Runaway Jim & a stolen red trailer
This book is the direct sequel to Trixie Belden and the Secret of the Mansion, which really must be read first. On the quest to find Jim -- on the lam from his evil stepfather Jonsey -- Trixie, Honey, and Miss Trask arrive in the Autoville trailer park, and the girls eventually find the dual mysteries of Jim's whereabouts and a stolen red trailer converging in one area of countryside.

The Red Trailer Mystery does get confusing and could have used a map, but the author summarizes the action periodically, and it sounds natural and helps develop the reader's comprehension and critical thinking.

I think this series gave me an appreciation in my adult life for the benefits of family, community, and enduring friendships.

great
l too loved these books and still have the whole set funny how these can be so much fun to read even after all these years....nope l dont wanta sell them....LOL

This was my very favorite Trixie book!
As a young girl (like seven years ago!), my mom pulled out a box from the attic when I showed an interest in reading. In the box were the first fifteen Trixie books. I have treasured them dearly. Number 2 is still my favorite! I have enjoyed reading and collecting the rest of the set. I have only 3 left to find! - Julie Major

Civility Rules!
I was most impressed by the tone of the book. I expected a "stuffy" list of do's and don'ts only to find each of George Washington's rules of civility applied to today's social and business situations with great insight and a touch of humor. I was amazed to learn that the civil behavior we learned from our parents and teachers is based on the same rules of civility that George Washington lived by 250 years ago. Some things are truly timeless. We could all use a refresher course. I highly recommend By George!

We can still learn a lesson By George!
By George! is a delightful and insightful compilation of George Washington's rules of civility, written when he was only 14 years old. The author does an outstanding job of adapting these basic rules of good conduct, written in the 1740's, to current society. These rules, illustrated by timely stories of people doing the right thing, not only help us understand the high standards George Washington expected of himself and others, they are a timeless treasure trove. In a world torn apart by violence and hatred, this little book teaches us that a little civility can make a big difference in our lives. I highly recommend By George! by Steven M. Selzer.

Sentimental Journey
The Cherish Me Always series of 4 books (3 have been published as of Spring 2002) have grown out of the authors' photograph collection. The authors share their collection of photos with the tenderness of one sharing a personal photo album. This volume is 136 pages of beautiful vintage photos with information about the photos and the subjects. Literary quotes and poetry appear occationally to maintain a nostalgic childhood memory. Although this book has a great deal of value in recording dolls and clothing from different decades (before 1950), the biggest asset of this book is its emotional value. The predominantly female subjects hold their dolls tenderly and show them off proudly. It is a sentimental journey into America's past that the reader can easily indulge in.

Cherish Me Always - Fantastic
There is nothing like this book on the market today! It is truly an amazing book! It appeals to a large audience of readers. If you love vintage photography, children, history, dolls, or interesting non-fiction books, you must buy this book! You will not be disappointed! The photos are so endearing they will melt your heart. We need more books like this on the market with times the way they are! I hope you enjoy reading it also.

Enchanted Journey
Cherish Me Always is a series of 4 books (3 have been published as of Spring 2002) that have grown out of the author's photograph collection. The photographs are shared in a graphic format that compliment the vintage photos. Poetry and literary quotes maintain the feeling of childhood storybook wonder. The child subjects of "Teddy Bears and Warm Fuzzies" are both girls and boys. Many of the toy companions shown are teddy bears, but not exclusively so. There are many identifiable and unidentifiable plush toys that do not seem to be teddy bears, but all of the plush animals seem to be loved and cherished by their child companions. This book is an enchanted journey back to the childhood days of bygone years.

Cherish Me Always - Teddy Bears- Fantastic Book!
This was a wonderful book! If you love history, children, photography, or teddy bears, you have to purchase this book! There is nothing on the market like this. The photographs pictured are so endearing! This makes a great gift book! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Excellent book
This is one of the best books in economic development ever published. Written in plain english, so it's easy to understand, even for non-economics students. Highly recommended for graduate students, professors, and professionals interested in economic issues of developing countries.

