Great sourcebook! Tremendously useful.
This book is well-written and covers a vast scope. Contrary to what the title might lead you to believe, this book covers a lot more than just plain mediums. In fact, it offeres detailed information on just about any faction in the Skinlands that might interact with the Restless Dead: "Boardwalk mediums" found at carnivals and circuses the ruthless Giovanni vampires, even charlatans and frauds who possess no real talent, but manage to offend wraiths with their very presumption and chicanery.

This book is definitely worth the purchase price- it will enrich virtually any Wraith chronicle.

Mediums done right
This is a fine resource for mediums, much better than the Quick and the Dead. The systems stuff is vastly improved, with a battery of new merits and flaws for mediums that I actually found useful (and can be used to supplement or replace the hedge magic paths for interacting with wraiths). There is some good stuff on summoning, a large section on Native American medicine men and shamanic dealings with the dead, a fresh look at many of the old ghost-dealing groups, and a new ability for those people who have had enough with wraiths shouting in their ears.

Game or war?
If you're having fun when you do something is it a game or just a job you happen to like? Travel along with Le as he explores, among other things, what life is about, what is play, what is work, motion, cycles, self, attention vs. awareness and also tries to save the Earth from a game that has gotten a little out of hand. Good sci-fi, great for people who wish to escape for a weekend and just plain fun, with lots of food for the mind.

Video Game Reality....
Okay here's the deal, this book is about opening our eyes to the perceptions of reality. This life we lead, is a mere shadow of the true selves that we are. So to help us see that, John Dalmas and Rod Martin, created a situation that follows thru Jan Ambers, as he goes thru experience after experience and sees that he's more than just Jan Ambers. That he is one of the beings, that protect the world. That he has an Earth persona as well as a True Persona of which he can only get glimpses of. This also involves concepts of reincarnation... You have to read it to get a glimpse of what I am talking about...

To help his character understand himself, he has him imagine himself as a video game player, whereas the person he thinks he is, is merely the cursor in the game, and where as he as a higher hidden self that is playing the game. Where there are hidden scripts, plans and things going on...

Also the enemy is a group of aliens looking for their long lost brother. The head is Cha Cha aka Charles Lawson, whose group is trying to corrupt the earth by finding ways to trick others to introduce forbidden or high level technology...

This is a classic in Sci-Fi and in New Age Fiction.... But it's also very down to earth...

A Must Read...

A must for power systems students
Comprehensive and lucid... this book presents all of the most important subjects in modern power electronics and electric power system control, and presents them in an organized fashion with a readable format. It also touches on many emerging concepts currently being developed in labs and universities, and is revised frequently.

Great Book
This book has a complete idea for the Power Electronics. Every line has an important meaning in it. Even though we have to read it very carefully. It worth for you to know all the bible of Power Electronics. One said Power System bible is Stevenson's book, on the other hand, Power Electronics' bible is Kassakian too. You can find everything in this book. You will not be regret if you hit this book.

The best book you can read about the Blessed Virgin Mary
I havn't read every book about Mary, but I know a classic when I read it, and this book falls in that category. The sub-title "The Virgin Mary in History, Art, & Apparition" aptly summarizes the main themes. Mr. Martin traces the historical flowering of Mary's influence in Christendom. This is seen from the very beginning of the church and proves to be a guiding factor in keeping the Church from being ship-wrecked on the rocks of error and enemies. In addition to history and theology, the artistry of Marian paintings, cathedrals (such as Chartres), and music are also appraised and found to be valuble anchors to keep to us grounded in the truth. Finally, the apparitions reinforce the theme that Mary's work did not end when she gave birth to our Lord. She continues to draw people to Christ through miracles and messages which are difficult to ignore. The Remnant newspaper's book reviewer says, "I can think of no better book on the subject written in the last fifteen years." The National Catholic Register calls it "A Marian Tour De Force. . . the book stimulates the mind and enflames the spirit in equal measure." In addition to a beautifully written book, there are some beautiful art reproductions. Order one today and chances are you will order more later for gifts.

A beautiful study of the most important woman in history
Whether you are part of the Judeo/Christian tradition or not, it would be impossible to name a woman who has more influence in the history of the world than the Mary of Nazareth, the mother of Jesus Christ. More paintings, sculptures, music, and architecture has been dedicated to and inspired by this remarkable, singular woman who lived nearly two thousand years ago in Asia Minor. Believers and non-believers alike can learn an immense amount from this truly well written book. I highly recommend it!

