Take Control of Your Life!!!
These days, it is easier than ever to accumulate "stuff". In my case, that "stuff" is in various forms of information, both electronic and in print. Everyone collects a certain amount of stuff over the years. What most of us don't realize is how much our stuff takes away from our productivity. Stuff slows us down more than we realize. Why have stuff? Because we think it makes life easier; it provides a comfort zone. But filing, organizing, storing, moving, and searching through stuff is actually enslaving! If it is piled up on your desk, as in my case, then it is even more burdening. Ugh!

Every single item that you own takes a certain amount of maintenance. It has to be stored, occassionally reviewed, periodically relocated, and rarely, if ever, it gets used. Because of "stuff", you need a better filing system, more shelves, larger hard disks, and so on. Stuff makes life more complicated, more stressful. Take a moment and think about it. Does your "stuff" really make life better? Or is it simply providng a comfort zone for you? The irony is, your comfort is diminished by this so called "comfort zone" created from all this "stuff". It is time to get your act together, isn't it? Cerainly it is for me! Get un-cluttered!

Mike is an expert on the subject of clutter. He explains the importance of minimizing and he explains why less is more. Let Mike show you how to clean up that clutter and keep it that way.

In this information age, where everyone collects every bit of data on every subject known to man, it is more important than ever to find peace in efficiency. Don't let stuff rule your business and your life. Control the clutter, minimize the stuff, and you will be more efficient and effective in your business and personal life.

Real help, not just generalizations about organizing
Unlike most books that tell you how to organize your filing systems, this one gives you options to personalize your own system. Mr. Nelson understands that traditional organizing tips are like Chinese food. A week after trying them, you are hungry for real, lasting help.

Nelson is obvioulsy someone who has been there (been disorganized) and overcome it. His writing is straighforward, humorous (without being cute, or talking down to the reader) and not preachy. He gets you to understand that fear of making decisions, of making a mistake or low self-esteem keep us from getting and staying organized. He applies a combination of psychology, Neuro Linguistic Programming, memory enhancement techniques, visualizations and special tools for those with AD/HD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

His unique filing sytems tailored for your own personal learning style and the aids to improving your memory are worth the price of the book by themselves. Throw in the decision-making matrix and you have a real bargain. He gives us tools to change our lives, not just band-aids to neaten up piles of papers.

This is not like any other business organizing book you've ever read. It is better. And I have read them all.

Clutter Proof Your Business: Turn Your Mess into Success
I would like to share with others how much I appreciate this book. I thought Mr. Nelson's "Stop Clutter From Stealing Your Life" was good and was looking forward to this latest book, but this one has been phenomenal for me. I have been able to instantly apply many of the ideas presented. The book has helped me to learn so much about myself. I could only read one chapter a night because I would get so revved up reading the stuff I would have difficulty falling asleep! I am really impressed with the research and quoting of other peoples work. Mike Nelson's work is a shining light helping many people free themselves from clutter.

Dean Nelson fan
I haven't actually read this book, but I attend school where Dean teaches, and ever since I took a class with him last semester, I am convinced that he is the coolest person alive, and will therefore support anything and everything he does. I agree strongly with whoever said, "Let's face it...Dean kicks butt!" He is an amazing writer and a great person. YAY FOR DEAN!

BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ!
You should really read this book! I thought Ruben was exalent! And Dean Nelson was great toO.(My point is to read the book). They both ARE REALLY GOOD!!! I am so giddy and exsited that the book was so great,I really want you to read it. For the last time, buy the book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOOK OUT DICKENS! YOUR MATCH HAS ARISEN!
Lets face it, Dean kicks butt. When I started reading Welch's stories, I was very impressed on the talent he possesed to thread his stories together, and that alone should get you to read the book. I had at first skipped Nelson's part, just to get to the "good part", but when I began to read Nelson's passage, I was blown away buy his skill. I mean, WOW! I was taken into his world and could feel his passages around me. Nelson is a true master.

leather bound edition
This tiny leather bound Bible is really potable.
It's beautiful burgandy and has gold edge also.
And I find this "Word of Christ in Red" very usefull.
Concordance, Color Maps, Index to Maps are enough for
a Bible of this size.
I give this five stars.

