It proved it's point well.
This book proved its point on equality, and was very enjoyable. It has been one of my favorite books since the time I first read it. The boys got what they desereved and the girls got thier moment of glory.

A REALLY, REALLY, REALLY cool book!
I think that this book is one of my favorite Sweet Valley Twins books. It is SO cool! I love how the girls get mad at the boys and show them that girls can be JUST as good as boys. Bruce Patman's snobbiness really added to the excitment.

Something To Be Known
This book gives a spur to basketball life as Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield, along with their friends form a basketball team called the Honeybees. At first, they think it's too hard being a Honeybee, and constantly want to quit. However their determination gets the better side of them, as they battle other teams to become the champions. However, the boys who are on the Wolverine team condemn the fact that girls can play basketball. They declare that the girls will never measure up to the boys' standards. So the Honeybees decide to boycott the boy's games. And the boys start losing, and keep losing, because they have no one to urge them on. They beg the girls to be cheerleaders, and the girls agree on one condition..there have to be boy cheerleaders too! With Steven (Jessica and Elizabeth's brother) as the Honeybees coach, all of the Honetbees and the Wolverines learn the value of being hard workers and players, that sincere effort matters more than winning, and that nothing more is accomplished in basketball than being a team.

Pretty good...
Rebel is the seventh book in Francine Pascal's 'Fearless' Series. Gaia Moore is seventeen and, as the title would suggest, is unable to feel fear. When Gaia, Mary and Ed decide to play truth and dare, Gaia shows the lengths she will go to not to reveal the truth. Attempting to make her divulge something about her past, Mary and Ed invent increasingly dangerous dares but soon discover that Gaia will do anything they suggest. Things get worse when Mary is contacted by her ex-dealer. She owes him five hundred dollars and he's given her twenty-four hours to pay up...

One good thing about this book is how different it is to most of the other teen books around. This was the first Fearless title I've read so far, so I can't tell you how it compares to the others, but the characters are realistic and the book is action-packed and fast paced. I'm not sure I'll be reading any future titles in the series - to be honest, I just don't like the characters very much, although that may be due to the fact that I haven't read any of the previous books. Still, this wasn't bad and I read it through in a couple of hours. Overall, four stars and I recommend it to all fans of the Fearless series.

Truth or Dare?
The seventh installment in the Fearless series is not dissapointing in the least. Once more, Gaia Moore's world comes alive for the reader. _Rebel_ is one whole book basically dedicated to the art of Truth or Dare... fearless style. Mary and Gaia turn the game dangerous and Ed is basically helpless to stop it. Also, a drug dealer from Mary's past comes out and makes his presence known demanding a debt from Mary. _Rebel_ bascially carries on with the grand tradition that the books before it set up. There is Francine Pascal's amazing writing skills combined with her flair for origionality and the usual smattering of well written fight scenes. I'd recommend the Fearless series to any young adult.

gaia happy and rebellious
gaia has finally found some happiness in life. with the help
of her friends ed and mary she is being a normal rebellios teen.
but her uncle lokia and foster mom ella are not pleased. they have decided that if this undisciplined behavior keeps up, then
the source of the problem will have to be neutralized. also, even
though mary has kicked her drug addiction, her dealer is after he
because she still owes him money. this is a thrilling and quite
interesting book. could not put it down.

A suspenseful addition to the Fearlesss series.
Gaia is battling a terrible life, and she's aware that she's in danger -- but she has no idea who's trying to get her. Is it her father, or Oliver -- one of whom may be Loki? Her mother was murdered by him, and so was Mary. Gaia needs to think quickly to stay away from Loki's trap, wherever he is. Added to her life is Sam's betrayal -- while she doesn't know his fate, it seems that everything she has ever known has fallen apart even more. Can Gaia keep herself away from the ultimate enemy -- even while facing a bitter turn in her life? This book is a suspenseful addition to the series, but not as good as the pervious one. I can't wait for Fearless #19: Twins, because the suspense keeps building.

Amazing
I got this book earlier than I thought I was going to, and I absolutely loved it. These Fearless books have got to be one of my favorite series ever.