NOT JUST FOR MANAGERS, IT'S A HANDBOOK FOR ALL
They call it "Successful Manager's Handbook". That is correct. But one thing you should know about this beautifully structured text is that it benefits anyone who seeks knowledge from it. Thus, I would not advise you to wait until you become a 'successful manager' before paying attention to it.
Even if you are the most unsuccessful messenger around, the valuable productivity guidelines in this book would go a long way in defining and improving your status. If diligently applied, the principles of this book would enhance your overall potentials: be it official or domestic.
This book is a handbook for all. It is an asset for matured dealings.

I haven't read this book yet
I just picked up a copy in an airport bookstore. I looked at one suggestion, and used it when I got back to the office. My productivity has skyrocketed. I think a lot of the suggestions here are commonsense. But do any of us have enough commonsense?

Value Based Management: The Corporate Response to the Shareholder Revolution

VBM for Starters
Martin's book is an excellent introduction to the practice of Value Based Management. Although it is far from being an MBA type book, it explains the basics and shows some good examples. Maybe the strongest point of the book is the comparison of several approaches used by the biggest consulting companies sponsoring VBM: Stern Stewart's EVA versus BCG's and McKinsey's measures. When you're ready to climb another step, the best choice is Young and O'Byrne's "EVA and Value Based Management". It goes deep in details of implementation of EVA based systems, is comprehensive and technically advanced and also give pros and cons of the measure.

T-H-E Value Based Management Guide
This book, along with Young and O'Byrne's "EVA and Value-Based Management," are perhaps the only two books you really need to develop a comprehensive understanding of shareholder value and value based mangement. In fact, the book is almost equivalent to completing MBA-level coursework in both corporate finance and competitive strategy (relax, the book is far more exciting). If you've been thinking of implementing -- or have already implemented -- a value based management program, you should add this book to your library... soon.

White Dynamite and Curly Kidd
This book is AWESOME. Written with an authentic voice of the rodeo cowboy, yet delightful lyrics, rhythm and a surprise ending will enchant all readers.

Exciting and surprising!!!
White Dynamite and Curly Kid is a book that is as much fun to read as it is to listen to! The story is terrific, full of action and suspense as Curly Kid watches cowboys ride a fearsome bull known as White Dynamite! The ending is a surprise to all, as the reader learns that things aren't always as they seem.Zinthia Halaychik, Astatula, Florida

Go Abduct Your Own Copy!
Wow. I buy these collections to get acquainted with authors I'm unfamiliar with. With any luck, there'll be two or three stories which stand out enough that I'll seek out the authors' other works. Alien Abductions features an amazing array of stories veering between thoughtfully humorous and nightmarishly frightening. I can't recall a collection from any genre I've more thoroughly enjoyed. This is not just a gathering of great authors--Alien Abductions is a wonderful gathering of some top-notch sci-fi!

An important, compelling, and well written testimony
This is an important, interesting, compelling, and well written testimony by Mr.Mielnicki. It is the kind of work that will take one beyond the well known general statistics and facts of the holocaust, and also into the realm of the heart. In particular it is highly informative regarding events in the Bialystok Region, from which hundreds of thousands of Jewish people were murdered. I read it in one sitting, and paused only when in it's pages I unexpectedly found Mr. Mielnicki's first hand account of the destruction of my families town of Zabludow Poland on June 26th, 1941. I highly recommend this book. In fact,it is a book that in an ideal world would be read by everyone. It contains a very good introduction by Sir Martin Gilbert, and is well illustrated with maps, and interesting and well chosen photos. This is a book to own

A must for teachers and parents of young children
The songs and rhymes in this book are fantastic. I have used them in my pre-k classes for the past four years with wonderful results, especially with my special needs students. This rich anthology of literature has enriched my curriculum and my children's lives. When asking for suggestions from the children (or other teachers), they will always include songs from this collection. The children easily learn the songs, then go home and try to teach their parents or siblings the songs as well. I am sure that my language delayed students are progressing so well because of the songs and rhymes that I have learned from all of Dr. Feierabend's books. If you work with young children or have little ones of your own, you should have this book.
