Trouble at Home
I loved the book Trouble at Home. It really showed lots about how valuable family time is. Elizabeth, Jessica, and Steven try to stop their parents arguing but it doesn't seem to help. It shows what can happen when a family has problems.

The best Unicorn Club book!
This book is totally exellent, and while I read it sometimes I wanted to kill Kimberly. I felt so sorry for all of the Unicorns that she came back to Sweet Valley and sometimes i wished Kimberly would die. Well, first the Unicorns had decided to all support Mary for the elections on Student Council President. But Kimberly came back, and since Mary and Kimberly fought since the sixth Grade and Kimberly decided to go AGAINST Mary. Kimberly doesn't have any ideas, but Mary does. Jessica, Lila, and Ellen decide to support Kimberly, while Elizabeth, Maria, and Ellen support Mary. Mandy didn't pick a candidate. That is she didn't until the very end...when things got drastic. This time Kimberly Haver has gone too far....

A girl born without the fear gene
Gaia Moore is just a normal teenage girl...well, as normal as a teenage girl can be when she knows no fear, is a master in karate, kick-boxing, and many other forms of defense. She lives with George and Ella, her two legal guardians, because her father abandoned her when her mother was murdered. She is fluent in many languages. She goes around Washington Square Park to play chess like a master--and to go around looking for trouble. So that pretty much crosses the line separating normal and...well, not. Not paying any attention to the warnings about going to the park after dark, she walks right through, pausing to look through her bag, giving slashers a chance to come after her, and then attacks with the force of three giant, 7-foot ninja warriors. And that's basically what the slasher tells his not-yet girlfriend, when she sees his bruises. But when she identifies the man who severely wounded a girl from school, and his gang starts trying to kill her, her confidence starts to dim a little bit, because she believes that soon, they will succeed. This book was a great start to the series. The end was so cliffhanging that I couldn't wait to read book #2: Sam. I recommend this book for older fans of Replica by Marilyn Kaye, and all action-packed books.

no fear gene?!?
When I plucked this book off the shelf, and paid for it my mother said to me "why on earth would you read that?". I don't know what she was talking about. THIS BOOK WAS INCREDIBLE!!! It has it's only little twist of wittiness (is that a word?), action, and even a little romance. My favorite... :) This has been the first of the series, and I think i will be getting a ton more of the books.

Gaia (guy - uh) is a not-so-normal girl in NY. The reason she is not so normal is because she has literally no fear. She was born without the fear gene...strange, huh? Her father made her train in kung-fu, tai-chi, tae kwon do, karate, and any other kind of defence-attack thing. Then her father *being in the CIA or something* leaves her, and her mother dies, and she is put in a foster home with George *who likes her* and Ella *who is 30 something and acts like she is 17*. Gaia goes to a new school, and all that stuff. She meets Ed, a handycapped person, and they become sort of friends. Gaia loves to play chess, and she plays all the time with this old man named Zolov. She meets Sam playing chess too...you never know, there might be some kind of thing behind it all *as the second book is called 'Sam'... READ TO FIND OUT!!!

*another note* I thought that this book was ok for the first half of the book, but when all the action happened in the middle, I couldn't put it down! I encourage anyone who is looking for something different, but with a little action and romance. ^.^

This book is the best book ever!!
Fearless is an amazing story for any teenage girl. It is about a girl born without the fear gene, whose father trained her since she was little to be a fantastic fighter. She enjoys walking through Central Park of New York City, just to prove thugs wrong who think they can attack innocent teenage girls. The story has humor with her witty thoughts about what is going on in her head, along with what is going on in other character's heads. There is also a person who broke the wall she built around her heart, Ed, her new best friend. Then there is Sam, who likes/hates her, and who also happens to be going out with Gaia's enemy. I love this book because it is action-packed, with a little romance, but it also relates a lot with me, and probably other teenagers as well. She deals with trying to fit in, starting a new school, being self concious about the way you look, and thinks about a lot of the other popular issues with teenagers. The story isn't too believable when you think about it, but while you read it, you believe she has no fear, and it is just a part of her life. I enjoy thinking about all the different things that I would do or would happen to me if I had no fear as well.