In Love, Gaia is determined to leave but Ed convinces her to stay, at least for a while. She knows Loki is after her, but she's still not clear on whether Loki is her father or her uncle. In the end, a simple action determines it for her.
Gaia and Heather pretty much make their peace... at least as much peace as they can have.
Can I just take a moment and say that Loki is absoutely sick? Him using the fact that Gaia doesn't know Sam is dead to his own advantage was just repulsive to read about.
Ed finally tells Gaia how he feels! What he says is so incredibly sweet, and I loved when Heather was talking about it. Adorable.
Very sad ending, very good cliffhanger. *grin*

A thrilling new book in the Fearless Saga
Gaia's life is a living hell. She has no idea about Sam, her close boyfriend's, death and dosen't know who to trust. She dosen't know who Loki is. Her uncle claims it's her father but her father claims it's her uncle. She finds she can no longer tell the difference between them. All she knows is whoever gets close to her gets hurt, badly, so she needs to run away. But she can't do it without saying goodbye to Ed first but when she dose, something surprising happens. Leaving Ed may be harder than she thought. And when she finds out what Loki's plan really is she freaks. She knows that she can never put her life back together again.

I was impressed with this book. The last few editions have been a bit dissapointing but this one was very good. The ending is quite a cliffhanger, I can't wait till the next one, Twins, comes out. I reccomend this book to fans of the Fearless series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Another great Fearless book...
Gaia has just about come to terms with her friend’s murder and is now starting to move on in her life. Mary’s death has left a void that will never be filled, but at least it has brought Gaia nearer to Ed Fargo. Only now Ed and Heather Gannis, Gaia’s arch-nemesis are becoming closer… how will Gaia react? On the other hand, it looks like it’s the end for Sam and Heather … Gaia should be thrilled, but it still doesn’t bring her any nearer to the possibility of a relationship with Sam. Now Loki is getting closer to Gaia and Sam is beginning to suspect Ella…

This series just keeps getting more and more complicated as it goes on. As questions are answered, more are posed and the characters’ relationships become more confused with every book. While not one of the best instalments in the Fearless saga, “Liar” is still one of my favourites and I definitely think the later books of the series are better than the earliest. Overall, this was an exciting, entertaining story that will keep you reading right up until the end. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the previous nine books in the series.

Lair
Ed and Heather are starting to get closer. Sam is avioding Ella. Ella is holding that night over his head. Loki is so determined to get Gaia, he starts to moniter himself. Gaia is starting to come to peace over Mary's death, and returns to one of her favorite things, kicking bad guys ***.

This book was good, but not the best in the series. It reminded me of a soap opera, or a really bad teen-movie. So far, book 9 was my favorite.

Another excellant Fearless book.
Gaia's pretty much recovered from her friend Mary's death. But she is devestated when she begins to believe that her other friend, Ed, may be getting involved romantically with Gaia's enemy, Heather. And Gaia doesn't understand why Sam continues to let his deteriorating relationship with Heather drag on - it's obviously over. Meanwhile, Sam discovers that Gaia's foster mother, Ella, whom he had a drunken one-night stand with, not realizing who she was, is involved in some kind of nasty scheme, and he decides to follow her. The one thing that really bothered me with this book is the way Francine Pascal continues to drag on the Gaia/Sam thing. Get them together already! Otherwise, I loved this book. I highly reccomend it if you enjoyed the first nine books, but otherwise they should be read in order.

A sad book, but I couldn't put it down!
This book is sad! Jessica is going through alot since she has experienced Alyssia's death. She had become a walking person who doesn't want to live life, because she's surrounded by death. Elizabeth is trying to pull through the best way she knows how. But she keeps on wondering who saved her. I had a couple of guesses but they were wrong. But she thinks it's Devon and is now getting jealous of Enid, because Enid is hanging out with him. But I totally don't think it's fair to kill Olivia, I mean, she was sweeter than Liz, and everything was finally working out for her and Ken. How could they do this to Ken and Olivia. I found myself wanting to cry several times through the book. I'm also sad about not having any more SVH books! And from what I heard about Senior Year, the next series is NOTHING to look forward to! Overall though this was a great book, read it and I think you will enjoy it!

Very sad but also very happy.
This book was so good. It was so sad at some parts though. I was crying when Ken gave that speech about Olivia! And I'm glad Liz finally dumped that jerk Devon! You'll love this book but you should read the two that come before it first. Last Wish and Earthquake.

