Best Book Ever
This book, Keep the Fiath, is a relly good book. It will start with someone and stop, then start again with someone else. You don't stop thinking about the other person. It draws you into the book. I would recomend rerading this book. I started with book four and read five and six also. The book is about young people who have problems like we have today. Other books like this are Lurlene McDaniel books. Her books deal with people and things today. Keep the Faith, is a book that i would rate a five being the highest. the author did a great job of writing the book. I would recomend it to anyone who liked books of romance and of things that we deal with today. this is a really great book to read.

Barbara Hinkel's Ettiquette Book
This book deserves five stars because it includes lots of information. It isn't as easy or funny as the lessons, but it's still really good

I LEARNED AS MUCH AS MY 12-YEAR OLD!
My daughter received a copy of this book as part of a cotillion class. She has reviewed various sections of the book as different social situations have presented themselves. The book is written with a young person in mind; it is concise, funny when appropriate, and answers a lot of questions the kids might not even know they have yet. As a mom, I found it very helpful not only in teaching my child the rudimentaries of etiquette, but in providing me with a refresher course for both business and personal situations. I have also found it extremely helpful for the dance steps; the combination of the written instruction and the ubiquitous feet make it easy to learn a new dance.

Barbara Hinkel's Etiquette and Cotillion Program, Level 1
Reviewed by ATH, age 12: I thought that the book was excellent! It explained many hard-to-understand topics pertaining to etiquette rules. After reading this book, you will have no more questions about manners and will never feel uncomfortable at parties. This easy-to-read and understand book tells you everything you need to know about etiquette and more!(Tips on dressing, dancing, manners, etc.) It is a good value for the money since you can keep it and refer to it whenever you have a question. I highly recommend this book to anyone over the age of 11.

What I mean is that I think its Cool that this Girl is speaking her mind, telling us what she wants in a relationship. And Althou I Might not Knowtis(?)a flower poking its head threw a crack in some cement I would do all that i could to live up to that And other simmiler ideals.(If Any Girl Is Interested)

Powerful and insightful ....
This book is a great read.some of the stories made me cry and feel the writer's pain. There are stories of incest and rape, first
love and menstration. This book is a must read for any women who
has been hurt by a man .For we all share a bond in sisterhood

Beautiful Stories About Female Sexuality
I didn't notice it until I sat down to write this review, but this book was written for adolescents. However, I got a lot out of the book, and I'm 27 years old! This is a very short book (you could read it in less than an hour), but it's chock full of beautiful, and painful lessons about female sexuality, love, relationships, and healing. My favorite story was House Arrest, which was written in "Dear Diary" form, and is about a young woman having to overcome her fear of leaving the house after being raped coming home one evening. Even though that's a painful issue, the writer handles it in a rather humorous way. Other issues addressed are remaining a virgin, incest survival, a lesbian coming out to her family, and losing oneself in an unfulfilling relationship, to name a few. As another reviewer mentioned, this is an excellent read for ladies of ALL ages, because we, or someone we know, have faced, or will face some of the issues addressed in these powerful stories.

Gorgeous! -- some are shiny, some are fuzzy.
Wow! Butterflies are almost a natural subject for a pop-up book, and Sabuda does not disappoint. The butterflies and moths spring to life and fly right out of the book at you! The easy narration flows well and is full of interesting facts. Makes a perfect springboard for curious young minds that want to go on and learn more about our winged friends. Comes with a beautiful paper butterfly in a paper frame for your wall. Also check out its companion book -- "Beetles." (Yes, the bugs. But you'll be surprised how beautiful they can be.)

Buggy and beautiful! Full of fun facts.
Since I follow Sabuda's work with pop-up story books, I was a little puzzled to see a pop-up book about insects! But this is a gorgeous, fun, interesting look at the world of beetles. The narration is easy and informative, the illustrations are lively, and the pop-ups are -- well, they're Sabuda! (How did he DO that?!!) Amazing! Some are very clever! There's one pop-up that's a tiny "book" of beetle memories that opens page by page for you to read as you pull the tab. It comes with a big, colorful paper beetle in a paper frame for your bug fan to hang on the wall. Also check out its companion book: "Butterflies."

