The Fury and the Power

pulse pounding psychological suspense and chilling horror
She is not ordinary woman in any sense of the world. She is a powerful psychic who can call forth her doppelganger at any time she chooses, an entity equal in power to Eden Waring. She defused a bomb by using her powers but that doesn't make her a safe or happy person. The Assassin of the Impact Sector of the FBI tried to kill her once but failed and he's back for a second shot.

That is not the worst danger she faces because, after all, the Assassin is only a mundane psychopath. She has attracted the attention of Mordant, an evil being from another plane, who has lost part of his soul. He hopes to use Eden to find it so he can plunge the world into chaos. He also wants to mate with her so that the child they will produce will be quite the fury. Eden wants no part of the evil Mordant and will fight him with her last breath before she gives him any victory over her.

THE FURY AND THE POWER is a pulse pounding work of psychological suspense and chilling horror. Eden is a young woman who must cope with her own powers and otherworldly beings without succumbing to their dark side. There are many violent scenes in this book but they are appropriate in the context of the story line. The sequel promises to be even better but readers will have to wait something that will prove a very difficult task.

For a good understanding of the origions of WWI
When I studied history in college, this was the most valuable book for understanding the origins of World War I. Both comprehensive and highly readable. Daniel Headrick's "Tools of Empire" makes an excellent companion reader (Thank you, Prof. William Green, College of the Holy Cross!)

Accessible,useful Reiki information
Having about 20 years of study and practice in various healing systems, I recommend this book as a practical and comprehensive tool for the study of Reiki and life energy. It will be of interest to newcomers for the history and basic techniques of Reiki. It will be instructive to practitioners and teachers through the case histories and integration with chakra energetics model. The knowledge presented is in the tradition of the original method which provides energy balancing at all levels-physical,mental,emotional, spiritual. This book illustrates the on-going development of Reiki as a growing complentary modality in the healing arts. John Harvey Gray is one of the original US Masters and has dedicated his life to sharing and teaching Reiki through classes and the establishment of Reiki wellness centers.

A spiritually enriching book!
This book if for you whether you're new to the Bible or not. It's two major thrusts are this: when you read the Bible you should expect God to speak to you through it. Not just academically, but spiritually. God wants to encourage us, correct us and guide us through His Word. The second thrust is that it is beneficial to memorize Scripture so we can quote it during times of weakness or temptation. Just as Jesus did when He was tempted by the devil. I would encourage EVERY Christian to read this book!

Masculinity at its finest
For John Lash, the archetypal Hero is not only male, but a prototype of masculinity. In the first part of the book, Lash explores the types of Heroes and the evolution of the Hero over time. The central part of the book are plates, many in color, drawn from art work the world over; the bewildering variety of representations of the Hero is the most stunning part of the book. In the final section, "Themes", Lash explores, through a combination of images and text, several recurring ideas in the Hero Myth, including the initiation, the hunt, the Hero and the horse, the Hero in Love, and the Hero facing death. This is a wonderful mythological exploration of timeless men's issues.

Read this book if you want to hit it with alot of distance
I am like any other golfer who wants to hit my drives with more distance. I have read other books on golf but nothing like this one.I used to hit my drives around 220 to 230 yards, but after reading this book and following Mike Dunaway's instructions I can consistently drive the ball 270 yards. My golf buddies can't believe it.We all used to drive the ball around the same distance. But not anymore hee-hee! The book starts out fine with stories of Mike winning long drive contest and out driving golfing pro Fred Couples, and a list of other long driving contestants. And having John Daly introducing him as the one man that can out drive him. Wow now that says something. I took my time to read this book, which is very easy to understand. I have taken lessons from 2 golf pro's and they never did tell me or show me how to develope long drive power. Sure I hit it straight but I could never reach the par 5's in two strokes, now I can thanks to Mike Dunaway. I am 43 years old, I have been playing golf for about 4 years. I own the books "Swing like a Pro" by Dr. Ralph Mann and Fred Griffin, and also the book "How to perfect your golf swing" By Jimmy Ballard. Both which are fine books to read. But if you really want to drive the ball far then you can't pass up this book "Hit it Hard"