Best Sweet Valley Book Yet Besides Eathquake!
I loved this book this was the third Sweet Valley book to make me cry. Olivia's death was so sad and at her funeral everyone said such wonderful things about her. For all the other people who wrote reviews and were wondering why Olivia becomes reincarnated I think I have an answer for you. SVU #8 was written almost four years before SVH Eathquake and Aftershock. Obviously Francine Pascals had not yet decided to kill off Olivia so she wasn't dead. There are a lot of descrepencies between the series. You really have to read SVH and SVU as if they weren't even related. Or else you'll go out of your mind. So I agree Francine Pascals should keep better track of her characters but it wouldn't really be Sweet Valley with people coming back to life every now and again now would it? (Hint William White, Nicholas Marin, Christian Gorman, and now Olivia Davidson.) This two part mini series was the perfect way to end Sweet Valley High the Senior Year is even better. As long as I can read about the twins I will pleased. Long live Sweet Valley in any shape size or form! And a little ghost every now and then isn't gonna bother me!

jess is growing up!
this book was really good. all these unexpected events happen to jessica and her friends who are visiting hawaii thanks to kimberly's aunt pippa who invited all of them. the unicorns (a club of totally snobby girls) meet kimberly's cousin, marissa. since she was so nerdy and talkative, the unicorns came up with all these mean pranks just to get her away.

i was surprised how cool jessica was acting because usually she's totally with the unicorns and i realized that she was growing up. she didnt need the snobby girls who arent even her real friends. i was proud of jessica because i usually dont like her since shes always the mean one compared to liz. although i loved liz's diary too, this one was surprisingly good.

the only thing that took away the 5th star was the way Jason was taken away by marissa. i really wanted Jason and Jessica to get together since they made such a cute couple... but i loved they way wiley dumped lila in the end, i was laughing by myself. overall, its a great book and if you need a cool book to read over the summer vacation, this is the one!

A fun, entertaining read!!!
Four Words: I love this book! I have read it over and over again numerous times. Anything Hawaii or Sweet Valley Twins interests me, and Jessica was sort of my pre-teen idol. I wanted to be just like her, I wanted to BE her. I know that sounds kind of silly, since she's a fictionial character, but she just sounded so pretty, popular, and perfect. She had the life and the looks that I wanted so bad. Anyway, this book is very good, I like the diary style format. There aren't any "scenes" in this book, so, parents, it's a kid-friendly read. I'm fourteen and I still love this book, even though I was like ten when I first got it. I highly reccommend this book to everyone!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
Three words... THIS WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!! After reading Elizabeth's diary, I was positive this one was going to be just as good. I was right! It may have been better, I can't decide. I was just thinking as I read the book that me and Jessica are totally alike! That is sooo cool! She can be snobby at times, sweet and caring, and fashionable! I loved how Wiley broke up with Lila at the end! Lila deserved it! I can't wait to read the Jr. High books!

A good series
Francine Pascal has done it again. This series though is different from the other books she has written and i like it!! The only thing is you wanna read them from book 1..2..3 and so on..not in scattered order because its hard to understand it that way if you do. This one is about a girl named Gaia (Guy-Uh) who is like crazy about this guy named sam and someone is acusing her of doing something and now wants her dead and she wants to do 2 things before she dies.. and one of them she wants to do with sam.Something happens though.. sam is taken.. and its up to her to find him.. i can't wait to find out in the next book if she can save sam...

Sam
I just only started reading the Fearless book about 1 month ago, and I somehow felt connected to Gaia. I love her character.

This book starts out when Gaia jumps out the window of George and Ella's apartment(litterally) because she didn't want to have dinner with people, fearing that they will ask her questions about her family. She goes to the park and gets held up by this kid named CJ, whom was good friends with Marco, who got killed in Fearless #1 by Ella. Nayways, CJ think Gaia killed Marco and CJ wants to kill her.

In the midst of all this, Gaia wants to do two things. 1)...Sam and 2) Find her dad. This book is somewhat humorous and intense. Gaia, Ed, Sam, and Heather are rather emotional, you can practically hear them thinking.

This book takes alot of twists towards the end, and you'll be surpised at the way Gaia acts towards her father. I would have done the same thing if my father suddenly turned up after 5 years. They also introduce a character named Loki, which I think we will be hearing alot more from. Your heart really will go out to Gaia, Sam, Ed, and yes even Heather.

I enjoyed this book alot, and I have a feeling that I will enjoy the rest of the seris.

