.

A hands-on guide to your guides in spirit
Ever needed a switchboard operator to help you with a connection... This book is one. Again, Laeh M. Garfield has the ability to entertain, while offering very down to earth ways to tackle the spirit world. With a lot of common sense and no new-age fog, one can learn to communicate with one's own spirit guides. This book contains a great many tips and stories on how to do that. With all the new-age books about spirits out there, this is a refreshing very valid book that has nothing in common with the airy-fairy way of its new-age peers. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in their own guardian-angel etc.

Amazon Tangvald Search Sparks Potential University Reunion
I cannot describe how thrilled I am to have arrived at the Amazon online reader review site. My name is Matthew Pennington, the book I was searching for is Peter Tangvald's "At any Cost" which I did read in a frantic fashion in 1994. I was not able to read at leisure since it was the only copy available and its owner "Thomas Tangvald" would be setting off on his modern day adventures within a week of my first page. Not only was I able to sit back and imagine the adventures of a certain Peter Tangvald but I was amongst few who could enjoy the stories told from experience by his son Thomas. I had never been inspired by the knowledge and approach to life by any other person to such an extent and doubt that I ever will again. It was a truly remarkable first year at Leeds University.
What a delight! A work lunchtime, during which I enquired via the Amazon web site with regard to the book, revealed that it was now available through this facility but also that my room mate of 1994/1995 had actually written a review on this site. Indeed, many mornings I would wake less than an arms length from Mark Blackburn in our twin room at the Bodington Hall of Residence to see Thomas walking past the window on stilts, climbing the 60 foot building in bare feet or playing his didgeridoo amongst other activities which other students could only mimic in an effort to appear different to the rest of society. Thomas really was different. He was and probably still is a one in a million "Geezer", friendly, understanding, incredibly clever but most of all eye opening in his "genuinely" unique charisma.

Since leaving University I have not seen or heard from Thomas or Mark Blackburn as both left with ambitions of travelling the world, Mark by plane and foot, Thomas by one man yacht. I did read an article in a National Newspaper which concerned Thomas leaving his yacht and swimming to shore through 15 foot waves during a storm in the River Humber. Believed dead, Thomas was later found by the coast guards to their amazement. Since then he has phoned my parents' house when he reported to my mother that he was in a phone box in the Isle of Man. I am quite sure that he will now be much further afield possibly the bahamas or other distant waters which he spent many hours recollecting tall stories to myself and Mark. I hope he is safe and that one day we will be able to meet again!

As for Mark, through Amazon I now hope to at least obtain an e-mail address and look forward to resuming a long lost friendship without the dirty socks and University studies!

Thomas Tangvald Connections
Having shared student accommodation with Thomas Tangvald, son of the author, I was fortunate enough to read this book. Thomas studied Mathematics at Leeds University from 1994-1997. Living next door to him, I learnt lots about his life and I was able to read his copy of this epic book. Thomas was one of the most popular characters at University and was a genius. I lost contact 3 years ago but I have a feeling he might be with his guardians in Andorra. On the other hand, he may have ventured back to the seas. Who knows ?

A "Must Read" for all seamen
Peter Tangvald was a man with great courage and a true seaman. I could not put "At any cost" down, and would wonder from chapter to chapter what Peters fate would be from port to port. He had much heartbreak in life loosing his wives and yet bringing up his children and putting their welfare first made you understand how all the women in his life must have seen the wonderful qualities in him, as a man as a father and husband. He definately was supplimented with his wives being very strong and determined women. It was shocking to learn that he and his daughter perished at sea and we will never know what or how it even happened. I am wondering how Thomas Tangvald survived and what he went on to do with his life and how it was he found his fathers writings. Did he ever see his step mother Florence and sister Carmen? It was wonderful that he did and a great tribute to his father to have them published.

daily pauses
When I need to center myself, or be inspired, and especially if I just have one minute before moving on to the next thing on my list of things to do, a quick reading from Way of Wisdom is perfect. It is just enough of a thought to keep my mind active and growing, but doesn't take much time. It is a good pick-me-up in down times, and the notes in the back are great when I want to explore an idea further. If you want small thoughts from Swedenborg, this is the book to try!

So Refreshing
This book is a must read. It contains some of the most useful and applicable spiritual guidelines that I have ever run across. It contains simple, easy to understand concepts about real life--relationships, marriage, the afterlife, prayer, selfishness, giving, guilt, usefulness, the list goes on. The format is easy to read and easy to understand, and the content is amazingly helpful. This is not one of those silly entertaining and yet useless life guides. It is a down to earth, realistic resource of ideas as to how to enrich your life.

Glimpses of Heaven
This book has gotten me through so much! I open it up when I need a little inspiration and always find a passage that speaks to where I'm at. I also love the comentary at the back. It really helps dig deeper into the passages by Emanuel Swedenborg. I highly recommend this books for anyone who wants some spirituality in their day.

Why Do I Feel So Down, When My Faith Should Lift Me Up?: How to Break the Three Links in the Chain of Emotional Bondage
Published in Paperback by Sovereign World Ltd (2000)
Author: Grant Mullen
Amazon base price: $14.99
Average review score:

A book of hope for depressed Christians
Dr. Mullen has written a book of hope for depression sufferers and families or caregivers of sufferers. This is not a clinical analysis of the problem, but a personal journey to which the reader can relate. The tone of this book is conversational, and not preachy or didactic, making it quite readable. Dr. Mullen gives the sufferer permission to feel the way he does and is not judgmental. Conversely he approaches this subject very seriously and does not give the reader the impression that there are easy answers. He does not propose a single formula for all sufferers, but rather he sees value in drug therapy, counselling and deliverance. The personal annecdotes included in this book are very encouraging and give hope to those who are suffering that others have indeed recovered. Dr. Mullen has done an excellent job of taking the guilt for feeling depressed out of the equation and given the sufferer the freedom to find help. This is a most readable book and highly recommended for Christians suffering from depression.

Required Reading for Christians Struggling with Depression
Unfortunately, the church isn't always a place of refuge for those of us who suffer with depression. In several circles, there is a stigma of spiritual weakness or lack of faith associated -- at a time when support is needed most.

Dr. Mullen examines all the issues in a very practical & spiritual manner, encouraging the reader to both lean on God and also to change the way he/she regards the illness. The author also covers the sometimes-controversial topic of taking medications to treat depression and other anxiety-related afflictions: take medication in order to feel well enough to be able to pray & take part in one's own recovery.

If you personally suffer from any of these problems, I hope you have the support you need from friends, family, and your church family. May Christ's blessings follow you daily.

truthful, to the point
This book has been a blessing to me. It describes my mood disorder and how to get the help I thought was not available. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has unhealed emotions from the past . Thank you Dr. Mullen for writing it.
