This was one of my favorites in the whole series! I don't suggest reading it though if you haven't read any of the others, though, just because you might not get the full effect. I think it is realistic to the point that friends aren't perfect all the time and have their fights. I doubt it's very logical that all five pals would dream the exact same dream, but it's a nice thought, anyway. READ THIS ONE!!

On Christie Winchell's first night working on the school's homework hotline, she gets an eerie call from a boy who tells her does pranks for fun! At first, the pranks aren't really harmless...then they start getting worse. Christie and her friends have to solve this mystery fast- before something really bad happens! This book also continues the adventures of Shane trying to find a girlfriend for his iguana, Igor, which is SOOOO funny! This is a really exciting book- the best one about Christie.

Jana Morgan is honored and excited when she's one of the two kids picked out of her entire 7th grade class to be a buddy to a homeless kid coming to Wacko. But her hopes of making a new friend are dashed when she gets a load of Liz Flagg, the homeless girl she has to be a buddy to. Grouchy Liz seems to have built a wall around herself that even friendly, sweet Jana can't get through. But Jana Morgan is not one to give up so easily- when Liz says Jana couldn't take living in a homeless shelter, Jana takes her up on it and finally starts to understand why Liz is such a tough nut to crack. I don't won't spoil anything, I just want to say that I really, really loved this book and I think it's one of the best in the whole series!! I don't know how people can't like Jana- she's such a sweet, terrific person and she really tries to understand people. (Okay, maybe not Laura McCall and Taffy Sinclair! ;-) Jana and her boyfriend, Randy, have some sweet moments in this book, too, that I thought were cute! If you possibly can, read this one!! You won't regret it!! =)

Killer Clown of Kings County

Who says clowns are funny anyway? In the book, a teen-aged young kid, named Zeke, is about to have a birthday party and he is going to invite all his friends over. But it looks as if his birthday will turn out to a nightmare! His mother had ordered a clown to come to his birthday party--how embarrassing! But the clown, which they soon find out his name is Idris, seems to notice something strange about the kids watching him suspectfully. Idris wants Zeke and his friends to become a clown himself. But before Zeke realizes what is happening to them, there is no turning back. Will Zeke and his friends become clowns themselves forever? This is so much fun and exciting to read, it's just one you have to read and find out for yourself and see what happens next!

This was the story of Christie right after she's arrived in England and is trying to settle down, make friends, get used to things (like school) and get over her homesicknesses. Meanwhile, the Fab. Five back in the USA are trying to get over the move as well, and decide they should get another member to their clique. I think that part was kinda dumb, because it was too soon. I won't tell you much more because it's too hard to explain, but this is a good one!!

Nobody Likes Taffy Sinclair (Taffy Sinclair, No 11)

This is a really wonderful book! Taffy comes back from Hollywood and is treated much differently at home. How will she leave home again once she starts to fit in if her new movie is going to be made into a television series? This book deals with the want to fit in, and how to deal with problems. I recommend this book highly especially for teenagers or anyone who wants to act.

Jana Morgan is ready to go crazy. First of all, her mother is getting remarried and Jana is having mixed feelings on how she'll feel about life with a new dad. She's also upset because her class is doing a special project where they are supposed to have a stuffed animal and pretend it's a baby. You can choose partners to be your 'spouse' too, but unfortunatly, Randy is in another class- and so is Laura, who is supposedly scheming on getting Randy to be HER partner. Jana is furious, and then her old enemy, Taffy, makes her a strange offer. Does Taffy really want to be friends, or is this another trick? Find out in this REALLY good book!

I love the old buildings in New York with the gargoyles and figures that scare and interest you. I live in Texas now but there is nothing like NY. This book took me to the places in NY that I remember and love. I loved to walk in Central Park. Having the horses ride in the Park was great! I enjoyed the characters. I read the book to my 4th graders and now my second graders are reading it. They love the story. Most of all I love this book because one of the horses is named after me, My Sister Eileen. Old Rob,the other horse,is named after my other son. Maybe you can guess by now. My son is the author and I show off his name on the second page to the children in my class. They love to know that Mrs. Hult's son is a writer and his name is in a book. They talk about him alot. Maybe, they even dream of being a writer like Gene Hult. My dream is to create students who can create stories like my son has. Thanks for a great story.

I don't really like Katie that much, but this was a very good story! When one of Katie's friends, Shawnie, runs away from home because of the way her parents treat her, Shawnie ask Katie to hide her at her house. Katie agrees because she wants to be 'fair' and help Shawnie. Meanwhile the parents are going beseerk, and Katie really has to decide whether to turn Shawnie in or what. There is a lot more to this story that I'm not going to mention, but you should read it!