Brilliant - as usual by Francine Pascal!
This is definently a must read- although more mature readers may find it a bit babyish. It taught me to be independant and not always tag along with my friends (in the book it was Elizabeth who did not want to lose her sister, Jessica). Also it was not like a fairy tale it was not something that you could not relate to. All the episodes in the book were things that could happen to anybody. I thought that the Author should have stuck to one story line instead of using two- Elizabeth and Jessica growing up and Ballet classes. I think that it should of been just about them growing up and how they changed in Middle School when Jessica started getting worried about her appearance and what the popular crowd thought of her. Jessica started putting her popular freinds in the Unicorn club ( which she manages to get into) before her very own identical twin sister. This makes Elizabeth very upset as she doesn't really like all those glamorous girls! And they should've made another book about their ballet classes and joined it to the sequal. But all in all I loved the book. I am a great fan of Sweet Valley.

Elizabeth and Jessica are growing apart
This book is a great book to begin a fabulous series. Jessica and Elizabeth, identical twins sisters have shared everything for 12 years. Now Elizabeth thinks that they are growing apart. After all, Jessica wants to join the snobbiest group of girls who are in a club that is called the Unicorn club. Elizabeth on the other hand thinks the club is silly after she attends just one of their meetings. They just talk about her least favorite subjects: boys, clothes, and make-up... boring. So what it's just one little thing right? Well it's alot worse than that. Elizabeth is starting a sixth grade newspaper called the Sixers. Jessica thinks this idea is boring. She would rather spend her time with her popular friends. Elizabth is really hurt when Jessica says no to the paper. Soon the twins aren't even dressing alike. What will happen to the twins?

It was TERRIFIC!!!!!!!!! 5 pluses! 100 out of 100! An A+!
Jessica wants to join the Unicorns, a group of girls who consider themselves the most popular and snobbish girls in school. Anyways, Jessica has to play pranks on her sister. Meanwhile. . .

Elizabeth finds and joins the school newspaper, and makes some new friends. Will Jessica make the Unicorns, and still be with her twin, or will she be a social outcast forever? Will Jessica and Elizabeth's twin bond go to waste? Will Jessica and Elizabeth's friends get along? Well, read this book and find out the answers!

Sweet Valley JUNIOR HIGH?
OK. Don't get me wrong. I think this series is totally cool! I've read #'s 1 2 3 4 5 & 6. All in one day, and they were all soooooooooooooo good that i couldn't put it down until I was finished! Elizabeth has always been my fav character so I'm really happy for her! But... Jessica has always been my second favorite and I feel terrible for her! It seem like the jr. high is a dark cloud that has fallen over her head. But... even though I feel bad for Jessica, and Lacey is the cause of most of Jessica's bad luck, I still kind of like Lacey and think she's cool, she really makes things exciting! She's #5 on my fav peoples list. Anyway, in this book, the series is beginning, everything is starting. Everyone is explained. It starts off everything that happens. Elizabeth and Salvador are in love! But Anna is not exactly "in love! " with this love! I mean, why should she be! Salvodor isn't giving her the time of day anymore! All he thinks about is Elizabeth! Then! He decides to ditch Anna for Elizabeth! When Anna finds out she's furious at both of them! But... eventually they make up. And, the rest is history. You have to read the book though! It's wonderful!

A Nice Start...
Sweet Valley Junior High is nothing the twins had ever dreamed of. Elizabeth, with her fears of a new school and Jessica, with her over-confidence of maintaining her popularity at junior high. There are a lot of firsts in this book. And why not? Since this is the first book in a (great) new Sweet Valley series, it's nice to know some new people for a change. Elizabeth skips class with Anna Wang to buy her new friend some bras when Anna gets humiliated by their gym teacher, who's a bit on the crazy side (Miss Scarlett), for not wearing a sports bra to gym class. Jessica tries to hang out with the "cool" people and fails miserably. There are a lot of changes for the Sweet Valley twins. But some things just never change. Lila's turning over a new leaf in Hawaii doesn't last long and she lets Jessica down again. She makes Jess wait for over an hour at a cinema while she's having fun with the Double E's (Ashlee, Maree & Courtnee) at another theater. Elizabeth's new friend, Salvador, develops a major crush on her and even stands Anna up to go to a concert with Elizabeth. Anna finds out that very night and vents her anger at both of them although Salvador was to blame since Liz didn't know anything about Anna & Salvador's usual Saturday night. Jessica gets teased by people for wearing a purple blanket (as Salvador puts it) on the first day of school. I was actually glad she was teased. Jessica, not being in the cool crowd is nice, in a way. All in all, this a interesting intro to the new series.