(series)Fearless"Sam"Is it phat or a flop?
Have you ever read a book that had a life that you thought would be awsome yet terrifying at the same time? Well SAM is it you can experience death, mystery, and sex all in one.So explore the world a Gaia and her problems and you'll see what happens in this book when Gaia is being stalked by CJ and his gang and if CJ doesn't kill Gaia by midnight he'll be killed himself. But you ask yourself does she know?"YES"So Gaia doesn't wanna die a virgin then guess whooo she turns to SAM! If you think that sounds cool it's even cooler when you read the book. Then you'll find out whether or not she does it with SAM

Elizabeth and Jessica are in mortal danger!
I can't say I thought this book was as great as everyone makes it out to be. I'm 14 and I was around 12 when I read it and even then I wasn't too impressed. Although you were in suspense some of the time, for most of it I was just wishing they'd get on with it. I didn't read the previous books in the mini - series because I didn't need to. This book told you all that had happened, so it didn't make me want to go out and buy the prequels. Sweet Valley High just isn't what it used to be. Every book is full of gloom and doom, and you can never believe Jessica when she says she's totally, madly and deeply in love with a guy. Her and Sam Woodruff were perfect, but of course Sam died. Now Jessica has a new love in every new mini - series. And Elizabeth is forever two - timing Todd. I'll give this book two stars for effort and some suspense, but I'm being generous. Come back, old Sweet Valley. The new type isn't half as good.

It was a great book,so read it!
Dear Ms.William, My name is Deanna Welch,I'm thirteen years old,and I'm a seventh grade student at Cadillac Middle School.I love to read your book series Sweet Valley High! I have read most S.V.H. books and I have watched the television series. I like the book series better. In the that series I have noticed that the twins,Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield, and most of their friends, stay sixteen years old,and if I'm correct they should be eighteen years old. It doesn't really matter, that they stay sixteen, because it's still interesting. For my book report I read #100 THE EVIL TWIN,one of my favorite books, for my project, I made Wanted Poster.I'm currently reading #105 A DATE WITH A WEREWOLF. Thank you for your time!

Awesome book, very frightening
If you could only read two Sweet Valley books this would be the first one. I was reading it before I went to bed, and it was so chilling that I couldn't sleep until I read the whole book or I would've probably had nightmares. The other book is return of the evil twin. It is as scary as the evil twin. Well what happens in this book is that a girl named Margo had a horrible life in foster homes all her life. You find out that she burned a foster home down, drowned a little kid, and took off to Sweet Valley where she saw a newspaper article with Elizabeth's picture on it. Elizabeth looked just like Margo except that Margo had black hair. This was Margo's chance to have the perfect life that she had never had. Margo spied on Elizabeth and read her diaries, even went in the house and fooled her parents. She even went out with Todd. Then she was going to find a perfect time to kill Elizabeth, and take over her life. The child that she drowned had an older brother, who was chasing after Margo and wanting revenge. I don't wanna give too much away though, so I'll shut up now.

Fearless #8: heat -- the battle's heating up....
After the right amount of evidence , and with the time for a decision to take place, Gaia Moore's powerfully dangerous uncle Loki saw that Gaia's secret could not be passed. But ever since her 'perfect' niece Gaia has made friends, Loki can no longer bear the fact that her secret -- her perfection -- is slipping away. Friends cause complications ; they know too many secrets. And because of that reason, Loki sees only one alternative. Mary Moss must be terminated immediately. Gaia must save her friend at all costs. But does she know who her real enemy is? Could she have even begun to dream the consequences... Fearless #8: Heat is by far my favorite book in the series. I felt the ending was sad ; it truly is, but the drama is powerful and surprising. It truly is different then the other books in the series, and is surprisingly painful to the very end.

Fearless 8.......'Heat'
Ever since Gaia has made friends, Loki notices that he 'perfectin' is slipping away ever since she told Mary about her familys secret. Now, all Loki wants is to see Mary Moss terminated . Gaia will do whatever she can to prtotect her friend, but she doesnt know what enemy that she is going to fight, and she has no idea what consequences she is going to face.

Fearless 8 'Heat' is a good book (I finished it in 1 day), but the ending is so sad. I started crying when I read it.