Beautiful Illustrations and good learning too!
This is an exceptionally beautifully illustrated book. It holds the interest of my 6 yr and 3 yr sons. The pop-ups work well and with different textures the children can learn with the sense of touch as well as sight. We love this book

Greatest book for all pre-med
There are only a few books that I enjoyed as much as this book. Dr. Marion is an amazing writer. He manages to keep readers interested without being unrealistic. I recommand this book for anyone interested in becoming a doctor or even dating someone that is thinking of becoming one. The book explores the shortcoming of modern day medical training and the emotional stress that students go through in the process. A must read for pre-med students!

Why can't I write like this?
I'm going to keep it plain and simple. This is one of the few excellent medical books that are avialable. I have read many and I highly recommend this one. I just wish I could forget everything I have read so that I could read it again for the first time. I couldn't put the book down. In case you are interested some other great books are "When the air hits your brain", and "first do no harm, reflections on becoming a neurosurgeon". Enjoy!

Great book!
I really enjoyed this book! Dr. Marion is very honest about his experiences. The stories are sometimes disturbing and sad, but sometimes happy and they are well written. This book is much better than White Coat by Dr. Rothman because it is much more honest. When I read this book, I felt like I was right there with Dr. Marion.

Good book
Laurie Halse Anderson is a wonderful writer! This book is so good along with the whole series!

Great Book!
More Than This was the first book that I read of Clearwater Crossing by Laura Peyton Roberts. I thought it was a great book so now I'm reading everything of Laura Peyton Roberts(I saw her name in an Lurlene McDaniel book which I love to read too)I recommend this book for teenage girls just like me! :)

A Definite Must Read!
If you think that reading is boring, this book will change your mind! I have read all of the Clearwater Crossing books and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I was happy when I heard about More Than This, the eleventh Clearwater Crossing book. This book, More Than This, was not my favorite book of the series, but I still loved it! The reason why I did not enjoy it as much as some of the other books is because at times it would get a bit dull. For an example, the writer, Laura Peyton Roberts did not keep the plot interesting in the areas pertaining to Ben. But I still fretted with Eight Prime when their Valentine outreach fell through and with Melanie and her many problems with Jessie. Also I was practically yelling at Nicole about what she should do with her problems with Mr. Roarke, and her cousin Gail, at work. The way that Laura Peyton Roberts writes makes me enjoy the books even more because she makes me feel like I am there with the characters and they are my best-freinds. This book is best for female teens who are looking for a slight romance and enjoyable book!

This book was great!!!!!
I love this series so much. I always look forward to the new books coing to stores. I loved how Melanie was still trying to cope with her mother's death and how she and Jesse went to Iowa to see her mothers grave. That was sweet!

This book was a great book.
This clearwater crossing book was the best. It showed so much emotion when Peter lost Jason at winter camp. The whole community showed such apprieciation and concern for finding t he boy. They all helped so much. This book really showed how many things go on during a hoilday and to remember what is really important to you not just to find pleasure in getting a gift from others but to care for everyone and not be selfish. This book definitly deserves 5-stars plus.

These books are great!!!
Hi! I have all of the Clearwater Crossing books and really like them. I think it's neat that finally there is an author that writes about religion and the difficulties that teenagers face every day. I think this is a series that someone can learn things from and learn a good lesson from! Not everyone is perfect in the real world and these books prove that everyone has problems to face. I reccomend this series to anyone who likes reading a good book. :-)

Wow!
I had had this book for about 2 years before even thinking of picking it up and when I did I read it in under half a day. It kept a constant grip on my imagination (mind you I am very interested in all sorts of aircraft) A GREAT READ!

This book was excellent
this was one of his best books. when Chas Mcgill and his friends find a German Machine gun along with 200 rounds of live bullets. they wanted their chance of revenge on the Germans, after all it was the second world war. They build a tripod for it and they capture a german pilot but grow very fond of him and let him go back to germany. he doesn't want to. if I say any more I'll spoil it for you. All i need to say is that it is my favourite book

Magic !
I read this book a long time ago, as part of my schooling. Even at that age, I did not want to put this book down. This is a good one to pass on to young'uns, and alot of adults too. A must for the bookshelf me thinks.