Excellent ... But ... !!!
This is an excellent academic book ,but it needs updating in light of the recent global developments. Basically it is missing a detailed analysis of The spread and effects of Globalization. Maybe there is a new edition in print now ???

Inspiring, Inspiring, Inspiring
Schwab is the master at communicating so much with so little. His work is unmistakable and inspiring. His command of light and shadow is brilliant. This book is without a doubt the definitive collection of his work, though just a mere sampling I'm sure. One thing I love about the book is the fact that the body exhibits beautiful, large reproductions of his graphic work with no text, almost as if you were in a gallery looking at Schwab's work. The art is presented without interruption. Whether designer or illustrator you will find this book an invaluable and cherished resource for your library. Graphis has created a masterpiece with this one. It's big, beautiful, and worth every penny or more. BTW, the book was designed by Schwab himself. Simply inspiring! Bravo.

Great Stuff
There is a timeless and simplistic quality to Michael Schwab's work. He makes this stuff look easy when anyone who's ever done design work knows it is clearly not so. His logo designs are a pefect blend of color and form. That helps to make the product easily identifiable. I'm really not doing any justice to his work with my ranting... but if you're interested in art and design then I strongly recommend this book.

Hermann
A very interesting exposition on Norwegian culture is perhaps the lesser strength of 'Hermann'. More importantly is this book more moving, uplifting and entertaining than much else that can be read about Norway. I'd recommend this to those who have no interest in Scandinavia and would suggest it as a must-read for those who have.

A wonderful story
Herman is a wonderful story about a young boy in Oslo, Norway, who start losing his hair. And there`s this little girl with the most outstandig read hair that he falls in love with. It`s a most charming story, and I`ve read the book twice and seen the movie three times, and I`ve named my first son Herman.

"Must" reading for students of graphic design.
An excellent text survey, Looking Closer 3 provides an anthology of classic writings on graphic design. This is a 'must' for any who would study the foundations of graphic design theory: it's the first to gather early critical writings from the turn of the century to modern times, grouping rare essays under one cover.

Historic Essays
This is the latest in a series of books that consist of collections of essays about the theory and practice of graphic design. The essays in the first two volumes were mostly from contemporary sources, particularly the AIGA Journal of Graphic Design. This third, retrospective volume is of even greater value in the sense that it gathers under one cover some of the most important historic writings on design from the late 19th century to the early 1980s, arranged chronologically. It contains over fifty hard-to-find articles by prominent figures in graphic design, among them William Morris, W.A. Dwiggins, El Lissitzky, Varvara Stepanova, Gyorgy Kepes, Alexander Rodchenko, Ladislav Sutnar, Beatrice Warde and Wolfgang Weingart. Graphic designers need to know where they came from, in order to better decide where to go. A substantial contribution to that effort, undoubtedly this is a book that should be on the reading lists of all designers, design students and teachers. (Copyright by Roy R. Behrens from Ballast Quarterly Review, Vol. 15, No. 1, Autumn 1999.)

No Mage ST should be without it
This book is fundamental in running a Mage chronicle. It gives plenty of background and setting information for those interested in that sort of thing. As any storytelling book, it gives tips and tried-and-true methods for storytelling. Additionally, there is a chapter dedicated to the explanation of philosophy, which is important because of Mage's philosophical nature. Also, the book further explains various systems like Paradox and Resonance and gives different options to change them to your liking. Moreover, the book gives an explanation of Seekings according to Essence types. All in all, the book is essential in fine-tuning and running any Mage chronicle.

Invaluable!
This is probably the most invaluable resource for any mage player or storyteller. It provides alternate rules for both magic and paradox and how to apply mage to alternate historical/fantasy settings. In terms of usability, it is indispensible and probably much better than the Guide to the Traditions.