You *Can* Handle the Truth!
Come explore the most fantastic journey through mankind's fiery history .. from time immemorial, beginning from the Genesis of the Deity's sparkling creation and all there is - through the Revelation of the foretold eternal yet to come. Find for yourself the Truth about True Love, Eternity, Happiness, and the Journey we call Life ... all within the pages of the Immortal Word.

neat compact easy to use information packed Bible
this bible is my favourite bible i own, it's small and easy to carry to church services, it has a flap which closes on the front, a ribbon to find your place, very helpful cross-references and footnotes in the center margin, book, chapter and verse nos. at top of each bible text page, maps at the back, mini concordance, helpful Preface and "How to use this reference Bible" section, words of Christ in red. But, would like to see an extra page or two in the mini concordance, and map dimensions also in metric (maybe one day in a later edition!) And, being all in modern english, makes the Bible easy to understand and read.-

The Complete Book of the Quarter Horse
This book is a must-have for any Quarter Horse breeder or enthusiast. It is full of wonderful information and photos of all the important foundation horses. The author's style is rather dry and technical, but it has to be if you're discussing bloodlines, I suppose. A truly absorbing book for Quarter Horse lovers!!

Complete Book of the QH
Great for reading on the history, esp. specific horses, of the QH breed! Loads of info and great reading!

One of the very best books on Foundation Quarter Horses
I have the book, just curious if anyone else had read it. Good book

Wonderful
I adore Crazy Horse and bought this for my 5 year old daughter who just loves this story. It's a great story for anyone and I highly recommend it for all schools.

Fantastic book
This beautifully illustrated book is one to read to your children many times over. It tells a story all American children should hear, and it has a magical feel to it.

A mastery of color
I especially enjoyed the illistrations in this book. The pictures almost draw you into the pages. They are drawn in the traditional style of the Sioux People. The story is about a man who is greatly respected by his people.

A Forgotten Past
Nelson George's arguments are clear, well-organized, and powerful. While reading, I was forced to look at things differently than I ever had before. The ideological vision of integration is an honorable one, but the simple fact demonstrated in The Death of Rhythm & Blues is that integration is forever indebted to black utility for white profit. It is likely that race relations in this country would be quite different if whites had not benefited from the talent and ingenuity of black athletes and performers in such a profitable fashion. This is ground that history teachers rarely, if ever, tread on. It is quite tragic to know that the unique and powerful black culture from which basically all popular music is derived, can be so easily forgotten or ignored. George's position is most intriguing in that it reminded me that history may belong to the teller, but there are many stories to be told. I consider myself fortunate to have heard this one.

very honest
this book is very honest.10 years back the cross-over dreams achived by michael jackson, prince, lionel richie, whitney houston, janet jackson, and the rise of rap at the time put this book on point.cuz 10 years later rap has crossed over like the artist i mentioned and artists before them and though artists like michael jackson always had a cross over crowd many other artists have tried to hard to be pop accepted. and it's coast them careers and credibility.this book points out artists that have tried to hard to be accepted.also lack of black on black support as far as management, tour personnel, etcc.black radio and programmers.this is a must read very insightful and to the point.also it's my fave of his books cuz it predates everything that is happening in hip-hop and rap today not to mention the lameness that goes for r-n-b today.artist that tried to cross-over so bad have made it worse for todays r-n-b. this book shows that point and more.

