Pass on this one -- there are a lot of other better books!
The pages of this book are so badly designed that I couldn't force my eyes to read it. How can the authors' advice on graphics, layout and design be credible when their book design is so obviously lacking?

Grand Prix Champions: From Jackie Stewart to Michael Schumacher

THE ONLY THING WORTHWHILE ARE THE PHOTOS
Alan Henry is one of the greatest car racing newsman of all times. But sometimes he releases these cheaps books, made of photos and almost none text, just to get some easy money ( I guess ). THe result is this empty brief biography of F-1 world champions, that will serve only for beginners.

JUST FOR THE PAYCHECK
It's sad when an expert newsman like Alan Henry writes such a weak book about great F-1 champions. He can ( and indeed have !! ) write much better books than this one, where the photos save the day ...

A thin but still pleasing set of F1 "profiles in courage"
With 100+ photos but only 4-5 pages on each of 13 Formula One World Champions, this Alan Henry book is neither comprehensive nor detailed. Yet it still manages to delve behind the helmets and provide some riveting moments in the careers of each of these tremendously gifted athletes. Henry's profile of Englishman James Hunt is particularly good, but many will question the logic (if any) that went into selecting the drivers for this book, since it leaves out so many great F1 champions.

Key to Optimizing and Tuning Windows Nt 4.0 (Windows Nt Magazine Instant Solutions)

Worst NT Book Ever
I have read many, many books on Networking and NT and I can honestly say this is the worst book ever written on the subject. Anyone with 5 minutes worth of experience with NT will already know 99% of this book. In my professional opinion, this book gets the big crappy. It's sad to see that a group with such an outstanding performance record (Windows NT Magazine) would put their name on such an inferior book.

Almost no useful information in this book
Out of the 225 pages in this book, there are possibly only 5 pages with useful information for tuning NT 4.0. However, if you want to know what File/Exit does in Performance Monitor, check out page 35. File/Open and File/Save for network monitor are described nicely on page 91. Save your money.

Do not waste your money!
I am a MCSE who looked at this book for use when studying for my tests. Now, a networking class is using this as a manual and I have to say something. This book does not cover the material well enough to take the tests nor in depth enough to actually do Enterprise networking with NT.

rehash of already published material
I did the practice tests for IIS4.0 and there were almost the same as in the Exam Cram. The tests also did not prepare you to take the actual Microsoft exam. I would not recomend buying this book, if the other practice tests are anything like IIS. I returned my copy, so I will not be finding out.
