TPR made easy for the teacher!
IF you can find it, this is a great book to have. Especially good for lower level classes, the TPR based picutres introduce many verbs, nouns, and contexts. Can be modified to fit almost any level of class. Definitely one to add to your resource library.

Computed Radiography
Published in Hardcover by Springer Verlag (1987)
Authors: T. Iinuma, M. Takahashi, and Yukio Tateno
Amazon base price: $69.50
Average review score:

The best book on the subject
This book starts with the technical and theoretical aspects of computed radiology, and then, over several chapters, shows the clinical use and benefits of the technology in actual cases. Image presentation in the print is excellent. A little dated in terms of image acquisition capability and processing techniques.

Designer's Guide to Color 4

Good color reference
This book is a treasure when searching for innovative color combinations. Just when I thought I had run out of ideas, I found this book. It helps you use color in ways that you would not have thought of using them. The listing of the CMYK color is useful for print and can be transposed with the use of any graphics program into the RGB color. It is a great reference for web as well as print designers.

Wonderful prelude to an astounding series!
I adore the Urusei Yatsura series--it is one of the first manga I ever read! The characters are well-developed (at least the main ones are), the stories are hilarious, the art is to die for, and each subsequent book proves that Rumiko Takahashi is a genius. If you haven't read this series, I suggest you do so as soon as possible!

An excellent supplement to any MT-related curriculum
"Together with my MT correspondence course from PCDI, I work through this book as well because it focuses on the "other" important aspects of becoming a successful medical transcriptionist. I highly recommend it to any human biology fanatic like me.

AWESOME!!! Fulfilled ALL my expectations!
After I bought Masako Takahasi and her husband Tony Cohen's book "Mexicolor", I thought no other book I purchased would EVER compare to that experience. When I discovered "Mexican Tiles", I opened it with fear and trepidation, hoping against all hope, yet hardly daring to believe that it could be even half as good as their first.

But this book is AWESOME!! I think I finally figured out why, after reading Tony Cohen's book "On Mexican Time": these people simply ADORE Mexico, and it comes through in everything they do. All of the wonder and breathless anticipation and teary-eyed beauty that I feel and am so hopelessly unqualified to express when I am either in Mexico or adding to my collection of artesania, Tony vividly portrays in his prose and Masako captures with her camera.

As for subject matter, I LOVE Talavera tiles, Talavera pottery, Talavera ANYTHING, because they are so INCREDIBLY Mexican, and this book is simply PAGE after GORGEOUS PAGE of Talavera-lined kitchens, bathrooms, stairs, floors...you name it, it's tiled. If you at all appreciate ethnic interior design or Mexican handicrafts, this is an AWESOME book!!!

Hilarious!! A Must Have!
The first story deals with a demented Girl-Panda drawing that comes to life and ends up dating Ranma (!)That one is really good for a laugh! The next story is the one that's the most entertaining. You think you know all the characters by now? Well, in Ranma 1/2 vol.16, we get introduced to "Pantyhose" Taro. He is yet another victim of the "Accursed Springs of Jusenkyo", but what he turns into is super bizzare! Let's see if I can get this right: A MONKEY (or Yeti) riding an OX, while carrying an EEL and a CRANE was what drowned in the particular spring Taro was dunked in.(?!) Bizarre! This is an image you have to see for yourself! *On a side note: Happosai not only came up with the name "Pantyhose Taro", but he was the one who accidently dunked Taro into the Spring in the first place; so when Taro sees Happosai, he goes nuts! Anyways, Taro comes in and starts beating up our other unfortunate Jusenkyo visitors: Ryoga, Mousse, Shampoo, Genma and Ranma. I haven't really figured out why yet. So Ranma and the others get into an all-out battle with Taro who shows he's not one to be defeated that easily even when he's fighting Ranma, Shampoo, Mousse, and Ryoga all at once. Like all my other reviews, I don't want give too much away because Ranma 1/2 Vol. 16 is worth getting for your Ranma 1/2 collection.

Cheerleading Ranma
This contains the ending of book 19, which is surprising to say the least. We also meet up with Nodoka, who is Ranma's very sweet mother. There is only one problem with Ranma and his mother. Read it to find out.