A must-read for inspiration
Unlike most "religious" category books, this book lacks the preachy quality that causes most readers to not absorb the text. This book insightfully breaks down barriers between different religious beliefs and simply brings forth the universal belief in a higher power. The people that Larry King and Rabbi Katsof chose to interview are made more personable and are made more tangible through their everyday prayers, which are similar to ours, and their quest to be closer to God. This book would make a fabulous holiday gift that is sure to please a recipient of any religious background.

Simply Powerful
Mr. King delved into the foundation of Spirituality and Religion and made simple an otherwise complex and controversial issue. The book focuses on the individual and his or her communication with God, while setting aside religious beliefs. I would like to recommend to friends who are too formal about prayers and to those who maybe agnostic such as Larry King in his book.

Powerful Prayer a Must Read
Powerful Prayers is a Must Read Reading Powerful Prayers provides you amazingly simple examples of commuincating with God through personal everyday prayer. It opens the door to an otherwise complex arena of thought. The discussion between Larry King and Rabbi Katsof is sensitive and thought provoking. The interviews add incredible depth to the discussion. They also legitimize informal prayer, and the many different ways people have found to communicate with their respective spiritual beings. I recommend this book to everyone who is open to exlporing their individual communication with God. It is a must read. It has changed my entire understanding or paradigm in regards to my relationship with God outside of a house of worship.

Frenchtown Summer
This book was chosin in a book club at my school as the next book to read. I thought when I first saw it that it was small so it would probably be pretty boring, but easy to read. After I had begun to read it I found that it was anything but boring. Many different things occur that are mysterious or hard to understand. After reading the book within a couple of hours I had a couple of questions that lingered in my mind about it, with several different answeres that I could think up. When we were all done my club hada group discussion and answered some of those questions. I reccomend this book just because it is so mysterious yet easy to read. ~4 stars~

Sarah Swafford . Bak Middle School of the Arts .
Magnificent sights, sounds, smells, and emotions; all intertwined into one book, written in verse. A young male, one extremely eminent summer. Many different memories, some more outstanding than others.

Eugene, pushing his way through a summer in the 1930's in the book Frenchtown Summer by Robert Cormier.

A summer of new experiences: his first love, interesting conversations with friends, arguments with fiends, dealing with death, and the airplane, being the most outstanding. Throughout the story, Eugene complains of how he feels "like a ghost on Mechanic Street, transparent as rain..." especially to his father, who rarely paid attention to him. The airplane represents the stretch between him and his father contracting.

"First, a wink of color, orange, in the corner of my eyes, at the far end of an alley between two three-deckers." Eugene finally, vividly, describes (like the rest of the chapters) the airplane. "...I tossed my paper bag to the sidewalk and followed the flash of orange to a backyard where I saw, unbelievably, and airplane, orange, yes, with lightning streaks of white on the fuselage..." Eugene thinks that the airplane has landed in a back yard of someone in Frenchtown, but no one believes him. His father then mentions it, and Eugene is enthused by his father seeing it as well.

If looking from above into someone else's life from a different time period than today, not to mention the wonderful details of everything, from Eugene's new glasses, to his 'silent uncle' interests you then I would suggest Frenchtown Summer to you.

Frenchtown Summer
I decided to read this book for a young adult literature class and was quite pleased to read a unique piece of work from Robert Cormier. In comparison to other stories I have read, The Chocolate War and Heroes, Frenchtown Summer is not tell a dark story, but is intricately shadowed with secrets and tragedy.

The story follows a young 12-year old boy named Eugene during the summer of his first paper route. Eugene spends the summer in search of his identity (a common theme among many teens) and finds him self in need of approval from his father. Eugene also discovers a desire for adventure and through this learns deep secrets about his family.

Although this book was a quick read, it should be read several times as it written in poetic verse. The pages are open and allow for the imagination to visualize the story as it unfolds. I particularly enjoyed this story because Eugene reminded me somewhat of myself at that age. Frenchtown Summer was defiantly one of Robert's most unique stories.