The saddest book yet and the best!!!!!
This book is amazing. Francine Pascal is truely a gifted writer. Each book keeps getting better and better!!!
Tradegy strikes in this sad story and believe me it's so sad i started crying! Pascal really does show no mercy with her characters! But each one is so well structured it's as if i know them! Gaia is lovely as the girl power babe with expert skills in fightening and a love for donuts!!! Ed is her best friend in a wheelchair and their unlikely friendship is told through tradegy, action, romance, a dab of comedy and a dash of happiness.
In this story Mary Moss takes the limelight with Gaia and the
saddness that ensures makes way for book 9, which in some ways
is even better because we see the true extent of Gaia and Ed's
friendship and what friendship truely is.
There are lots of things to like about the Fearless books but for me they simply show how different doesn't always mean 'bad'.
Good work Pascal, long may Fearless continue....

Shocking Revelations!
Let me warn you before you pick up this book that after you read it it will change the aspect of this whole series. The shocking revelations stunned me to pieces.

First of all the shocking revelations on Tom's mission in Europe was exciting and shocking. Tom manages to foil Loki's plan thus stealing one of Loki's top secret disks. Inside he learns the shocking truth about what Loki has planned for Gaia. Let us just say it is pure EVIL!

The other shocking revelation was so sad I sobbed through the end of the book. This revelation has to do with Sam. He finds himself sinking deeper and deeper in Loki's organization and by trying to protect Gaia he loses her. Finally he comes face to face with the unthinkably evil Loki! The move at the end of the book with Sam's character was so sad! After this revelation I don't know what to think of what to come. I was never a big Sam fan but I still am not sure if the move by the author is really a good one. The only thing it signals is that the series is definetly coming to an end pretty soon. The only part in this book that wasn't very shocking is that Gaia is definetly getting more uncomfortable around Ed now that he has regained the use of his legs. I wonder how their relationship will turn with the sudden move of Sam's character. All I know is I can't wait to read #18 Love to find out!

Oh. My. Gosh!!
You will NOT believe what takes place in this book! It will make you gasp, cry, scream. For those regular Fearless readers, this book takes all the characters -Gaia, her estranged father Tom, her purely evil uncle Oliver, newly-mobile Ed, and the inevitable Sam Moon- to the limit .. and then some.
(I am dying to tell you something in this book that will make you throw it across the room, but I can't spoil the experience.)
*Review*
Gaia continues searching for the truth about just who is lying about being the criminal mastermind "Loki" - her father or her uncle. What she decides could mean a good beginning to her life or a bad ending. TOM GETS CLOSER TO LOKI AND FINDS SOME INFORMATION ON A DISK ABOUT LOKI'S PLANS FOR GAIA THAT WILL BLOW YOU AWAY. Sam Moon graduates from being Josh's drug carrier to meeting the most dangerous man alive -Loki himself. Sam Moon is now under Loki's control - and I can't tell you what Loki makes Sam tell Gaia or what terrible thing happens after that. Ed gets an "I'm sorry" letter from Heather. I won't tell you how he reacts to Heather's letter. I can only tell you that as a HUGE fan of the Ed-and-Gaia-belong-together club, let me just say I'm excited to see what happens in the next book!! I was stunned by this book - the sheer brilliance of the author (Francine Pascal's), the magnitude of what happens in this book, the fact that I could not put it down for even one second.

slowly......ending.......series......
For all you avid fearless readers out there, let me warn you, the book gets off to a very slow start. this is the 17th book in the intense series, but you can tell that the series is slowly ending. it all comes together in this book.

First of all, Tom is now in Brussels, still unbelievably concerned for Gaia and her saftey, yet he's still hasn't come back for her. (is anyone else getting a little annoyed with his repetitive whining??) But, Tom does find out why Loki wants Gaia, and believe me, its not for the best reasons.

Ed and Gaia are in the process of getting there friendship back on track, and now that both Heather and Sam (maybe?) are out of the picture, Ed is working up his courage to tell Gaia his true feelings. And the question is, would Gaia mind if he did? Maybe not. Sam is still torn between saving gaia's life or their relationship-there is a very profoundly written line in the book about that.

As I said, the beginning gets off to a slow start, but towards the end it picks up with astonishing speed. The twist at the end is heartbreaking, expect tears, and expect that Gaia's life will never be the same again. It was a good read, and I'de say that from the middle of the book on, maybe the best one yet.