Jr. high is so cool!
Jr. high is so cool! You MUSTTTTTTTTTT read this book before you even start your Middle School! I've only read book 1 & 2, but they are so fantastic, that I can't even put them down through dinners!Elizabeth is my favourite character, and I thought Salvador del Valle is pretty nice too. I feel pretty sorry for Jessica about having lunch with just her dorky locker partner, Ronald. Luckily, Lizzie got a totally cute-looking guy for locker partner, and handsome Salvador del Valle ( who's crush on Liz ) and Anna Wang ( a very nice Asian girl ) for friends. Jessica want to be in the cool crowd, but didn't got a chance. When Lacey ( from the cool crowd )thinks that having a boyfriend ( which is her brother ) old enough to drive is cool, and¡@ invite her to the cool crowd! Will Jess stick to the story and go to the cool crowd peacfully!? Read for yourself!

Great book!
This is a great book! Elizabeth Wakefield is excited about going to college. Until her world turns upside down. Todd WIlkins loves Elizabeth, but he wants to take the next step in their relationship, but she's not ready. Jessica Wakefield is in love with Michael McAllery. He's perfect, but everyone says he's bad news. But she doesn't care what anyone thinks. She'll have Mike no matter what. zEnid Rollins has changed herself. She's now Alexanra Rollins, she has a new attitude, and wants a new reputation. Tom Watts has a crush on Elizabeth Wakefield. In other books he fights a lot with Todd Wilkins. Tom loves Elizabeth, but he ha a dark past. Will he show his love for her? William White also admires Elizabeth, but his admiring her is way beyond normal. Winston Egbert, meanwhile, is stuck in an all female dorm. Jessica Wakefield is still going afetr Michael McAllery. This book is great!

what are other readers' problems!
i'm sorry, other readers, but this was a good book! not the best in the series, but still 5 stars! first of all, liz DOES find a new bff after alex (oh, sorry, ENID!) joins the thetas. nina is just as serious as she is, but still a lot of fun, and actually interesting, unlike enid. and ALEX is interesting, too! and for all you todd fans, don't feel sad that they broke up, it was HIS fault that they broke up, and if he's so sex-crazed he doesn't deserve her anyway! and yes, celine is a witch, and so is alison, but that's part of the plot! i repeat, this isn't the best book in the series by any means (i LOVE svu! ) but it's sure better than some other people made out! it's the introduction to the series, not a newberry award nominee!

I'm glad it was only a dollar
Well, Jessy and Lizzie are growing up. I think it's ridiculous how Jess fell like a rock for Will so very quickly without realizing he was hooked up. And Melissa, she's awesome if a bit neurotic. I love how the social "food chain" is changing, with Jess no longer on top. The femme fatale man-eater cheerleader thing is finally over. The characters weren't as well developed in this book as they are in the later SVH Seniors, but I suppose this is the getting to know eveyone period. Liz is so dumb for liking Connor and I think that if you are reading Seniors and SVU at the same time, Liz's obsession with sarcastic jerks is getting really old. Overall, a decent book, but the later books in this series get better.

Changes, changes, changes
One thing that negative reviewers should realize is that CHANGE is not always bad! I have read books from the old SVH series, and I definately liked them, but the senior year series is different but cool. Sure, alot of the old characters are gone, like Todd and Olivia, etc. But, let's be open-minded. This series is more realistic, if you ask me. Even fictional characters aren't always going to have a perfect life. Sure Conner is a jerk sometimes, and TOTALLY not Liz's type, but that is the way REAL teenager's minds work. Think about it - just because this beginning-of-a-series is different, doesn't mean that it is bad. This book shows realistic teenage life - complete with real disasters, "romance," and stress, stress, stress. I commend Francine Pascal for creating a more TODAY kind of book. It is awesome, and I am going to read ALL of the SVH Senior Year books!

Can't Stay Away is a book you can't stay away from!
Elizabeth and Jessica are finally seniors! Sweet Valley is still recovering from the earthquake. El Carro highschool was destroyed by the quake, and half of the school has to come to SVH. Jessica fools around with Will Simmons before she realizes that his girlfriend, Melissa, is her biggest rival for captain of the cheerleading squad. Liz is editor-in-chief for the Oracle this year. She finds herself falling for Conner, an extremely obnoxious guy fro El Carro. Elizabeth is in for a big surprise when she decides to leave the Fowler crest and move into another home. This book is awesome! It's about time the twins were seniors. The plot is like a soap opera. So far, I liked this better than the regular Sweet Valley High books. I can't wait till the next one comes out.