Finally an honest book the goes beyond dates and names
I've read a lot of books on musical roots in the last 30 years...to understand what really happened in the history of black music in America you have to understand what went down for the African-American in a white controlled enviroment. Mr. George holds nothing back and lets true history smack us all in the face. I would like to comment on a couple of points relating to white men playing black-roots music. Nelson commented that although Elvis was totally involved in black music ( and hair styles, clothe, etc.) that he essentially became a "wimp". I feel his material got wimpy, because of the white-music-machine & Tom Parker..but,I beleive the inner Elvis had "soul" in it's truest form. Then Nelsons examples of white boys who actually could play the blues 1. Eric Clapton, who I find leaves me cold with the text-book perfect licks pumped out with computer accuracy & 2. Johnny Winter, who to my ear does the classic wanna-be style playing of "more- notes-faster"...typical of the white boy trying so hard to over compensate, that it loses what it was all about in the first place, FEELING! These are just small things that bugged me a bit...the book is not about white boys wanting to play black music...it has a much deeper and more important message...a very eye openning look at reality in the music buisness and the black experience...I will continue to read Nelson George, he is saying things I'd like my children to understand. People deserve to here the truth.

Make this your first Age of Sail read!!!
This book is simply perfect. Not only does it recount the true events surrounding the Battle of Trafalgar off the coast of Spain, it is an excellent introductory book to the genre. As a fan of Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey/Maturin tales and CS Forester's Hornblower, this new collection of nautical books is a must read.

Dudley Pope's narrative flows smoothly making this one of those books you can't put down until your finished. The nautical terms of the 1790's ~ 1800's are explained to satisfy both the novice and the well read. Whether this is your first Age of Sail book or just another in a long list, this is a must read that you will cherish.

Better that Patrick O-Brien: this is REAL!
This is the best written and best researched treatment of the Battle of Trafalgar and Nelson's death that I have ever read -- and I read a LOT of naval history! Most discussions of Trafalgar concentrate on Nelson's slow death on the orlop deck, while the really decisive actions of the battle rage out of view. In this book Pope gives readers a thorough and vivid discussion of exactly what happened between the whole engaging fleets, AFTER Nelson was hit and taken below. The victory was Nelson's, from his strategy and leadership, but many other men on both sides fought to reach that crucial military decision. Dudley Pope brings this to life. If you've ever wondered why Nelson's last order, knowing he was mortally wounded, was for his flag captain to anchor the British fleet, read on! I also highly recommend Pope's other works, including his fictional Lord Ramage series, which gets visibly better from book to book.

Decision at Trafalgar (Heart of Oak Series)
As both a Patric O'Brien fan and a lover of history works, I very much appreciate the novelistic approach that Mr. Pope takes with the book, which adds much character to the writingas well as a flavor of the life and times. Some detail is sacrificed, but the book is easily readible and the account of the ship actions themselves with included diagrams helps make this complex engagement easy to comprehend.

Something for everyone
Though I've been working with Windows for almost 10 years, I still learned new tricks with this book. Of course I skipped over some basic parts, but I can see how others might find the background information useful. As an added bonus, the book has a nice glossary and index to facilitate searching for specific topics.

This book is an effective step-by-step guide to using Windows 2000. Although it is not intended for the system administrator, it is a thorough discussion of all of Window 2000's functionality. Effective Executive Guide to Windows 2000 is as useful as a reference for the experienced user as it is as a tutorial for the Newbie.

The only book, to date, on this prolific sculptor/designer
Harry Bertoia was a prolific sculptor. He worked from the early 40's till his death in 1978. Ms. Nelson thoroughly covers the progression of his work: jewelry, early stabiles, wire constructions, the chair designs he did for Knoll International, braised metal screens, spill cast bronze, rod and tube fountains, stainless steel sprays/dandelions, bushes and sounding sculptures for which he is best known. She illustrates his work with photographs of both public and private pieces. The timeline and bibliography are accurate and very inclusive. This reference book, which is available at libraries, is the only book written exclusively on him as a sculptor. He is included in other books and articles about sculpture. June Kompass Nelson also wrote Harry Bertoia Printmaker, 1988.
