Excellent Research!
Another excellent work by Van Sertima! He investigates information from several disciplines to examine Pre-Columbian America. His notes/references are extensive as usual. Early America Revisited should be in every library, if not in every High School history classroom, right beside They Came Before Columbus....

great value
I've bought several books on Schiele's work over the years but this is, by
far, the best book I've seen so far on the artist's drawings and
watercolors. Plus, it's a great value! It's double the page count of any
other book and has more than double the reproductions of any other book. But
it is the same price (or cheaper) than a lot of other Schiele books out
there. The reproductions are fantastic and the text is really great. A great
buy for all art lovers.

El Lago De LA Luna: UN Relato De Ivan Gantschev

Best Loved book by Elementary School Students
I am a reading teacher at an elementary school. I have read this book to three classes that I have taught over a period of two and one half years. The ages of the kids range from 6 to 10 years old. All three groups have absolutely loved this book and asked me read it to them again and again. They love the shiny moon and the shiny moon rocks. In accordance with the curriculum of the program I work for, I read a new book every four days, but so far El Lago De La Luna has been the one that the children can't get enough of. Dazzle the Dinosaur comes in second place. I strongly recommend this book.

A superb reading experience
Esta novela es un verdadero asalto al corazon, al mismo tiempo que a la mente. Es un delicado balance entre buena literatura y referencias sutiles a la historia y a la cultura de la humanidad. No debe dejar de leerse.

The Essential Turgenev
Published in Hardcover by Northwestern University Press (1994)
Authors: Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev and Elizabeth Cheresh Allen
Amazon base price: $85.00
Average review score:

One of the greatest writers
Everybody should read some Turgenev. He was the man whom made the world outside Russia aware of that the great Russian literature existed. And he has inspired great western authors too, like Guy de Maupassant (whom in his turn inspired Chekhov), Henry James, Ernest Hemingway (whom again also admired Chekhov and Maupassant). By reading Turgenev today, one will find that his writing still is astonishingly modern and will continue to have influence on new generations of writers. Turgenev was one of the greatest and all of his tales are imbued with his unique feeling for the texture and dignity of all human in life.

excellent compilation, although spencer r crew and james e sims' article 'locating authenticity: fragments of a dialogue' can be repetitive, it makes excellent points in the section 'some locations of authenticity'.
